Cutie mark: Crescent moon in the night sky
Story: Luna rules Equestria with her older sister, Celestia. Whereas Celestia raises and lowers the sun, Luna does the same for the moon. More than a thousand years ago, Luna had grown evil when ponies did not appreciate her night as much as her sister's day, and she was banished to the moon by Celestia for this. When she returned, Luna's heart was purified by the Elements of Harmony and has regained the duty of raising and lowering the moon, bringing forth night.

Story: Fluttershy is a shy pegasus, who tends to the animals of Ponyville. She never could fly very well, but she makes up for it with her kindness.

Gender: Female
Cutie mark: None
Bio: Carmilla is the young descendant of the Scarlet family, a long living family of vamponies. Unlike her family however, she has no need to feed on the blood of other ponies, and can live in peace with them. Being in the sun does not directly harm her, but will wear her out with prolonged exposure. Her behaviour can be a bit eccentric at times, and she doesn't have much social experience, but she always means well.

Race: Unicorn
Gender: Male
Cutie mark: Crimson Moon
Bio: Crimson is a the first unicorn under Luna's command. He reports directly to her and does tasks she doesn't trust to any other subject. Not many ponies know about him, as he tends to stick to secrecy, only appearing in the open once in a red moon. His wings are tailored by Luna specifically, though they only allow him to levitate while remaining static. They still allow him to keep up with a normal pegasus. Despite being Luna's servant, he seems to have an affiliation with Carmilla as well.

Gender: Female
Cutie mark: Lightning with a camera in front of it
Bio: A pegasus that loves reporting, so much that she can't even slow down. Thunderclap is skilled at photography while flying at speeds that rival the Wonderbolts, but doesn't seem to care about showing it off. The stories she writes in her newspaper don't always seem to always reflect the truth well. But then again, it's widely regarded as a newspaper for amusement. Except when the main article is about a good deed by a good pony, which she loves to write about.

Description: Light blue coat, leading into a a similarly shaded scaled tail, medium length, dark green curly hair
Race: Sea pony
Gender: Female
Cutie mark: Wave of water with a wrench in front of it
Bio: Being a sea pony that wanted to explore the land, Marina was helped by a professor to get on land, having been given a mechanical rump to move around and an optical camouflage device that allows her to become nearly invisible. She's taken an interest in all things mechanical, and travels across Equestria to see the great inventions of the age. Though very defensive when meeting new ponies, she gets very kind to those that are kind to her.
