Welcome to Golden Eagle High School This is a regular public high school. It's mascot is the golden eagle. It is indoor and has a grand library in the center. In the back of the school is a grassy area that the students usually hang out around unless it is rainy and quite cold. Being a regular high school, there are of course the cliques. Populars. Consist of: Cheerleaders, Jocks, ASB, and all the very attractive and social people of the school. InBetweeners. Normally more popular than unpopular. Consist of: Attractive, smart, and friendly people that aren't quite "out there" enough to be populars. Unpopulars. Consist of: Nerds, Goths, Gamers, Shys, Theatre Kids, and just about any person that isn't very good looking or very social with the in crowd. Welcome to high school.

MEET THE MAIN CHARACTERSAlexander Colley Grade: Sophomore Age: 15 Hobbies: Drawing, Sketching, Painting, Reading Personality: Quiet, Shy, Insightful, Smart when it comes to school but not socially Bio: Alexander grew up in foster care. He was taken away from his mother at a very young age because she wasn't fit to be a parent. He barely remembers her and never met his father. He now lives with his foster parents. His foster mother's name is Julie and his foster father's name is Edward. Ever since he was young Alexander has been quite shy. One day when alexander was only 8, Edward took him to an art gallery and he was so fascinated he decided that day that he wanted to be an incredible artist. His foster parents are very supportive and kind but know to stay out of his business though he doesn't mind them. Alexander is very smart and has always been a nearly straight A student with the exception of a few B's. He has only a few friends. Axel Oliveri Grade: Sophomore Age: 16 Hobbies: Writing poetry and songs Personality: Gentle, Caring, Good-natured, Will have fun doing nearly anything Bio: Axel and Alexander have been best friends since they first met in 5th grade. They were both artistic and admired each other's work. Alexander often seeks comfort in Axel who can be quite wise at times. Benjamin (Ben/Benji) McGivern Grade: Junior Age: 16 Hobbies: Theatrical acting, Playing games, Dancing and hanging out with friends Personality: Fun, Caring, Usually very happy, Easily excited Bio: Benjamin and Alexander became friends when Alexander first entered middle school in seventh grade and Benjamin was in eighth. Ben found Alexander and Axel kind of alone near the theatre room and decided to give them company and eventually became their good friend. Alexander, Axel, and Benjamin are all best friends. Juliet (Jewels) Tkarski Grade: Junior Age: 16 Hobbies: Skateboarding, Listening to music, Hanging out with friends Personality: Acts tough but is a total softie, Hates preppy girls (especially cheerleaders), Very supportive and loyal Bio: Juliet met Alexander through Axel. She and Axel were childhood friends. He had tried getting her into theatre but she said she wasn't a dork. Juliet tried to get Axel to skateboard but he had said he wasn't a hoodlum. This began a long-lasting inside joke between the two of them. Juliet hangs out with the three boys at school and sometimes on the weekends if she is actually able to convince them to get out and about. Gardenia (Garden) Fredrickson Grade: Sophomore Age: 15 Hobbies: She enjoys gardening (big surprise.) Reading, using the computer, volunteering, and in privacy or around close friends, singing. It's a secret though! She takes piano lessons as well! She is also part of the student council (people listen to her for some reason) She is constantly listening to broadway music or any music. Personality: Gentle, polite, klutzy and a big worrier. As well as passionate over different matters and things. Like her sister, she is extremely charismatic. Bio: There isn't much to tell. Gardenia was born into a middle to somewhat higher class family. Her father's being one of the best at his job. She was incredibly privileged to be raised in a normal home. There was nothing normal about her sister though. Her older sister was the star child. Being two years younger she knew that there would always be a difference, but it was uncanny at how high the bar was always set for Gardenia because of her older sister. If Gardenia did one thing, Rose could always take the pride away and do the same thing ten times better. Without even realizing it, her parents would unconsciously tell her the same thing. 'You should be just like your sister when you grow up.' 