Annie stood just off stage, and she finally got into her little red dress. Her hair was up in a bun, messy but formal, and her bangs (and any strands that freed themselves near her face) hung loose like a frame of hair. Kate fussed around her while Annie herself fixed her black formal-heels. "Kate, I'm fine, really," Annie laughed.
"Ya. I just get so nervous on the first day you know?"
Annie laughed a bit louder. She didn't mean to, it just kind of happened. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were the one up there giving a boring speech," She teased.
"It's not that..." Kate sighed, glancing back at Tony, and other odd staffing choices. "I'm just a little worried about all the replacements... The school can't afford to have bad reviews."
Annie glanced back, smiling at Tony before anyone else. "Kate, I'm confident in my staff members that every one of them will give all they can to help the students. I trust them." She smiled at her worry-wart assistant. However, the truth was, some decisions were very much last minute.
Vern and his new friend Hana left her dorm and headed down to the auditorium. Along the way, he could hear her trying to pronounce "auditorium". Admittedly, it was pretty amusing. The poor girl! He'd only known her for an hour or two at best, but already he was quite fond of her. And more importantly, he was going to not only help her with her English, but make sure she had an amazing school year! Besides, she was such a sweet girl, how could anyone not like her~?
They arrived in the auditorium safe and sound, and already Vern could see a handful of students from other Class Ranks coming together for the assembly. "Alright Hana-chan, here at the Assembly the teachers introduce themselves to us, and the Headmistress welcomes us to the school. Here, we can meet other students that might not be in our classes, or meet up with old friends from last year; basically just come together and meet others~ So, don't be afraid to say hi to some other kids, and if somebody is being mean to you... Don't be afraid to walk away, either. Alright? Most of us here are pretty friendly~" Vern explained to her what they were here for, smiling at her. Knowing that she was going to be married off at the end of the school year, he truly did want her one chance at a life to be a great one. Deep in his heart though, he was silently thanking his mother for not trying to arrange a marriage for him. Gaw! Inwardly, Vern shuddered at that thought, realizing if she had decided to arrange marriage him to somebody... he'd have been stuck with a girl! Gross! Women made great best friends, but when it came to sex and romance, he'd stick to guys. They were way better!
Over the summer Lacus helped out her father back in Lilycove City at his breeding center. She got a lot of hands on experience that would help her during this year in that very class. She hoped to show off her stuff throughout the year but that didn’t mean she was going to be a jerk about it. During the holiday she also managed to get a Chatot a trainer left him at her father’s breeding center and said he didn’t want it. Feeling bad Lacus couldn’t turn the small bird down for a real home.
Lacus was in search for her friends somewhere anywhere. She had Chansey’s pokeball with her to hold her end of the deal to Marco. It would be sad to say goodbye to such a great pokemon but it was fun while it lasted. Walking through the courtyard Lacus was looking for any signs of her friends. When she couldn’t find anyone she realized that at the opening assembly she was bound to find her friends there. That’s where everyone was after all. With that she headed for the auditorium where the assembly would be held.
Arriving there Lacus looked around for anyone she knew. That’s when she saw Vern with a girl she didn’t know she must have been new. Well that just means that she could make a new friend too. “Vern!” Lacus called running over to him. “How have you been? How was your summer?” she asked skidding to a stop. Man was she excited. “Hello you must be new here my name’s Lacus White.” She introduced with a bow and a friendly smile.

Athena walked into the Auditorium, holding her daughter's hand. She got a few looks from some of the students, as well as some of the male staff, thanks to the dress she was wearing. But she just ignored them. The only reason she'd dressed up at all was because Annie had asked her to and because it was the first day of school. She'd be back in jeans and a t-shirt by tomorrow, and ready to teach class her first real class as an official teacher! And two classes to boot! Fortunately for the dyslexic Athena, neither of her classes required reading out of a textbook, or really any reading at all unless it was for a written exam. Baw! She hated tests, especially written ones! Since they were going to be her classes, she was going to try and eliminate as much written work as possible, since it was actions, knowledge, and willpower that made the trainer! Not how well they could perform on a piece of paper. In reality, that was probably the only good thing her unfortunate students could look forward to that year. Everything else well... Was going to be hell.
