She was growing more adept with her daggers, but it also seemed like the enemies were changing up too. No more creepy crawlies- now they were things she recognized like dragons and knights.

Easy enough. A slash here, a bash there and they were done.

West had been battling sentient swords and boxes for so long that it was almost exciting to see something more capable of fighting back, at least in his opinion. It wasn't that the chests here weren't fearsome opponents, he just felt more at home stabbing things with arms and legs and claws.

He ran toward the wyrm, sword raised, and slashed through its body with a shout.

"Hm. I wanted it to split in half," he muttered as he backed off a bit, finally noticing the girl nearby. "Guess they don't. Or maybe this one's special." It figured he would find the only monster with claws that wouldn't snap in half when he hit it.

Even if she didn't know him now, Danny would always be a chattermouth to everyone she met. Poor West would have to #dealwithit.