'One day you will do this as well as your sister.' At school it was the same. Her sister could do anything. And had already done it. She was by far the most loved and charismatic in her grade. While Gardenia only fed off of her sister's popularity due to the fact they were sisters. Gardenia loved her sister more than anything, but there were just time she wished she didn't have the constant reminder of the bar she had yet to reach in everyone's eyes. Gardenia is involved with the school like her sister, she is the secretary of sophomore student council. Gwen Peterson Grade: Sophomore Age: 16 Hobbies: Studying, theatre, reading comics and writing poetry from time to time. Personality: Quiet (except around Gardenia), , soft-spoken, but has a terrible temper. Extremely shy around people. Bio: Gardenia's closest friend. They have been together since fifth grade when Gwen first moved the next block over. Despite how shy she was, she instantly fell in love (platonically) with Gardenia the first day she went to elementary school. Gardenia had spoken to her when no one else had and the two of them instantly clicked. Gwen's parents are divorced, her mother a flight attendant, so there are days she doesn't come home. She has Gardenia over so much, Garden calls it a second home. In love with theater she had worked up the courage to begin and practice acting in school productions. On stage she becomes a different person completely it's almost uncanny. Even as Gardenia's best friend she is no where near as popular. She is not much for people, especially those who think they are better than everyone else. She would do anything for Gardenia and vice versa. Taylor Franks

Grade: Sophomore
Age: 15
Personality: Conceited, charismatic, sneaky, 'fake' ((according to many)) and actually friendly, to some.
Bio: The only sophomore on varsity cheerleading. She is the true queen bee of the sophomores. Her biggest competition, though Gardenia doesn't believe it, would be Gardenia. She is Gardenia's one 'frienemy'. Gardenia has constantly believed there to be good in Taylor. And there is. But as any high school queen bee, she isn't all that 'pure hearted.' Anything Gardenia had ever trusted in Taylor had somehow been told to countless people. Taylor has a way of playing innocent, and loves to get what she wants. She is a gossip hound as well as the president of sophomore student council. Gwen hate's Taylor in every way, constantly telling Garden to avoid her at all costs, but Garden knows there is just no way to avoid a queen bee. That and there is just something that makes Garden want to believe they could become true friends. Ty Erikison Grade: Junior Age: 17 Hobbies: Basketball, soccer and track. Also does some gaming when he can get the time in. More of an outdoors-man. Personality: Outgoing, loud, competitive and sometimes a bit rude. Bio: A son of a family friend to Gardenia's father. The two have known each other for a long time, and for as long as he could remember he had always bullied Gardenia and was a little s**t to her older sister. In Gardenia's eyes he is like a brother and a troublesome one at that. But was always there for her. He hasn't grown out of his kindergarten phase quite yet, meaning that his bullying towards Gardenia is really his way of trying to get her attention. Despite his popular reputation and outgoing nature, the idea of letting her know his feelings is frightening. They are good friends and he has the feeling that's all they will ever be at this point if he keeps himself quiet. Anyone outside of his social crowd he doesn't really take the time to know, only because he sticks to the 'status', the jock.

Meet The Families Alexander's Foster Parents Julie & Edward ColleyJulie Colley: Very supportive, kind, sweet, and very motherly. Negative side: she can be a little over protective. Edward Colley: Kind and interested in his son's art as well as worldly art, loves his newspapers. Negative side: Is slightly disappointed in Alexander because he isn't very tough The Fredrickson Family xx Feraline & Nicholas FredricksonFeraline: Incredibly graceful, very kind and caring and motherly. Tends to be the more 'fun one' according to her daughters. Negative: The look on her face makes it seem like she is scowling, but her smile, like her daughters melts the sun. She is a florist and is the reason behind her daughters' names. Nicholas: Formal, strict ((but gives into his wife's reasoning and prodding.)) Protective of his daughters to a fault. A very stoic, hard working and fatherly man. His stare could stop a bear in it's tracks. He is one of the best lawyers in the state. Both parents are incredibly proud of both of their daughters. But fail to realize the pressure set on the youngest. Rose FredricksonThe star child, as Gardenia knows her as. And of course the older sister, president of the senior class and most likely going to be valedictorian, prom queen, you name it. Outgoing, outspoken and just a near genius. She loves her sister though sometimes forgets to show it, like most sisters. If Gardenia ever needed anything she would always be there. As well she never realized the pressure and the bar set for her little sister. Whatever Gardenia could do, she knew how to do better. She was super woman.

