nickname: Ash. She really hates her girly name, so she shortened her middle name and nicknamed herself that in the third grade.

bio: ash's father was a hard worker and was in her 3rd year in college, majoring in marine engineering, when his parents died in a car crash. A drunk driver had ran a red light and crashed into the side of their car. He quit college out of depression and a few years later he got a job out of need at a restaurant. A woman came in and he took her order, something pulled him toward her, a strange feeling he had. They started talking and he asked her out. A few months later ash was born,the woman stayed with them for a few months but suddenly had to leave. Ash's father was heartbroken, but got over it for he had a small child to take care of. The 2 lived together happily in a small apartment complex. Ash didn't get much, but she was happy with the few toys and things she got over the years. She was a very opinionated girl, but very bright, though with a bit of an anger problem. She was always a bit 'stand offish' so that didn't end in her getting many friends. When ash was 12 she finally made a friend, Riley, a ((really short)) crippled girl, with a bad habit of answering EVERYTHING with sarcasm. They had met in detention, both in there for the same reason, mouthing off to a very strict teacher.They quickly became best friends. One day in the 7th grade, their grade went on a field trip to a theme park and a weird thing attacked them. It seemed to be a mix of a woman and snake. Ash stood frozen in place, shocked as the thing advanced on her. Riley quickly took action, she ripped off her pants, they were restricting movement, revealing goat legs. She knocked out a nearby police officer that was trying to shoot at it, and stole his gun. She shoots at the thing, stalling it for a second, and grabs Ash and beelines for the parking lot. She hot wires it then drives them to camp half-blood, where she waits in the Hermes cabin to be claimed.
