Appearance: Alter is easily one of the most tallest captains, dwarfing most other captains in comparison. He haves light skin complexion, black, short hair, and blue eyes. He wears a long sleeve Shinigami uniform, a white sash, Captain's hoari on his back, and long, baggy, hakama pants that covers his feet. He also has the usual Shinigami sandals and socks. Occasionally, his eyes turn red and leave a trail of red light whenever he is into his fight.
Personality: Alter is considered to be one of the most aggressive, if not the most aggressive, Shinigami out there. He has a constant love for battle and a strong blood lust. He will not stop at anything to defeat his opponents, going as far as to resort to self mutilation and damaging in order to get to his opponent. Aside from from this, he is mostly a quiet individual who keeps to himself and helps others, specifically, potential rivals and "victims". At times, he can be biased towards females, never really using his full power against them because he believes women are fragile, which can sometimes disturb him, interestingly, he has no problems with any female Shinigami in his division and treats them equally. Alter is a sympathetic and empathic person, and seems to have a constant tugging in his heart...

Grandmaster Swordsmanship: Alter's swordsmanship is so incredible that he was given the title "Bloody Maelstrom" due to his fighting style and the way he massacred dozens of Quincy soldiers, Sternritters, and Arrancars during the Akuma Senjou war, which took place in his home universe.
• Megami kara no keishō (女神からの継承, Japanese for "Inherit From the Goddess") is a powerful mass-scale destruction technique used exclusively by Alter. The technique begins with Alter slashing at the ground and the ground starts shaking uncontrollably, then the ground appears to liquify and form into a whirlpool, into a large, destructive maelstrom that engulfs all nearby. It has a strong vacuuming force, it sucks in even the clouds, air, and spiritual reishi around it. If the victim is pulled inside and manages not to get crushed under the pressure of the "water", they will be cut up by multiple spikes towards the deeper end of the "hole". After Alter is done, he stops the technique, causing a large pillar of energy to emit from the hole and pierce the sky. This technique can only be done on Alter's "full" power. This technique temporarily leaves him fatigued, decreases his physical strength, and lowers his defense. This technique cannot be used in rapid success. If used in Shikai or Bankai, he will not suffer the side effects but cannot use it in rapid success, still.
• Joō no Kanashimi (女王の悲しみ, Japanese for "Grief of the Queen" lit. "Queen of Grief") is a technique where Alter spins his sword to get motion then charges at his opponent full speed, then slashes at them vertically down, causing a fissure, the fissure then erupts in a energy of Reiatsu, with the intended action being that the opponent jumps back to dodge his charge.
Alternatively, he can use the fissure part right after a successful parry.
Advanced Strength: Alter is without a doubt, one of the physically strongest captains, capable of fighting with or without his sword to the same degree he would with it. He was able to overwhelm multiple colossal sized hollows with his strength, and break down buildings with a single punch. He can wield his sword(s), effortlessly and swing them around quickly, despite them being around 100 pounds each. His most notable trait, is his strength.
Shunpo Practitioner: Despite his size, he is has some skill at Shunpo, not to the same degree as others but is still faster than most Shinigami officers. His Shunpo is not exactly the best, having a title of being one of the slowest Captains. He makes up for his speed with his teleportation. He rarely uses Shunpo, due to the his massive weight and total weight of his weapons. In Shikai or Bankai, his ability to use Shunpo is gone/dramatically decreases due to his massive weight increase. He relies on Teleportation instead.
Teleportation: A ability unique to Alter is his ability to teleport short to mid distances. According to Takeo himself, if he had a better skill in Shunpo, his skill in Teleportation would significantly increase, to the point where he may be able to teleport anywhere, no matter the distance. When he teleports, he leaves a black cloud behind, and a black cloud emerges just before he arrives to the other end.

Name: Yami no Megami (闇の女神, Japanese for "Goddess of Darkness")

Personality: Much like Alter's usual self, she is quiet, calm, collective, and very analytical, able to see past Alter's shrouded barriers. She is vengeful and wants Alter to go back to the "way" he was "before." She is also mad at Alter for being sad, something that has changed their inner world in to a undecipherable mess.