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: ((picture ^)) with black skinny jeans and old grey sneakers. Feeling: Bored Class: 7th period - Math First day of second semester of Sophomore year. How ever so exciting. Alexander was very sarcastic, but usually only in his mind. The only other time he may have actually used sarcasm against somebody was probably Axel or Juliet. They were two of his best friends, not including Benjamin of course. Though Alexander never round reason to use sarcasm with fun Ben. That's besides the point. Alexander was tired and fairly bored. Last class of the day and it was nearly through. Math was fairly easy to Alexander so he had finished the worksheets the teacher had handed out and was just sitting back in his seat tapping a pencil against his chin, sketchbook in hand. He had no clue what to draw. From the far back left corner in the classroom everything was in his sights, but nothing worth his time to draw. Perhaps he could find a boy with a Mohawk or a girl with large golden curls. Maybe, just maybe, a person could draw his attention, enough attention that he could draw that person. His eyes carefully scanned the nearly quiet classroom, examining every student's slightly bent form. Most were still working on their worksheets. Then his eyes caught on a petite female form with short black hair that fell lightly on her head perfectly like feathers on a hummingbird. Her head was turned slightly to the left so he could see it. Her head was resting on her right hand while her left held a book . She was one row I'm front, 5 seats to the right. Her large grey eyes seemed so focused on whatever she was reading. He watched as her mouth curved into a grin as she must have read something she enjoyed. This was the person he was looking for. Alexander hurried to position his pencil on his pad of paper and began sketching quickly, not wanting to have her lose her position, for him to lose this moment and opportunity.

Gardenia Fredrickson ♫ Second semester had started! First semester had went by pretty slowly actually. Spring was coming around now, and the air was getting a bit warmer. This was one of her favorite time of years. The time where wild flowers began to grow again. And also the time of year she could get back to her garden and start all over again. When she had some time over the weekend, Gardenia promised she would make a list of what flowers she wanted in her patch this year. Her mother would get her the ones she wanted from her shop! With spring came a bunch more fundraising and events for student council. Lord knows she would be busy. In a month the Sadie Hawkins would be held. Her sister was already telling her about the preparations going into it. Knowing her queen bee sister, the planner of the year, she would make it a hit. Gardenia wouldn't lie, she liked dancing, not the close, sweaty kind most of the cheerleaders did with the guys. But just friendly dancing with a group of friends. Sadie Hawkins was very looked forward to with the girls at school. Those who wanted to go at least. In tradition, it was 'girls ask guys' dance. Last year had been fun, Ty had teased her and told her to ask him, but she didn't really want a date. This year, she wondered if she should bring a date. She had a perfectly good time last year with just Gwen and her other friends. As well with the other people who dragged her to dance with them. Ugh, decisions. Her sister would have her boyfriend obviously so...No that wasn't a reason to bring a date. Even if she wanted a date, Garden didn't really have eyes for anyone.
Her eyes scanned the words printed on the page of her novel. She adored reading, and the library was always a place she could just get away from having to worry about meeting expectations. Unless she went there to study. This week she had gotten another 'horror' fiction book. Spooky stories always interested her. As did historical fiction, sci-fi, even some non-fiction, and fantasy was a big one too! It helped pass the time when she finished homework early, and gave her things to day dream about. Imagination. A smile played at her lips as she read over a crucial part to the story. The climax. Soon she would have to return this book and check out a new one. Her grey eyes moved to look at the clock. There was time to finish the chapter for sure.

