You've all been waiting on the information for this forum thread to come and now your waiting has paid off. This is an on-going forum event in the guild where anyone and any project can enjoy doing it. The main idea for this fun forum event is to try and copy the image for this week either by: Crocheting, Knitting, Molding, Sewing, or Any Other crafty way you can think of to try and make a replica of the image as best you can. It's free to enter and fun to do. The only catch is you have a week to do it and it ends every Saturday Night and begins again every Sunday Morning. Once this week is completed a new thread will be made with the same information just a different image, week, and date will be posted in the thread. Now you know the basic information on the game let me tell you the rules of the game:

1.) No copying another members work. Say you want to crochet the image but some one already has. That is fine but don't copy their pattern or exact way of doing it. You will be disqualified instantly.
2.) You are allowed to go back once you finish your item and add things to it. The item is not locked in until 11:59 P.M. Saturday night my time. (Eastern Time Zone.)
3.) You must have an image of your item, and it can not be larger than a 500x500 image.
4.) You must title your work and add a description to it.
5.) Add the materials you used and tools needed for the job.
6.) Give an estimated time on how long this item took you to do.
7.) DO NOT COMMENT ON OTHERS WORK HERE! YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO POST YOUR WORK AND KEEP IT UPDATED HERE!. (You can however completely copy everything you wrote in the edit mode of the post and paste it somewhere else in the guild like Chit-Chat or My Projects to share with everyone for them to comment on.)
8.) Images must be clear.
9.) Description and notes on project must be able to clearly understand!
10.) More rules maybe added if needed!
11.) Have fun and Happy Crafting!

Now that you know the rules for the game here is how you win. You win by participating in the game. In the end the Captain---> AshtonsBoutique will chose the one she likes the best and the one she chooses will be the winner. The prize for being the winner in this game is 15,000 Gaia Gold. So, all you have to do is participate, keep up with your work, abide by the rules, and hopefully get chosen by the Captain to win the 15,000 Gaia Gold prize. So good luck and happy crafting! (Prize will be given in a trade from the THM on Sunday at 12:00 P.M.-5:00 A.M. that morning Eastern Time Zone.)

Now here is the image below you must copy to your best of your abilities. Below that will be the date it begins and ends. The prize will also be reminded underneath it. Please read the instructions and rules carefully, you don't want to be disqualified for this game.

User Image

Materials:
1.5 oz of 4 ply Green Oak Acrylic = Off White
.2 oz of 4 ply Green Oak Acrylic = Chocolate
.2 oz of 4 ply Red Heart Super Saver = Country Blue
Size H Boye crochet hook
Tapestry Needle to weave in ends
Graph Paper 16 squares per square inch = 18 sqs. X 25 sqs.
Matching Color Pencils for copying image onto graph paper (if you're kids haven't used them and then lost them all. lol.

Finished Size: 11 in. X 9.5 in.

How long did it take? about 3.5 hours

Instructions:
CH 37, turn and SC in 2nd CH from hook to end of row, Ch 1,
*turn, SC in next SC to end of row, (repeat from * following the pattern on your graph), finish off, weave in loose ends.

To learn how to Tapestry Crochet, click here.

Learn how to make the stitches and change colors here with pictures.

Notes:
Because I used such a small graph to complete the project, it is not as detailed as it should be so it looks more like a fork and spatula. lol. The more squares per inch the better the finished image will look.
Here is a pic of my graph.