Inner World: Currently this. Interestingly, Megami claims that she dislikes how the world is in ancient ruins, claiming she wants it back in its original state before being "corrupted."
Sealed Form
Appearance: In sealed form, Alter's zanpakuto is a heavy Odachi that is incredibly sharp as it is long. The tsuba is square and hows a skull face on the upper end, the wrapping around his sword is dark purple, and the butt of his Zanpakuto is golden.

Abilities:
• Increase in strength
• Manipulation of his own blood
Attacks:
• He's blood spirals around him and spreads outwards in a hurry, effectively pushing back anything near him.
• He makes a fist and throws a projectile of blood towards his enemies.
• His veins and blood wither around which ever arm he gutted open, the veins are then shot out towards a direction and when they make contact, it sticks to what ever surface it touched. Alter then pushes a excessive amount of spiritual pressure into his vein, causing a "knot" towards the tip of his vein. Once Alter rips the vein out, the tip violently explodes.
• His blood will "consume" his sword, giving it a red-ish aurora. For the next five swings, his blade will throw a wave of blood.
• Forms a temporary replacement sword in case his Shikai version breaks. This can potentially damage Alter greatly as it requires a lot of blood.
• Akuma no Seishin (悪魔の精神, Japanese for "Demon's Soul" lit "The Mind of The Devil") He uses this to slowly replace all his lost blood. He cannot move during its duration and completely powerless and defenseless while using it. He can, however, cancel at any time he wants.
• He rips the skin in his arms, and releases a dense fog of his blood. This fog is infused with Reiatsu, making it impossible to sense anything or see the Reiatsu of anyone inside, even for Alter.

Pre-Shinigami Life

During his time before becoming a Shinigami, he was mentored and raised by the previous Kenpachi of his universe. Training from a kid to a adult the art of swordsmanship. Like his previous successor, he wielded and utilized the unique fighting style of Twin Great Blades, being the second Shinigami ever to use this style, and the first Shinigami to specialize and master it. After he inevitably grew stronger, he slain his former guardian in front of seven-hundred soldiers, becoming the next Kenpachi.

Pre-Akuma Senjou War
____
During some unknown time after he became Kenpachi of the 11th division, he learned both Shikai and Bankai, with his Zanpakuto easily becoming one of the most gruesome ones due to the fact that self-mutilation was necessary in order to utilize its abilities. He also met a girl from the Kuchiki Royal Family, Isleset Kuchiki. Isleset initially dislikes Alter, but eventually opens up to Alter when he follows her around and protects her from her family's harsh ways. She then reveals a prophecy to Alter, that a item that was created by the gods and emotions of all living creatures, was lost. The ancient item that was believed to be a tome, had the ability to see in to the future and cause miracles, cure the infected, give the blind sight, allow cripples to dance, and bring absolute peace and happiness.
Alter tells her its a stupid prophecy and that the Shinigami shouldn't kill themselves over it. Alter would later be present when the Arrancar's invade.

First Akuma Senjou War
____
When the first war starts, the Rukongai is bombed in six areas, six Espadas with immense spiritual pressure that were led by the Hueco Mundo Queen, Fadia Vanquirden. Alter is bewildered and wonders when exactly did they arrive, no one has sensed their spiritual pressure until now. Alter inevitably fights with the strong Espadas. Unlike the other Espadas who are fighting multiple opponents, Alter faces one by himself. Daniela, a child-like Espada who is from the ancient times of darkness, no doubt one of the stronger ones.
He fights with her but she continually proves to be too much for him to handle while in her Resurreccion, as he cannot get near her without being damaged by her black thorns. Alter ends the fight using Bankai and manages to cut a path to Daniela and pierce through her abdomen and bisect her from the stomach up. Alter realizes Isleset saw the entire fight and is crying. Alter ensures her that its necessary in order to protect everyone. Alter than escorts Isleset to the Seireitei.