”Hey Annie, you look nice today~” She greeted her boss, smiling at her. Tabby jumped up and down and greeted the headmistress too, hugging her leg in utter adorableness! "Jeg (Hey) miss Annie!"
"Au-di-to-ri-um. Au-di-to-ri-um..." Hana kept repeating in a whisper, practicing the entire walk over. It wasn't until Vern started talking again that she stopped and looked back up. The place was bigger than her family estate! Just this one room alone! And there were so many people! So many... she began to get shy. She listened intently to her friend, staying close and unaware of just how timid her body language must have looked. He had said that most people were friendly. That'd already been a big part of her day! Starting off with a terrible encounter, then meeting a number of people who came right to her aid with kind smiles and generous offers of help. She nodded shyly up at him, wanting to be brave but too shy to leave his side.
The next thing she knew, pink hair came flying up at them. It was a tad-bit startling, and Hana had jumped a bit before realizing it was someone her friend must have known very well. When introductions began, she went right back to her habits and bowed politely, "H-Himeko no Hana. Jusst Hana good tho." She smiled shyly. "Ahre yu new liek mee?" She asked, hoping she'd have someone who knew what it was like being in such a place; and being able to make friends with a kind person like that.
As Vern was about to take his seat next to Hana, there was a sudden head of pink hair skipping over to him. He grinned, seeing the familiar face of Lacus White. "Heeeeeeyyy, Lacus~ Long time no see! I missed you in Foretree!" Vern greeted, getting up to hug his pink-haired friend. "And I've been good~ The summer was awesome! I got my hair cut, I'm not quite so scrawny anymore, I got a baby sister named Angel, Clueless-chan stopped by for a visit, and I got an awesome tattoo that I need to show you later!" There were other things that'd happened too, but they could discuss that later, if they so wanted to. Right now, he was just happy to see another familiar face! He hugged her a little tighter, than sat back down next to Hana. Excited to see his friend, he patted the seat to the otherside of himself and motioned for her to sit next to him. "Come sit with us, Lacus!"
Lillith arrived at the auditorium after helping some otherwise lost students find their way to the campus and the same location that she was going to. Looking at the stage, she could see them and honestly part of her didn't want to be here. To meet and greet them and as if she was okay and everything was alright when she knew that part of her wasn't feeling one hundred precent.. If she was lucky enough, she could make it through the assembly. After all, she was wearing a damn suit to this thing, she was not going to let it go to waste. Deciding to buck up, Lillith has arrived and walked up to the stage. She would act like her. Whatever that was like since she was still learning more about herself. "Annie..." She said with a bow as she greeted the woman. She then looked at Antonio. "Antonio..." She said with a bow as well before she looked Athena and Tabby. The expression changed as she smiled at the little girl and her mother. "Hi there Tabby." She said sweetly.
Ayami wondered around the school grounds hunting down the teachers, he did need to know them since he was after all gonna work with them. He finally found his way to the auditorium and saw a few teacher like people and preyed for once he got this right. Unlike the time his friends got him secretly drunk and kick him out where he had to knock on every door on a house that look like his house... He was pretty sure he was getting a restraining order for entering homes that look like his.
As he walk up to the group he spoke kindly to ever one "Hello. Since... Hopefully i got this right, that you all are teachers and i will enjoy working with you all. My name is ayami saru-" He was suddenly cut off as his two only pokemon were released out of there pokeballs and grimmy the cubone began walking around hitting stuff. Ayami just sighed as he chased after the cubone as mimic quickly used transform and became a second cubone... And also quickly began hitting stuff. Ayami watch mimic and grimmy casually walk around waking stuff. He spoke in a harsh tone "Mother fu-" He cut himself off and just exhaled loudly before speaking in a disappointed tone "...I hate my life some times." Shortly after saying that he quickly chased after the two pokemon and with in a "few" minutes got them back in there pokeballs and just kinda took a rest away from everyone as to not cause any more problems. He just hope he wasn't gonna get fired for this mishap.

Now I know that I’m not all that you got. I guess that I, I just thought... Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart? But our friends are back, so let’s raise a toast, ‘Cause I found someone to carry me home...
Iris calmly entered the Auditorium, Torchic following her closely. For the new term, she had left Unfezant in her storage system, despite the bird's protests. He was already big and strong. Now it was time for her other Pokemon to have a chance to grow. "Come on, Torchic. Let's go sit over there." the girl said, pointing to an empty row in the middle of the room. "Chic! Torchic!" the chick exclaimed.
