--kuro hakama (and others depending on personal preference)
--red heart droop chain belt
--warm starter pirate sash
--chain link belt
--wooden sandals (there are also geta for sale if you like rocking the geta)
--scar of duelist
--scar of matyr
--nogitsune
--condor dynasty
--yama no kami
--ancient katana
--and pretty much any sword item
--coocoon (because butterflies have their place in the bleach universe)
These are just some items in my inventory that I use frequently so if y'all want feel free to copy off of me especially for the more general stuff every shinigami should have (i.e. kuro kosode, because everyone needs a black robe).
These are merely suggestions. There are no outfit requirements within the guild, but I'm sure you geeky otaku love to dress up. I know I do.
I will try to fill this out a little better and make a more comprehensive list based off the gaia item database site I know of, as well as include where you can buy them. As far as I know a lot of the japanese attire can be found at Global Imports but the last time I was on gaia was FOREVER ago.

the character im planning on introducing will not be wearing traditional shinigami clothing, since he will be doning armor and a shield. yes my new character shall be a paladin! if you allow me, i want to change leadership of the execution squad to being the leader of that one healing squad, or a more vanguard kind of squad, since i do plan on changing character, so the theme feel and ect. will be different, il run the complete idea by you kisu, but yeah, to me Greed died. so time to roll up a new character

Feel free but don't discuss it here. Shoot me a pm or something. I think you already did but whatever.
And for the rest of you out there wanting to take a "nontraditional" approach to your character's appearance...well just take a look at my outfit. I mean Shinigami are each allowed their own fashion sense, not to mention crazy powers and such. It's shonen! It's not supposed to make any sense!