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: ((picture ^)) with black skinny jeans and old grey sneakers. Feeling: Interested Class: 7th period - Math/ End Of School Alexander sketched quickly and very efficiently, managing to finish the picture not only without the girl moving too much but also before the bell rang. Barely. The loud bell snapped Alexander out of his artistic daze. He slapped his sketch book close and scrambled to get his things together, keeping his eyes on the girl as she carefully put her book into her bag then walked out of the classroom, joining the flow of students. Alexander sighed and finished packing up, walking out of the classroom sketchbook in hand. He walked to his locker and opened it up with ease then slid his math textbook inside to join all his other books. When Alexander closed his locker door he found Axel waiting right next to him, making a ridiculous face to either scare him or make him laugh. Alexander wasn't sure but his stupidity did make him laugh shortly. They began to walk together into the throng of people all sifting through each other to get through any exit possible. "So, anything interesting happen today? Do you like all your teachers 'n stuff?" Axel asked while stretching his arms above his head. The boys finally pushed through the crowd and got out the doors. They were greeted with a smooth, slightly chilled wind and a grey-blue sky dotted with several grey clouds. "It's going to rain..." Alexander murmured practically to himself. Axel gasped, quite comically exaggeratedly, and exclaimed, "You didn't answer my question! Something must have happened! Tell me, please?" Alexander sighed, looking at Axel with a small smile beginning to creep upon his lips. "Well... There is this girl I noticed today... In my math class...""Who is she?""I'm not sure but I sketched a picture of her out of boredom. Do you recognize her?"Alexander opened his sketchbook that's always on hand to the page of his most recent drawing. "I still can't believe how life-like your drawings can be..." Axel whispered looking at the page in awe. "So do you recognize her?"Axel thought for a moment then shrugged his shoulders and said, "I think I've seen her around, though I don't actually know her. Perhaps you can ask Jewels and Ben when we meet up with them. They said they would be by the flagpole today. Said they would walk us home which is awfully nice of them."..... "I know who she is!" Benjamin exclaimed as soon as he saw the sketch. "Her name is Gardenia. I think her last name starts with an F? She is friends with a girl named Gwen who is in theatre. Lovely girl she is, wonderful actress absolutely sets every scene perfectly." "Blah blah blah. Ignore the hoodlum, Alexander my boy. The important thing is you know her first name and last initial. All you have to do is listen to the teacher take roll now and you'll know her last name!"Juliet piped in, making fun of Benjamin then encouraging Alexander. Alexander was blushing quite furiously. All his friends were trying to help him figure out the name of a girl he just noticed today. He didn't even know her. She was just interesting, that was all. But he had to admit he was glad. He knew what to title the sketch. Alexander smiled and pulled all of his friends together in a group hug. "Thanks you guys."

Gardenia Fredrickson ♫ The bell rang just before the end of the chapter. Cursing in her mind, she grabbed her bookmark and shut her book, trying to read the last few sentences before finally placing the book in her satchel. Standing up she made her way through the desks, getting toward the door and turning her head towards the teacher's desk. "Have a good day!" Some would playfully call her the teacher's pet, but in all honesty she figured it was just polite. Citizenship was important. As were manners, manners were a bit one. Her parents had taught her from the very beginning to say please and thank you whenever it was needed or expected. Or perhaps not even when it was expected! When she was out of the classroom she made a quick left and walked down the never ending hall lined with dark grey, metal lockers. It wasn't a surprised her locker was being blocked by those who had gotten there first, trying to collect there own stuff and get out as fast as possible. So Gardenia just waited, hugging her math and Spanish text book to her chest gingerly. When her spot was open she slipped in, her fingers spinning away at her combo before pulling the metal door open. As she fished around for her backpack and placed her textbooks back she heard several goodbyes coming her way. With each one she stuck her head up, sending a friendly smile everyone's way and waving. Since it was only the first day of second semester there wasn't really any reason for anyone to stop and ask her questions about student council or homework. Now if it were her sister, everyone would be all over her twenty-four seven. Her sister was the sun. Everyone just wanted to be in her presence, or to say hi. Make her laugh. It was uncanny. Gardenia supposed she was a bit like her sister. There were groups of people that sometimes came to talk to her. Just to ask her if she would like to join some outings, or join a study group. It was important to be social and friendly to people. And as a secretary of the class she enjoyed being able to talk to everyone.
