Someone gave me there copy of Skyward Sword - but just in a CD case. I've started the game on my Wii but I have a problem - how do I save the game? I've tried the + & - buttons but there is no place to save it, I'm really at a lose. I don't want to restart the game every time I play. Am I doing something wrong or could it be the disk?

Never mind - Didn't see that the game saves differently @ the bird statues.

It gets a tad inconvenient at times but soon your map will be marked with many bird statues from which you can choose to save on. Also, after boss fights and other milestones the game will prompt you to save on its own.
I'm glad you were able to figure it out!

I'm glad you were able to figure it out! Thank goodness - I hate to spend tome on making headway on a game and there is no save point. Looking for the statues sounds like a pain.

As you clear the different areas you'll find and mark down lots of them, to the point where it won't feel like such a bother.