Lost Captains
____
The war was finished, the Shinigami had won but the captain of the third and eight division had died in battle. Alter, temporarily depressed, is taunted by Daniela in his memories. Alter decides he is far too weak and decides to do something about it. He breaks into the Department of Research and Development and barely makes it to the top secret files unharmed. He learns of the Hogkyoku and realizes it has been sealed away in Muken, realizing this was the only way he can become more powerful, he starts contemplating his plans to enter Muken.
He goes to Isleset in the Kuchiki manner and finds her stricken with grief at the prior events. Alter comforts her and promises her that he will stop all of the blood shed.

Soul Society Destroyed
____
Years later, Alter has came up with the perfect way to steal the Hogkyoku, he waits for the inevitable Second Akuma Senjou war where he will then steal it while the attention of the Shinigami are drawn towards the Arrancars. Alter moved into the Kuchiki house with Isleset, despite her parent's instant dislike of him, having befriended Isleset. Alter and multiple other captains sense a immense spiritual pressure and see a colossal sized golem of stone approaching the Seireitei. Immediately, Alter sets out to battle with the immense creature but is stopped by Isleset who claims she knows something but when question, changes her mind and stood quiet. Alter, unable to afford the time to wait for her to speak up, apologizes and runs off. He and the captain of the 4th division, 10th division, and 2th division take on the creature.
Alter and the other three Captains eventually overwhelm the creature and slays it, however, when they return, they see groups of Sternritters attacking the Seireitei. Horrified, Alter defeats Sternritter "J" and Sternritter "P", and runs into the Kuchiki manor. He finds it in ruins and is unable to find Isleset or her relatives. In his rage, he uses his full power of Bankai, and kills five Sternritters, just as he was about to kill the sixth, a immense army of hollows fly to the Seireitei from the Garganta in the skies, with Fadia Vanquirden leading the assault. Alter is then faced with seven more Sternritters and is forced to flee, watching the entire Gotei 13 crumble to dust. He runs far off into district 91 where he finds a injured Isleset. He immediately takes her to a safe place far away from the Gotei 13 and passes out.

Ruins
____
Having suffered a coma, Alter awakens to see his wounds treated, he finds Isleset outside, who informs him he had been in a coma for two years. Alter is devastated and asks what happened to the Gotei 13, Isleset silently stares at him with sorrow and finally breaks the tension by saying that Alter may be the only survivor. Stricken with more grief, he breaks down and realizes how powerless he is. He tells Isleset of his quest to become stronger, he tells her that he must find the Hogkyoku in order to become the one who will protect everyone. Isleset stays quiet and looks away, but Alter gets up and puts his Shinigami uniform on.
He smears blood on his hands to the back of his haori, "ichi", number one. He runs out to find the Hogkyoku but Isleset warns him that Quincies and Arrancars are still in the area. Alter, on his way to the ruins of the Seireitei, sees multiple districts destroyed and vandalized, millions of dead bodies, residents, Quincies, and Hollows. He gets to the Seireitei and finds it destroyed, the walls of the Seireitei collapsed, the buildings destroyed and the mountain of the execution blown off. He runs up to the baracks of squad one is devastated by the sight in front of him.
The Captain-Commander and his lieutenant lay dead and nailed into the walls, with obvious mutilations on their deceased bodies. Alter is then taunted by the voice of Daniela again who claims he is too weak, Alter temporarily loses his mind and finds himself in complete darkness until he sees a light. Alter runs to the light and sees a orb, when he reaches out for it, it shines so bright that Alter is blinded. Alter realizes that the Hogkyoku is calling out to him and immediately enters into the lowest level. Muken.
He travels for what seems like forever before he sees the Hogkyoku. When he touches it, he feels overwhelmed and finally sees light. Alter is then encountered by Jwach Lichtmen, the leader of the Quincies, and is attacked. Alter flees, in no condition to fight but haves his left arm and right hip blown off by Jwach, Alter feebly manages to get away from the self-named god of Quincies, and runs off to the squad barracks. Almost instantly, the Hogkyoku starts shining brightly, Alter then feels intense pain before his vision blacks out.