When she finally closed her locker, like clock work, her friend was leaning against the lockers with a smile her way. Gwen's pink hair contrasted with the dark blue of the lockers. And her smile was always bright around her. That smile made Garden feel special because she had been the first one to always see it. Her friend had the most beautiful smile for sure.
"Homework?" Gwen asked quietly cocking her head as she stood up straight, looking down at her best friend's assignment notebook.
"Just a survey for the student council members to tally up." Gardenia replied with a shrug. The two of them moving to the corridors. Both reaching their hand out towards opposite doors and emerging to the courtyard. The sun was beginning to get a bit warmer. But there was a faint breeze as well.
"What are the papers for?"
"A survey of how many sophomores are thinking of attending Sadie Hawkins. You better be there this year too." Garden sent her a smile as she glanced at her from the side. Suddenly she saw Gwen look down shyly as she usually did around other people. A blush tinging her cheeks.
"A-Actually..."
"Hmm?" Garden was curious now. Gwen usually wasn't too fond on dances. Even if she ended up having fun once Garden got her there dancing. The two of them had many memories of ending up just dancing together and eating food to their heart's content.
"Well. I wanted to um..ask someone." The last part was barely audible, almost a whisper. Garden blinked a few times before beginning to bounce a bit. This was big news.
"I knew you liked someone you can't hide anything from me. But who is it?!" She demanded ecstatically. It had to be someone in theatre. Whenever she met Gwen after practice there was always a..dreamy look in her eyes. But Garden never wanted to ask herself. Gwen was very shy about some things, even to her. And it was rare for her to like anyone! Let alone ask. "Please ask, oh please ask Gwen." She looked at her with hopeful eyes. Suddenly the two of them stopped, Gwen's head lifted and she had turned to look towards a group of a few people. Stopping in her tracks. Her hand reached for Garden's arm and she pulled her friend in. Whispering as her eyes stayed toward the group.
"The...The bright red hair. Benjamin Mcgivern." She sounded like a mouse, so quiet. Gardenia spied the boy her friend was describing, then looked back to her friend. Feeling her lips curl into a smile at the look in her friends eyes. A look of adoration mixed with shyness. Something she had never seen in her friend's eyes before. It seemed Benjamin was special to catch Gwen's eyes. There was no time to ask what he was like. Her arm slipped from her friend's grasp and she grabbed her hand instead. Beginning to slowly walk toward the group.
"Courage." Garden whispered. Gwen began to pull away shaking her head a billion times with a look of distraught in her eyes. But then she looked at the hope in Garden's eyes. And back at Benjamin. If she could go on stage, she could do this. With a gulp, she followed behind, almost hiding behind her friend. When they were close enough, she let Gwen's hand go and watched as the bashful childhood friend of her's approached the taller red head.
"B-Benjamin?" Gwen asked quietly. Standing behind him, and Garden a few feet behind her friend. Watching carefully. "May I-um.. ask you something?"

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: Picture Feeling: Happy Class: After School A small voice broke the group hug apart, the little soft whisper of Benjamin's name. Everyone turned around to face the owner of the delicate voice. It was Benjamin's friend from theatre, the friend of.... Alexander almost fell over, realizing Gardenia was standing right behind her. Benjamin glanced at Alexander quickly and winked then turned back to Gwen who was quite a bit shorter than him and his tall and slim form. Eyes kind as always, Benjamin said in his friendly voice, "Hello, Gwen! Of course, you may ask me anything you like."

Gardenia Fredrickson ♫
Gwen had to look up just to look him in the eye. He was so much taller than her. But Gardenia was even an inch or two shorter than Gwen. And sometimes Gwen would make fun of her or being petite. Guess who had the laugh now? Gwen opened her mouth about to ask when she saw all of the eyes coming from behind Benjamin. His friends. Immediately she froze, closing her mouth and putting her hands behind her back shyly. Her gaze looking down to the grass under their shoes. Despite being a natural on the stage. Having eyes on her now gave her something that felt far worse than stage fright.
