Devin looked around, seeming to have little energy left. "I think we're lost again..." He said, taking a seat on the ledge of the fountain. He had a guide book in hand, but between himself and Tera, it wasn't of much use. "Any idea what we should do...?" He looked to his friend. "We should probably look for those stores with pokemon supplies and contest stuff, but I think looking for them would get us more lost... Sorry..." He sighed, taking the whole of the blame for their disoriented state at the moment. Skitty didn't seem to mind; the more they wondered, the more the little pokemon got the chance to investigate this new world it had been brought to. "What do we need for contests, anyway? On T.V., sometimes I see trainers are dressed up, but sometimes not. And sometimes the pokeball lets out confetti or flowers... Do we need any of that?"
Tera walked along side Devin with Flint on top of her head and Flora on her right shoulder. Her friend seemed a little disheartened and tired as he sat on the fountain’s ledge. She wasn’t tired in the least and was rather enjoying the town’s beautiful scenery. She gave him the most confused look when he apologized for them being lost. Unlike being lost during school hours which might cause her to be late for classes and punishments, getting lost during her free time meant the possibility of exploring new places and adventure. "Dude, why you apologizing? No harm done in an unexpected detour! I say we walk around idly. We’re bound to find it eventually, right? I mean how big could this town be?" An ice cream cart passing by caught the pink-haired female’s attention making her stomach grumble. "Be back in a minute!" She awkwardly came back walking trying to balance her Pokemon and the four ice cream cones, two in each hand and poked Devin's nose before handing two of them to him to help lighten his mood. "You should be like ya Skitty here and look around. Isn't this place beautiful?" she said while nodding confidently. Setting one of the cones inbetween her small Pokemon to split amongst each other, the two began to curiously nibble at the new found food. She then sat beside him as he asked her what they would need for contests. "Hmm... I think it would have to depend on what your performance is based on... Though you'll probably be doing something musically inclined, right? I mean you're so freaking amazing at it. But I guess we'll probably find out when we find that store huh?" she said with a carefree laugh, not even sure if they ever would find the store, making a tired Flint to sigh at her irresponsibility.

Devin smiled up at his friend. She seemed to be the optimist between them; and that was probably for the better. He sort of just felt happy around her; not like when he was with his brother or at their prior school. It was a welcome feeling, a different one. "I guess so," He said as he took the cones of icecream and beckoned skitty to come. "This place doesn't look bad, but I don't know if I think it's beautiful..." He finally said after some silent eating. He was from Venice, a city of art and love, so the town here just looked like a town to him. Though, he spent more time either on his piano or cello than he did actually getting to know his city. "I still want to do more though... For that class. I never knew just how inspiring pokemon could really be, how beautiful they really were, until I watched them on that stage. So I want to do better, and see more inspiring acts. That makes me a little strange, doesn't it?" He smiled at her, finishing off his cone. "But that's how I feel. And I can't help that..." He looked down, seeing skitty's face. It was a mess with icecream, and was spending more time now to clean itself than to finish what it was eating.

Tera’s already present smile turned into a big grin as he spoke about what he wanted to achieve in the con "Not at all! You got drive! My dad says that motivation is what gets you started for success. No wait... Did he say that or did I hear that on T.V.? Maybe on the radio? Yabe! I’m rambling again..." She paused and flushed bright red, highlighting her pink hair as she rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. After moments of trying to recover, she began speaking again"I’m a little envious of ya even... Most of the time I don’t even know what I want.." she said with a dry laugh. She got up from the fountain's ledge to try to hide her face from him. "Anyway, we should get going!"
While they were talking, Flint stopped eating the cone due to feeling unexpectedly cold resulting in her Oddish gleefully finishing the rest of it. Flora then noticed that Skitty was a messy eater and felt the sudden urge to help as Skitty cleaned itself. She motioned the feline pokemon to wait for a bit with her leaves. The grass type went into Tera's bag when she wasn't looking, took a pink handkerchief with purple stripes and loosely tied it around Skitty, but not before wiping the pink Pokemon's face with the edge the handkerchief.

