Hardly ever seen without her mermaid fin headband, a gift of her mothers. Most of the time when not in meeting she can be found elbow deep in a mech and covered head to toe in grease, much to her best friends dismay.Bio: Having been groomed her entire life to build and repair all her father's AMU's produced by the company, she has been a slightly sheltered woman. Raised to remember the courage and nobility of her Grandmother Honor Harrington For the most part she had grown up on the Moon, inside the walls of her fathers company. Only the scientists that work for her father and various employee's and Ta'Vite slaves she had known since she was a child. Kanna, her best friend and greatest rival is one of a few people to know Alena beyond the heiress that she is. Now at 20, she is only a year away from taking over the company. Her mother died when she was six, and she and her father are very close. Though she can do just about any repair job necessary, piloting the AMU's are not in her skill set. She does not like fighting, and sees that AMU's as extensions of the pilots. Seeing them hurt or destroyed breaks her heart.
Alena's father was recently killed in the Farren Sellica conflict. enforcing an embargo on both factions, Alena's continued her father's set pattern of trades on post sides of the fence, for now. Since then, Alena has adoptive, unofficially, a woman by the name of Freya, who acts like a child though being nearly as developed as Alena. She deeply cares for the girl as her own sister, and has found a true friend in her. Promising when the girl wouldn't be soothed any other way to never die so Freya could be calm. Though part Ferran, Alena is unable to read the emotions of others, however, she is a negative, able to have other Ferrans pick up her emotional state more easily than most without her realizing it. Now she must take over the company and keep Harrington Corps legacy alive. Daughter of Harold and Camilia Harrington. Granddaughter of Honor Stephanie Alexander-HarringtonPersonality: Polite and courteous as expected by a woman of her status. However, when her temper comes out, there is a reason for her nickname as Alli-gator. It takes a great deal to upset her to that point, but to call the AMU's worthless, or just a machine is one way to end up on the wrong side of this firecracker. Caring and affectionate to those she loves, with a big heart. The lose of her father is still very difficult on her. To suddenly be an orphan with no other family but a cousin and uncle on Farrah whom she's only just found, and rarely able to see other than communications from time to time. Important Possessions: Her mermaid headband from her mother, and her father's company. Various pictures of her and her best friend Kanna litter her bedroom at Harrington Corp, as long as a few pictures of her and Xander Cross, and two pictures of herself and Freya as bunny girls.