Seeing her friend frozen up like that, she instantly had a feeling the other three friends were making her nervous. Time to step in. Walking up slowly behind her, she patted her friends back gently, making it subtle while she walked behind Benjamin, hoping to take some of the attention from the two. Meanwhile Gwen had taken another breath and ushered Benjamin a few feet farther before beginning to speak again. Gardenia turned her head to look at the three students. She sorta recognized the boy with glasses, as well she had seen the boy with the sketch book. The sketch book immediately caught her attention. Anybody's art caught her attention. There were so many hidden talents in the school it made her feel inadequate. But she would never just full out ask if she could see. Finally Gardenia spoke up a bit, feeling rude. "I'm sorry to bother you guys." Garden spoke sincerely. Folding her hands in front of her and forcing herself not to spy on her friend. She was about to speak up more but they all looked a bit...bothered indeed perhaps. Or annoyed. Garden closed her lips and looked at the ground.
"Well..I-" Gwen started, her hands now in front of her and balling into fists. Her nerves were getting worse and she knew if she stayed silent any longer her face would look like a tomato. "Please...Would you.." She whispered, gathering her courage and gazing at him with sincere eyes. "Would you be my date to..Sadie Hawkins?" She finally asked. Her cheeks incredibly pink and her entire aura a bit flustered. "I-If you want I mean.." she added.

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: Picture Feeling: Flustered Class: After School Oh my... Gardenia was now standing in front of Alexander, Axel, and Juliet. She looked right at him. Well... not right at him. He knew her eyes just saw him as another of Benjamin's friends. Her eyes only met his for a moment before they drifted onto his other two companions. Then he heard her voice when she apologized. It was so light and petite, a perfect match for her appearance. She spoke formally as well and folded her hands before her. This girl had class, Alexander observed and admired. He glanced past her when she looked at the ground, watching Benjamin and Gwen. He watched Gwen's small mouth move and face flush as pink as her hair. Her eyes looked at Benjamin shyly yet sincerely. It was really cute actually. Then, to Alexander's surprise, Benjamin's face turned nearly as red as his hair, the blush quickly crawling to his cheeks. Benjamin looked down upon Gwen as she nervously began speaking, still grinning widely as he looked upon her petite form, soft face glowing in a pink blush that complemented her very well. Then she said it. "Would you be my date to..Sadie Hawkins?" Benjamin's smile dropped and face grew very warm. He was so surprised and flustered. He just looked at the girl for a moment, orange eyes wide and mouth slightly open. After a moment, Benjamin recovered from his absolute surprise, a soft and gentle smile spreading across his face, eyes glistening. Rather than speaking in his naturally louder and more energetic voice, his words were quieter and calmly spoken, smile still playing his lips, eyes soft."Gwen... I would love to go to Sadie Hawkins with you. I couldn't have wished for anyone else to ask me."Alexander turned back to Gardenia, oblivious to what happened between Benji and Gwen. He smiled lightly, almost tentatively, and said, "I-it's alright. We understand, of course. You're a great friend for helping her out, you know."