Lél managed a good part of the morning, following the events by the worn out and ancient oak tree in the woods, searching through town for breaking tools. for Vern's pony pokemon. He was lucky enough to find a used wears store where forgotten equipment from past hobbyists, students, and trainers had sold off everything for a quick handful of currency. He found a lung line, thick like anchoring rope; perfect for a rowdy, fire snorting, ponyta (it wouldn't burn through quickly. It might be hard for Vern's dainty hands, but it might not be a problem once it learned to work and obey--he wasn't about to send in a small sized boy with a flame charging horse! And luck continued when he found a cheap lunging whip. A five foot stick and nearly seven feet of dropped rope--perfect to give distance on the thirty foot rope! Both pieces were worn, of coarse, but he only needed it to last a month at most. The cashier rang it up at sixty-seven sevinty-seven. A lot of talking, haggling, and pointing out the condition dropped in to an even fourty. A good deal anywhere!
But looking at the halters... there really wasn't one fit for ponyta or rapidash. Either they were too valuable to sell off, or passed to friends and family who needed it next. He'd have to make his own with that... Something metal so it wouldn't burn off. That might work. It was off to a hardware store, for lengths of braided chain, and metal loops that he'd have to stretch and tie and melt to hold together. A leash-hook was needed next, but it didn't seem like anyone had that as a stand alone piece. It'd have to be bought as a pet leash and taken off... It became clear to him that he'd have to take up work to afford the whole thing. Except... there wasn't anything in modern towns like Adell he was particularly good at doing. Tired, he sat on the town fountain, trying to figure out what to do next.
Fairly quiet and cool today. Just in Taku's comfort zone. It was a little tough for Taku to wake up this morning considering his heavy training regimen the night before. But Kazuma woke him up upon hearing that Ralts were among the most commonly seen pokemon today. Seeing as Altair started as a Ralts, he saw no problem in helping his younger brother catch one. After giving him a little bit of advice in catching the pokemon, Kazu had to rush off to class. Taku spent the rest of his time wandering the town, trying to keep his mind clear of his past for a while. At times he heard the voice again and tried to find it but had no luck. But now he had arrived here at the fountain, where Fliskile and Altair simply stood beside Taku. Torch remained in his pokeball but Inugami and Vectara came out to enjoy the water and sunshine. There was still a slight bit of fog left, but it didn't bother the group.
As Taku relaxed and got some food for himself and his pokemon, he caught the voice of his mother approaching. When she came up, they hugged each other in greeting, Machiko standing and watching the water of the fountain. "Enjoying a day out, Takumoto?" Taku hesitated to respond for a moment before he nodded. "More like keeping my head clear." "Still having trouble?" Taku sighed before he continued. "It's hard to deal with my own mistakes over two years. I was gone for about five. In those last couple of years I helped to hurt, kill and destroy many around the world. Our ancestors are probably turning in their graves right now at the mere thought of it." Machiko gave a concerned look to Taku, not quite sure what to say. "But you are still a guardian. You remain here after making your mistakes to try and make things right. The Great Guardian himself would smile at that." "And the fact that my own orders to my 'comrades' got a small child killed? What about my own blade tasting the blood of an old man?"
"Takumoto, enough..." Taku fell silent, still staring into the waters at the base of the fountain, seeing a heavily distorted reflection in the moving waters. "The fact you're alive and have realized your mistakes makes me happy. You saw us waiting for you when you finally returned. Whatever everyone else thinks of you, you still have your family to return to." Taku remained silent, thinking over his mothers words. "Thank you, mother. But it's my mistakes and the results of my choices. It's my responsibility to take. If I ever get to finally being finished with making things right, then I can finally give it a rest. Until then, I need to work on it myself." Machiko simply sighed at his response. "You always were a stubborn one, Takumoto. Just don't hesitate to accept any help or even ask for it. You're still human, Takumoto."