Yes, Torchic was one of her three Pokemon that she had brought back with her for the new term at the Academy. For some unknown reason, Torchic just wouldn't evolve. No matter how hard him and Iris trained, he just wouldn't evolve. It was strange. Her second partner was Vanillite, her Christmas present from Iggy. If she brought Torchic, Vanillite had to come too. Those two were like two peas in a pod. Best friends, despite being opposite types. Rounding off her team was Machop, Iris's baby. He had grown up since last year, gaining more control of his strength. Over the summer, Iris had managed not to get punched in the face, which was a huge improvement.
"Keep up, Torchic. I don't want you to get lost in here." Iris called behind her, smiling as her little chick struggled to keep up. He dodged feet, people, everything, just trying to stay with his trainer. "Toooorrrrrchic!" he whined, frustrated that there were so many people in his way, and all of them were bigger than he was. Iris laughed to herself, and picked up the Pokemon, holding him against her chest. "There. Now we can go sit down." she said, still smiling down at her partner. "Chiiiiic! Toooorrrrchic!" he whined again, not wanting to be held. He wanted to walk! Eventually, he gave up his complaining and stayed quiet.
Iris sat down and loosened her grip on Torchic, allowing him to sit in her lap comfortably. "There. That wasn't so bad, was it?" she asked, petting the bird's fluffy orange feathers. Torchic shook his head, ruffling the feathers Iris had just smoothed down. "Chic! Torchic Chic!" he proclaimed, as if pointing out that he could have done it on his own. Blue eyes rolled to the right before setting their gaze upon the stage. When would Miss Annie speak? Quietly, she waited for the woman to give her speech to welcome everyone back to the school.
The moon is on my side. I have no reason to run. So will someone come and carry me home tonight? The angels never arrived, but I can hear the choir. So will someone come and carry me home...
Tonight, we are young, so let’s set the world on fire. We can burn brighter than the sun. So if by the time the bar closes, and you feel like falling down, I’ll carry you home tonight.
Antonio walked into the auditorium with Annie. After they were doing messing around, the frantic Annie dragged him to the assembly where they were to greet the new students as well as the previous students before the headmistress, Annie, gave her speech for this entrance ceremony. Antonio greeted the students and exchanged some hello's with some of the staff members of the school. Overall he was very bored, but this was a part of the job and Antonio always made sure to do his job. At least he wasn't alone in his struggles because joining them was Miss Lyon and her adorable little girl who was currently hugging Annie's leg attaching herself like a cute tiny leech. He wondered if the girl would remain sweet or if she would grow up to be devious like her mother.
"Good morning, Miss Lyon, a black dress has never looked more dazzling in a woman," Antonio complimented approaching the two women and little girl. He kneel down and rubbed Tabby's head, "and hello there. I didn't know there was such a cute little princess joining us today." He smiled at Tabby then stood back up to face Athena. It was then when he noticed Lilith and his heart skipped a beat. She was looking right at him and Antonio was captivated, he could not look away. He'd never seen Lilith wearing an outfit like that before and it was very charming. "Lilith," he whispered and blinked when she bowed to them which was very formal for her. Antonio bowed too for some reason.
Then came one of the new teachers who was coming to greet them. It was nice to see they were getting new staff members, but he was a little disappointed that the teacher was not a woman. The man introduced himself as Ayami, but he stopped short when his pokemon came out of their pokeballs and began to cause minor havoc to the area around them. Antonio sighed, how could he have such small control over his pokemon? At lease he managed to stop the Cubone duo before they caused any real harm. Ayami would certainly be an interesting teacher and Antonio wondered how the other new teachers would be.
Antonio walked up to Lilith keeping a smile on his face, "its good to see you again, we should catch up." Hopefully Lilith understood that he wanted to talk with her after this ceremony was over, alone. They both had a lot to talk about especially since their last meeting did not end very well.

Lady Niara
Marco Sombra de Milagros
I'm back to the place where I matured...
Marco entered the auditorium with Niara, he was holding his stomach the place where Iris punched him. Marco left completely dumbfounded and sadden by the events that occurred in the Garden. He kissed Iris which he didn't think was something bad because she was his girlfriend, but apparently he had crossed some kind of line by kissing her. Not only did she punched him in the stomach, but she called him an idiot. The impact was harder than the punch itself and Marco left with an empty feeling. Good thing that Niara was with him because she was supporting him and that made him feel better.