Gardenia Fredrickson ♫ Garden had to admit she was a bit surprised when the boy with the sketch book spoke up. Looking back up from the ground her eyes met his again. Studying him farther she realized. "Thank you...You are in my math class, correct?" A small, but friendly smiling playing at her lips. "I remember seeing you sit down when the seating chart was made." she added. She was about to ask them all if they were planning on attending the dance themselves when she overheard Benjamin from behind her. A smile burst from her relaxed expression and she wanted to start cheering, but instead she just pursed her lips. Not making a sound but instead smiling at the group in front of her. "Mission success..." She chuckled. Suddenly Gwen was beside her, quiet as a mouse, but hiding her dreamy smile by looking down. Benjamin also came to join the group. The two not saying a word. Garden decided to break the ice herself. "Looks like Gwen won't be joining me for pictures unless I find a date this year. Oh well!" With a shrug and a nudge with her shoulder to her friends, she looked over the quiet group of friends one more time. Her eyes lingering on Alexander, although she had no idea of his name. Something with an A..she would ask tomorrow for sure. Right now she didn't want to bother them, and honestly it seemed like Gwen wanted to run. "I hope you all will think about attending. I honestly understand if you don't though it has a sorta romantic vibe. But I guess I'm going to set the 'forever alone' bar." She said awkwardly, her fingers brushing the back of her head. Wow she just didn't know how to talk today. Maybe it was just because they seemed so quiet. Quiet people made her nervous, as if she would talk them to the point of wanting to jump off a cliff. Gardenia finally took a step back. "Hope you all had a good first-second semester day!" Her eyes met Alex's one last time. studying the silver hues from a bit farther back before catching herself. "See you in math." She sent him a soft smile. Wanting to look at his silver hues a bit more, but having her arm locked with Gwen instead and the two walked off. Gwen saying a quiet goodbye to Benjamin and his friends.
Once the two were outside the school gates, Garden moved to squeeze Gwen' hand and squealed in a musical like way. The two of them holding hands and exchanging ecstatic glances.
"He..He actually said yes.." Gwen drawled, as if it were a dream, her shoe shuffling the ground as they began to walk. "Oh Garden..Thank you for that." she whispered and squeezed her best friends hand. "He said yes!" She began to giggle softly, her eyes closing and she tilted her head to look up at the sky. Feeling on top of the world. "You know what this means right?"
"Hmm? That I'm gonna be all alone at the dance?"
"That's a lie and you know it. Have you seen your dancing? There's gonna be a circle of dancing just around you. Ty will be there too right. And let's not forget 'Queen bee' trying to mingle with you." Gwen grimaced thinking of the sophomore president of student council. "You know...if we both had dates..." Gwen began quietly poking her cheek.
"Nuh uh." Garden said flat out, watching her feet on the sidewalk compared to her friends. They walked almost in sync. "I..I don't just wanna date to get a date Gwen." She started quietly. "I want a date. Is that dumb? I'm just a sophomore but...watching you ask Benjamin like that..." She trailed off.
"Oh gosh was I blushing?" She asked putting a hand to her own cheek, feeling the warmth lingering on her skin. "D-Did I look dumb?"
"If you didn't notice he was also blushing...The way he was looking at you...." she smiled. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have someone look at her like that. Gwen demanded to know what she was talking about, but Garden simply put a finger to her lips and winked. Gwen demanding to know the rest of the way home.

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: Picture Feeling: Flustered and Happy Class: After School Alexander couldn't even speak as the next few events ran by. He couldn't even respond to Gardenia's sweet voice. Then the girls walked away. and that was it. Slightly disappointed and flustered, Alexander watched as the girls walked off, already talking to each other happily. He shook his head, clearing his mind, and turned to face the still blushing Benjamin with a wide grin. "So, what just happened there exactly?"Alexander wiggled his eyebrows and nudged Benjamin, causing him to blush harder and let out a laugh along with Axel and Juliet. "W-well... She asked me to the dance! I can't believe it! Not only am I happy that she got her courage up but I'm ecstatic that she asked me! I'm absolutely elated!"The group of friends all congratulated Benjamin. Alexander knew he had liked Gwen for quite some time by the way he spoke of her with not only admiration but also her looks and soft voice. Before Alexander could contentedly ponder over Gwen and Benjamin for another moment, Benjamin grabbed his shoulders and lightly shook Alexander, excitedly saying, "But Gardenia! She said she wanted a daaaate~""Yeah, so what?""SO, that could be YOU!"Alexander's face turned pink as he stuttered out, "W-what? N-no way! I don't even really know her a-and this was only the first time we've e-ever spoken!"Axel spoke up, slinging his arm over Alexander's shoulder and beginning to walk, leading the group off of school grounds and to their close neighborhoods. "He's right, y'know. You have a very good chance with this lady, Alexander!"Juliet, walking next to Benjamin on the far left of the group finally piped in with a rougher voice, "I don't know, Alexander. She seems like a totally annoying prep to me. I think she is the sister of he queen bee here..." As they walked, the boys all turned to look at Juliet. "What screwed with your board, Jewels?"Benjamin questioned Juliet. In response, Jewels just made a face and looked forward, appearing intent on walking.