Taku nodded, letting another moment of silence pass. "Are the girls still at the house?" "Yes. They're studying some of the material we brought with us." "That's good. Maybe later today Kazuma and I will come by to visit." "I'd like that, Takumoto. I"m sure Rei and Rie will be excited to see you two." For a while, they sat there, talking about his studies, making sure he still remembered what he studied before and convincing Taku to call his father later on in the day. But soon, one of her old childhood friends appeared and they went off, leaving Taku to think over the conversation. The whole time, Inugami slept peacefully on the ledge of the fountain and Vectara enjoyed some of the water and more of the sunshine, eventually going over to play with some of the local pokemon. Fliskile and Altair just stood and enjoyed the city vibe that came about. Fliskile was able to see the aura of most nearby people, seeing a lot of happy and joyful. A few he could spot as sort of neutral in emotion and others sort of trudging along, either from annoyance or irritation. Either way, it was still nice to be here and as long as Taku remained calm, they didn't need to worry about much.
Athena walked along the sides of the fountain impatiently, her daughter joining her with her little arms spread out wide to help keep her balance. They were meeting some rather important people there, and those two happened to be driving Athena nuts with their tardiness!
"Mama?"
”Yes little one?”
"When are they getting here?"
"They're just lost, they've never been to Phior before, so they don't know the way."
"Is daddy and auntie Haley gonna be with them?"
"I'm sorry, Tabitha, but they won't be joining us today." She sighed, missing her bestfriend and husband just as much as her daughter did. "Daddy and Auntie are still at the Orange Islands. But don't worry, you'll see daddy again in just a few weeks, then you get to join him there for the rest of the year."
From behind her, Tabby's voice perked up a bit. "Are you coming back with me~?"
"Undskyld ... min kærlighed. (I'm sorry, my love.)"
"Det er i orden (It's alright)..." Like mother like daughter, the two continued to walk atop the fountain. For Athena, it was out of boredom; for Tabby it was because she thought it was fun to try and balance herself perfectly in imitation of her mother.
Outside of his pokeball, was Luxray. He was sleeping again, having just recently discharged his morning electrical build-up through the first of the day's training routines, the large beast was tired. It was a common sight to witness Luxray sleeping when he wasn't being put through the strict and challenging training regimes that he and his fellow teammates were put through by their trainer. Luuuuuuuuuxraaaayyyyyyy... He rumbled, sleeping peacefully while the two females played around on the fountain.
"Yo! Saff! How are ya'!?" Saff? Through Athena's partial amnesia, she only vaguely remembered being called that a long, long time ago... A blur of a memory, the time before she ran away and changed her name. "Oh, sorry, I mean Athena."
"Grandma! Grandpa!" Little Tabby jumped down from the fountain rim and ran over to an older couple, a Caucasian man and woman. The man had greying black hair with bright blue-grey eyes and the woman had long black hair with bright green eyes, each with a warm, friendly, and familiar smile. In Athena's personal timeline, it'd been many, many, many years since the last time she'd seen Damian's parents, but maybe in this alternate timeline it was a different story...?
"How's my favorite daughter-in-law?" Beside Tyler and Jessica Lyon, a Beldum floated.
Lacus wandered around the town of Adell aimlessly with her Jigglypuff Mr. Pink. She had no idea what to do. It seemed everyone was getting ready for the field trip next week or for Halloween tomorrow. Luckily Lacus had finished getting her supplies as far as she knew and her costume so her now free time was kind of pointless. “What are we going to do Mr. Pink?” she asked her pink puff pokemon. “Jiggly?”(I don’t know.) He replied a confused expression on his face. “Don’t worry Mr. Pink we’ll think of something… ” Lacus assured him as they came upon the water fountain.
Taking out a pokeball Lacus released her Finnion Teal into the water before taking a seat at the edge of the fountain. She watched as the fish pokemon swam around in the water without a care in the world. A smile appeared on her face as she thought about what she could possible do or if she happened to be missing anything for her trip. ‘Maybe I could use some more healing items for burns, or paralysis… or something like that…’ she thought. ‘Or I could just go into the woods go looking for some berries for that sort of thing…’ she continued to think of what to do but sadly the possibilities were endless. If only she had someone to hang with maybe then her decision would be easier.
