I might be a little masochistic but I really like making full sized afghans. We have two in the house that I've made, a couple I've given away and another on the hook right now that's in hibernation.
We also have seven in the closet that I got from my Nana when she passed away. I think there's one regular blanket in this whole house.

For some time now it has been amigurumi. However, variety is the spice of life. Therefore, every once in a while a hat, afghan, scarf or bag gets done.

Currently I love to crochet random patterns. I will look up tutorials on Youtube and try them and do them just to see if I can. Most of the time I can and I don't give up till I get it. I may not ever make it again but at least I know I could do it lol! yum_cupcake

I love making dolls by hand. Since I am a bit impatient, I usually end up with freeform stuff. But I managed to make a cute slenderman doll. 3nodding
Once I finished this sweater, I will try to go for a crochet doll of the rake. whee

I think it depends on the type of yarn I'm looking at. I usually find yarn I want to use and then search for a pattern to use the yarn. Then I go back to the store or auction and pick up the amount I need. emotion_awesome Yeah, I'm kooky like that.

I love making blankets, although I've only had the desire to do one piece projects so far. I find it relaxing to do something continuous. I also enjoy doing scarfs and dishcloths, and I've started making hats and baby clothes as well. I usually have one of each thing on the go at any given time.

Practical wearable things like gloves, booties, hats, scarves, etc. . . I haven't had the patience yet to make a blanket but I'm sure I'll love it when I do.

amigurumi, hats and afghans - scarfs also but now it's hats and amigurumi as I'm going to an art/craft festival in 2 weeks.