Gardenia Fredrickson ♫ Closing her locker door, her hand raised to cover her mouth as she yawned widely. She had woken up extra early to meet with the student council and add up the votes for each grade. It seemed there was a decently large number of students attending the spring dance. This year they would have to use both the gym and the cafeteria. There was still a theme that needed to be established, as well as food. A place for people to take photos, etc. But those meetings would be held after school. Blinking the tired feeling away, she double checked if she had everything and shut the locker door. Resetting the combo and hugging her books to her chest before heading down the hall. It was too early to go to class. But there was no harm in seeing if the classroom was even open. And if so, asking if her first period teacher needed any help. Her first class was honors literature. At the moment they weren't reading any novels. They were beginning the creative writing and poetry unit. Garden could honestly say she loved to write poems when words could actually work with her and her mind. But reading it was hard at 7:15 in the morning. The dark and dreary poems piqued her interest. Music was basically poetry put to music, so there was no way she could truly get bored of it. Walking a few classrooms up, she looked through the glass, the lights of the classroom off. The empty desks and lighting gave the class a spooky look. Well, there was no putting her stuff on her desk or doing work in there.
Instead of waiting by her locker, or for Gwen to show up, she picked the quietest place she could think of. The library! It was open before and after school and was actually one of the best places to look for her off of student council duties. After taking a few hallways she slipped inside the quiet sanctuary of literature and shelves. Saying a quiet good morning to the librarian. A familiar face for someone who was a regular to the library. Taking a look, she noted the lack of people. It was usually like that in the morning. She took a table near the back corner, setting her books down and sitting down herself before opening her book. She only had a few pages left, and if she finished in the library. She would be able to find another one if she was quick enough. If she could make up her mind. Sometimes she just sat near a bottom shelf and stared at the title of the book. Not only would she get in the way of others, they were probably wondering what took her so long.

+Alexander Colley+ Wearing: Tight black t-shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, tattered black converse, black beanie, cross earring Feeling: Sleepy yet focused Class: Before school, Library Alexander yawned as he entered the library as soon as it opened. He was often too lazy to walk to school in the mornings as he did after school so he was dropped off by his mother on her way to her work as an assistant in some big office in the city. He wondered to himself if waking up so early was really worth it rather than just walking for 15 minutes. Regardless, he stayed with his routine of getting up early and being dropped off an hour before the start of school. The good thing was his mother bought him coffee from Starbucks that they passed along the way. Alexander had just finished his simple latte and tossed the container before entering the silent library, lights still turning on. He took his place in the back corner of the library, away from watchful eyes, slightly hidden behind a bookshelf. It wasn't that he was doing anything bad, Alexander just wanted to spend his morning alone with nobody looking over at him. As he pulled out his sketchbook along with a fine graphite pencil and eraser, he carefully put away the bag he had been holding. The small paper bag held a croissant that he had bought and planned to eat later in the day. He really had a weakness for pasties of any sort. Alexander began sketching a creature that was a cross between a man and a lion. He carefully and lightly shaped the anatomy, shadowing the rippling muscles of the man that was slowly forming beneath Alexander's hand. He sketched long hair that swept around his head and shoulders as if blowing in some wind. He leaned closer to the paper as he carefully detailed the face. Hard eyes with a hint of invitation, as if he was allowing whoever was viewing the picture of him to look into his life. A tail formed that twisted from his backside and appeared to be lifted by the same imaginary wind that sifted his majestic mane of hair. At the point of the creature's bellybutton, Alexander began shading differently and sketched intricate patterns of fur as the man's lower half transformed into that of a lion. Alexander was so focused on his drawing that he didn't notice anything that was happening around him.
