This is where you can find all the information you need about character creation and how to apply for a position
in the roleplay. If you apply for a student position, please post your form here, and Stoofanoo or I will quote
you with your house, schedule, and any changes that may need to be made.

Character registration for house elves and ghosts is open year-round. However, after September first we cannot accept students into the roleplay unless their application form has been posted here before that date.

Acceptance periods let students who missed the deadline join the roleplay, and allow new members to join as well. Please see our calendar for dates.

A list of roles available and a brief description of their duties can be found below.

Professors (Crew): Must be active. Duties include preparing lessons for students, assigning classwork, and answering students' questions. Expected to act as role models for other members. Available positions are listed below.

------------------ History of Magic

Miscellaneous Staff (Crew): Expected to act as role models for guild members, though they are not required to be as active as professors. Available positions are listed below.

------------------ Gamekeeper

Students: Expected to attend classes, complete assignments, and write exams. Must be reasonably active.

Ghosts (five open slots): While some ghosts are restricted to haunting certain areas of the castle, others may roam wherever they please. Ghosts have little to no responsibility, making them an excellent choice for part-time roleplaying.

House Elves (ten open slots): Hermione's efforts in S.P.E.W. have allowed for tremendous advances in the treatment of House Elves. They are now allowed by Ithilwen to attend classes, but are not required to complete assignments, and still may not hold a wand. They also have duties in the kitchens, and can be a part-time position.

Special Traits: To prevent every student from having fantastical abiities, we have developed a list of special traits with a small number of slots for each.