What was happening to Iris? From the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew that there was something different about her. Iris wouldn't punch him for no reason, right? So maybe he really did do something wrong to her. Whatever it was, he would need to apologize when he saw her. She ran away before he had the chance to ask her anything, but surely she would be in the auditorium somewhere and most likely with Vern.
Marco did not find Iris, but he did find a Iris. Little Iris was not very hard to miss because she easily stood out. The golden was enough indication, but her cute face and delicate features were also a big prove it was her. Little Iris embraced everyone with her cheerful attitude and naturally people were drawn to her because of those traits. Marco was more than happy to see her, "let's go say hi to her." Marco spoke to Niara and they carefully walked over to the sit that Iris was sitting on. "Long time no see, kiddo," Marco smiled taking a sit next to little Iris.
Briana Rossman & Sophie Miller Team: Eevee , Shine Ninja ,
Sophie led the way from the courtyard to the Auditorium after she had gotten off of Zelda and returned her to her pokeball. Briana had followed after her cousin, hands in her pockets, Eevee wrapped around her shoulders like a scarf. Sophie was beyond excited for the start of the new school year. She had not been there right at the beginning and wanted to know everything that happened. To Briana this was old hat, after all this was her third time being here, her second second year as it were. Deep down, Briana was excited to see everyone again. After last year though she still felt like she was starting to have friends. Iris, Vern, Niara, Maria, they were all people Briana thought of as friends but she knew she was social butterfly so it was hard for her to talk to them sometimes. Luckily for Briana she spotted Vern, with Lacus a girl she had never seen before. Briana started walking towards Vern but Sophie skipped on ahead of her. Sophie stopped in front of the small group. "Hi Vern, Laucs, how were your summers? And hi, who are you?" Sophie brightly asked the new girl standing next to Vern. Briana joined Sophie and the others and smiled, "Hey there."

『Silence you fear, we've got to move higher Unlock the stars in the sky guiding us all』

Kazu came in with Araquo on his back, breathing a little heavy from the run here from the cafeteria. He had just finished a good meal prepared by what Kazu assumed to be one of the cooks of the academy. Now that he was full again, he could focus a little better and get through the day a little easier. So he came in, took a seat and waited, looking around to all of the other students and some of the teachers that were present. A lot of kids here. I wonder if it was this packed last year... He started to try to remember faces and study the kids moving around. There was a Hispanic-looking boy with a young lavender-haired girl, both approaching a young girl. There was another black-haired boy being approached by another few young girls. There was even another young woman that looked like she came right out of Japan. Hell, she almost looked like royalty if not from the upper class. Then there was the teachers. He was curious as to who his own instructors would be. But looking around, he figured this would be fun.
He looked around more. After a bit of looking, he spotted something he was particularly interested in: his older brother. He was more or less just hanging around the stage to the side. But if he knew his own older brother as well as he thought, Taku wouldn't be able to see Kazu from where he was. So Kazu pulled out a small notepad and one of the pens in his pack. He scribbled a quick note and looked to Araquo, tearing out the note. Araquo, I need you to take this to Taku. He's down there, see him? Good, go take this to him. After a cute little salute like he was a military soldier on a mission, Araquo hopped down from Kazu's shoulder and made his way over to Taku, weaving his way through the seats, passing under with ease. Kazu sat quietly, still awaiting the announcement's beginning.

Iris ran as fast as she could to get away from the garden. She was so embarrassed. Marco kissed her and her first reaction was to punch, insult him and run off. "I have to apologize to him big time. I don't want to lose him as a friend" she said. "Maybe I'll make him something...I can make cookies without burning them now so maybe he would accept that as an apology."
Iris sighed to herself as she went to take a seat in the front, just in case Marco appeared because wasn't ready to apologize just yet. "Where's Vern when I need to talk to him.." she looked around the auditorium and saw all her friends walking in. So many that she had not seen since the summer began. It made her happy to see them all. Iris pumped her fists got up and started to go over to them and say hello and greet them.
As she went over, she felt herself bump into someone. "Oh my. I'm sorry..."