The Dark Robes
____
Alter, shocked, opens his eyes and looks around, he sees the same tent as before and sees Isleset. He asks her what happens and she replies that a bright light came from the sky and Alter emerged from it, unconscious. She points to the small crater Alter left. Alter realizes he doesn't have the Hogyoku with him and looks around for it and slams his fist on the ground when he doesn't find it. Isleset plainly tells him that they need to leave, as the Quincies and Arracars are battling it out for control of the Soul Society.
She introduces Alter to Naveen, a old women who is wearing a black robe and holds a crystal ball. She instantly recognizes Alter and calls him the "Black Shadow." Alter asks her what she means about this be she responds that with time, Alter will gain his answer. Alter then looks up and see a huge Garganta in the sky again, with millions of hollows pouring out, and multiple cross-shaped pillars protruding from where the Seireitei used to be. Naveen tells them they must leave now while they still have a chance to avoid them.
Alter is obviously frustrated he cannot do anything and follows Naveen to a unknown location. They arrive at a cave and see seven other people who are also wearing black robes similar to Naveen's. They all recognize Isleset and Alter. Naveen tells them that she has brought the "Black Shadow" and the "Fated One" with her in order to push destiny forward in its direction. Alter and Isleset take shelter before Isleset looks away, barely looking at Alter.
Alter than asks her about that Golem when she didn't respond. Isleset doesn't say anything and Alter repeats his question. Isleset starts crying and runs off but Alter is unable to follow her with the current wounds he haves. Right on cue, and energetic young man in black robes enters the room, he removes Alter's wrappings and heals his wounds using some form of advanced healing, his arm came back and his right hip was back. Alter asks the man his name, the man smiles at Alter and tells him his name is Nuarte, and he leaves before Alter can question him further.
Alter feels something in his chest, it starts to burn but he figures sleeping is good enough.

The Final Akuma Senjou War
____
It has been seven years since Alter met Naveen, since he met the Dark Robes. Alter, fully healed and better than never decided he will no longer stay put. Naveen warns him he will not see the path of light if he continues through this direction. Alter ignores her and runs toward the Seireitei to conclude his final journey, with or without the Hogkyoku. Unaware, he is being followed by the Dark Robes, Alter threatens them not to get in his way, Nuarte responds by telling Alter to shut up, as they were there to assist Alter.
When they made it to the Soul Society, Alter finds 19 Sternritters, thousands of Soldat's, seven Espadas, and thousands of hollows. Alter uses his Bankai and effortlessly cuts through the ocean of enemies, a giant ball of fire flies at Alter's direction but Nuarte goes in front of him and absorbs the blast, smiling at Alter, telling him to go on ahead. Nuarte then faces off against two Sternritters(C and H) and two Espadas. Alter cuts through Sternritter F, as he makes his way to the God and Queen who formed a temporary alliance. Sellises, another Dark Robe member, uses a black lightning to clear the path ahead of Alter and urges him to go on quickly.
Just then, a large hollow dragon appears and attacks Alter but is stopped by the other four members of Dark Robe who then face off against the dragon now. Alter makes it to the throne and finds Fadia and Jwach, he then engages in the final battle.

