Appearance:
Yuka is a fair woman with long blonde hair trailing down to her waist and a slender build. Usually hidden behind dark sunglasses, her golden eyes are cat-like in nature retaining a slit pupil in bright sunlight and widening in darker areas or at nighttime. Like the other Vizards she wears Living World clothing but prefers practicality as well as style giving her more of an elegant manner of dress.

Anything Unusual: Yuka’s eyes are almost perfectly cat-like complete with slit pupils and very well-adjusted to the night. In turn, however, she is required to wear sunglasses when she goes out on sunny days in order to avoid damaging her eyes. When her reiatsu flares she occasionally gives the impression that her teeth are sharp.

Kido: Yuka is a proficient kido user with a strong background in Bakudo having reached relative proficiency up to #99. In her attempts in Hado it is impossible for her to go beyond #88 without the spell falling apart and causing harm to herself as well as the target. She is also experienced in the Visored Kido Hachigen Usoda left behind including the Four Gates, their combined form, and Hachigyo Sokai (which is necessary to maintain the secrecy and protection of the Visored’s home). Because Hachigen’s other barrier abilities were unique to his Visored powers and skills as former Vice Chief she is incapable of using them.
Shunpo Level: Yuka is a proficient user of Shunpo knowing the skill Senka and capable of utilizing her speed to the equivalent of Utusemi. This, in combination with her Zanjutsu makes her a formidable foe.
Hakuda: Yuka has enough experience in Hakuda to adequately defend herself for a short amount of time but lacks the skill to do so extensively. It bears mentioning that anyone who gets that close to her is likely to end up with more than a few frostbitten limbs as she has no qualms with channeling her reiatsu through her hands.
Hollow Mask: The mask is simple in design bearing a cat-like form with the top half extending upwards in two cat ears. The eyeholes are upside down isosceles triangles and there are painted blue whiskers.
Cero: Yuka’s cero is royal blue with a touch of gold. She chooses to fire it from her palm like a Shakaho. It’s large, dangerous, and has a habit of freezing a path behind it as it goes.

Zanpakuto Name: Byakko
Zanpakuto Appearance: A simple katana in a white and blue sheath with a silver guard in the shape of a disc. The blade itself reflects light in such a way as to sometimes seem impossibly clear almost like glass.
☠ ══════════════════════[ Shikai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ☠
Shikai Incantation: Sing, Byakko.
Shikai Appearance: In shikai Yuka’s blade becomes two steel tessen tied together with a long blue ribbon. The ribbon is capable of extending in length allowing her potential long-range attacks.
Shikai Abilities: Yuka’s shikai is a sandbox in nature. As long as she has enough power she can do virtually anything with her ice that she puts her mind to. Her powers are enhanced by the moisture in the air, which, after extensive training, she’s learned to utilize excellently even in small amounts. The more moisture there is the faster she will be able to execute her attacks. Among them only one is significantly recognizable.
-With some time Yuka is able to make an enormous ice cube. The walls are extremely thick and very difficult to break and the inside is hollow allowing she and an opponent to do battle there. Other than being extremely cold Yuka can easily manipulate the environment within the cube allowing spikes to shoot out of the ice and so on giving her the edge.
-She can also use the percentage of water in the body to freeze limbs or the like.
☠ ══════════════════════[ Bankai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ☠
Bankai Name: Hajime Byakko
Bankai Appearance: Yuka’s zanpakuto spirit, Byakko, maintains a corporeal form via ice and snow. He is capable of freezing and slicing up enemies but can nullify his effects in order to carry passengers on his back. His powers never affect his wielder. Yuka herself gains a pair of twin claws for close combat.
Bankai Abilities: Like her shikai, Yuka’s bankai is largely sandbox in nature and she will use this to her advantage. Her ability to manipulate ice and cold are magnified and her attacks are delivered much more quickly.
☠ ══════════════════════[ Background Information ]═══════════════════════ ☠
Personality: Yuka isn't someone who's easy to read. Her porcelain features are usually arranged in some semblance of thoughtfulness but no one can ever tell what it is she's thinking about. Any other time one sees her she seems to maintain an air of tranquility. She can be warm and acts as such towards her Visored family protecting and watching over them but very few can actually claim to know the woman who acts as “leader”.

History: To search for a fragment of Yuka’s past before her life as a Visored is an impossibility. Any traces of the person before now have been erased from all records but memory, and even that is rarely found. As far as anyone knows Yuka Hana began her life as a young woman who briefly became affiliated with the prior Visored group. With their guidance she was able to exercise control over her inner hollow and tame her powers. When he found she had a talent for Kido, Hachigen Ushoda attempted to train her in using his barrier techniques. While largely successful Yuka’s aim was still very defensive and she couldn’t move barriers the same way that Hachigen could though she picked up more than a few useful tricks in her time there. After learning all this and before it was time to engage in the Winter War she left Karakura to places unknown.
She traveled for a long time eliminating hollow as she went and saving lives. She was no shinigami but she wouldn’t leave someone in need where she saw aid was necessary. Meanwhile her inner hollow still attempted to control her from time to time. When it became too much to bear she retreated into the mountains and the frigid cold where no one would find her. There she spent her time battling her inner hollow into submission and learning to utilize her zanpakuto to its fullest potential. When she felt ready she left the mountains and walked into a desert training there as well in order to work in an environment that would hinder her natural powers and therefore force her to become stronger. Though she did not quite reach her goal she learned to function in environments with low moisture after which she sought to return to Karakura.
She arrived at the end of the Winter War engaging in brief conversation with her old friends before they returned to Soul Society leaving her in the World of the Living. Though they’d requested that she join them she’d rejected the offer. She felt she couldn’t find what she was looking for where they were going. A year into her stay in Karakura she encountered a man by the name of Umehara Yamada. She’d been thinking of starting a group of Visored, a home for those who didn’t know how to control their powers and Umehara seemed inclined to the idea as well. They established the Visored in the Warehouse like their predecessors and over time gathered together those who needed their aid. To this day Yuka watches over the warehouse and her new Visored family. Although she appears to be searching for something...