The Final Bloodshed
____
Alter engages in combat with the two, Fadia uses a fire ball and throws it at Alter, Alter barely dodges but is shot in the abdomen by Jwach, a small hole is in his stomach but he then uses "Saishū Teki Na Supia", his strongest attack and severely damages Jwach and Fadia, both then release. Fadia uses her Resurreccion and becomes a skeleton-like black shadow with red eyes. Jwach uses Vollstandig and gains holy wings of pure Reishii with a six-pointed crown of reishii. His weapon is a Odachi of Reishii. Alter is inevitably overwhelmed and defeated, with his entire chest blown off.
He hears the screams of Isleset in his mind, he feels a intense aurora and when his Shinigami haori and shirt burn off, the Hogkyoku appears in Alter's chest as it glows brightly. A pillar of white light envelops him as he levitates, all his wounds are healed and he has a armor of pure white and multiple white feathers fly around him form his aurora. He gains a single weapon, a spear of light. Jwach, betrays Fadia and absorbs her using Sklaverei, gaining this new power, he fights on par with Alter. Nuarte, Naveen, Sellises, and the other members of the Dark Robe watch Alter fight and cheer him on.
Alter uses his spear and throws it at Jwach, completely piercing him in the heart and finally killing him. At a silent moment, a bright light completely absorbs the sky and envelops everything. It was done, the battle was over. He smiled as his victory emerged. Unfortunately, Isleset got hurt, she followed Alter and was harmed by the spiritual pressures of Fadia and Jwach. Alter immediately calls Nuarte but he does not respond, his usual happy smile is gone.
Naveen teleports them back to the cave but Alter asks them why didn't they help. Naveen explains to Alter that they need him alive in order to keep balance in the world since he is the only Shinigami alive now, since the Royal Guards are unable to do the job themselves, and with Alter's near omnipotent abilities, it all depends on Alter to keep balance. The barrier she has up is a anti-reality barrier, she explains it is Alter's fate to die, and that staying inside will assure his life. Alter, with his new power, easily escapes and in minutes, finds Isleset. He starts crying when he is unable to save her, she reveals that everything that has occurred is her fault.
She had another Hogkyoku with her, in her chest, the closer Alter got, the brighter it shined. She revealed her Hogkyoku created all Hollows, Humans, Shinigami, and all other creatures, and it specifically designed destiny to have all this occur. Alter is devastated at the news, she goes on to say that she could of changed destiny whenever she wanted but didn't want to lose Alter in the process, as doing so will have erased Alter and many others from existence. Alter realizes the only way to save her... is to die. He sees her Hogkyoku and rips it out, and performs a variant of kon-soul on her, his body starts rejecting the process, harming him and causing immense pain, he ignores it until his Hogkyoku cracks and breaks.
Another pillar of light surrounds them, a endless rain of white feathers as the sun hits them exclusively, Isleset absorbs all of the souls and energy of Alter's Hogkyoku and begins to transform as Alter stood over her, his single tear hitting her face. Finally, she emerges from the light and catches Alter as he fell down on her shoulder, dying. She grew white wings, as Alter passed and died, she shed a tear of her own, as she promised she will change everything, and declares as the Soul Queen, she will change destiny and history for everyone if she will stop existing. Suddenly, the clouds cleared and the white light coming from the skies consumed everything. The "tome" she spoke of was actually Alter who has done what the prophecy foretold, Alter is the tome for he has changed destiny.

When all of the worlds evils has gone and left, when all else is gone, there will be a light that will change the world. The ancient tome that was created by the gods, have the ability to change destiny, but when that tome is lost, millions of years later, the white hero will find the tome and change the world.

True Prophecy
____
When all of the world is consumed in evil, when everything is hopeless and only the path of darkness is seen, there will be a Tome who touches the Fated One, the Tome will discard its Black Shadow and will become the infinitely bright light that will consume the world in light without a shadow and change destiny.

The Aftermath
____
Alter had opened his eyes, awakes from bed, he has no memory of anything, almost as if he suffered amnesia. He looked around and saw the Captain-Commander greeting him, he felt like he just recovered from the worst nightmare ever. He got up and looked out the window, when he looked over and saw a picture of a girl. By the looks of her outfit, she was from the Kuchiki clan. Alter couldn't recognize her, but for some reason, his heart started melting when he saw the picture, its almost as if someone he once loved deeply was ripped away from him.
He decided it was best to get some fresh air and goes to his barracks. Oddly enough, the walk from the medical barracks to his barracks were satisfying, he looked up at the sun and saw a white feather falling, he grabbed it and inspected it. It made him feel contempt and happy, he simply kept walking.

Alter is now awake and he was still the Kenpachi of 11th division. He is now aware of the problems that he momentarily forgot and looks forward to continuing his training.
