Lél
[[from auditorium]]
Lél walked through the wild. The silent of the air and the crack of leaves and dry twigs underfoot finally relaxed him enough to breath again. Finally, he could just listen. And finally, he could back to training himself and his pokemon. "Tas, Miksa," He let out his fire types. A trim and slim growlith in its sleek summer coat, and a large and thick ponyta--big enough for even Lel to ride endlessly. They were both muscular and fully fit. It wasn't surprising if anyone knew that the trio spent more time living outdoors in the harshness of Hungary. He'd miss those camp nights, being outside for sometimes weeks at a time before finally coming home. For now, however, he'd have to tolerate nights and days inside and away from the wild. Still, he couldn't help the need for someone to challenge him. If size alone intimidated everyone around him, then this little journey was probably the most expensive mistake he'd made. There was one who stood out. Though, he wasn't sure if the boy understood his challenge. This place wasn't the same as his home. It was harder to read through, and "men" were far and few. Boys were plentiful. Girls, even more so.

The announcements were over and Kazu's message was given to his older brother. All he had to do was wait out here for Taku to arrive. Taku himself was a little confused at the random Oshawott appearing to him while the teachers introduced themselves. Taku came through the trees until he saw his brother. He approached slowly, not sure what to really say or do. Hello, Kazu... I wasn't aware you were attending school here now... Kazu simply smiled, moving forward until the two brothers hugged, having not seen each other in over a month since Taku visited the family home. But Kazu smiled, knowing Taku was still having troubles with himself. Well I couldn't just leave my older brother to be the only one enjoying the world. Besides, I caught Araquo, here. So I may as well learn to be a proper trainer. And aside from the school teachers, I have you to learn from as well.
Taku looked away for a moment. Honestly, I won't be able to teach you anything in terms of battles. In fact, I'm more or less just additional security and an extra helping hand here. Kazu huffed a little in annoyance. Brother, I know it's not easy, the kind of things going through you're head. But you saw mother and father when you came home. They didn't think any less of you. Taku shook his head. It's not them or our sisters I'm worried about... You don't kill that many people without some kind of issue going on. If you don't feel some kind of remorse or guilt, then you'd be about as bad as the Bellemontes... Hearing the screams of the people I've struck down, the cries of pain from my "comrades" as they were shot by resisting people. The people I've captured and imprisoned only to be tortured by others like Virgil or Zidane... It's not-Taku! I get it... You don't like what you did and I understand. But please try to understand that we don't want you to do anything rash or harmful to others or even yourself... It won't help anything...
After a moment of silence, Taku nodded. You're right... I'm sorry... Kazu smiled as Araquo approached his trainer's older brother cautiously. If it helps, mother is coming down with Rei and Rie in about a month or two to see you. I already sent a message to them after the announcements. Our little sisters still miss you. And besides, don't you think they'd be glad to see some of the world for once? I mean, all they do is stay at home and study and archive with mother all day.True... I suppose it would be nice to see them again...There we go... That's the older brother I know and love... About then, Araquo jumped and gave Taku a reassuring pat on the back, though it was a little hard and sent Taku face first into the ground. All Araquo did was jump in joy, though Kazu started laughing. Seems Araquo likes you. Taku spoke into the dirt his face was basically buried in. Yes, it's nice to meet you too, Araquo... Kazu helped him up before Araquo ran off.
Araquo! Get back here! He and Taku chased the young Oshawott through the woods until they came across a man with a Growlithe and a Ponyta. Interesting. Araquo was already busy running up to the Growlithe and speaking to it, trying to have a conversation before Kazu picked him up, though Aqraquo started struggling in wanting to get back down to talk, not realizing he was causing trouble for the Yamamoto brothers. I'm sorry about that... I'm still trying to keep him under control...

Lél
Lél stopped everything when an odd pokemon came charging up. At first, he was sure the little thing was looking for a fight. A battle. And he would have gladly engaged it. He was always looking for a fighter. "Miksa--" He had to halt on his commands when the oshawott's trainer came up. He looked the two up and down, sizing them up first before listening to them. For a long time, he was silent. He took his time to think about what to do. "Battle." He said. And he meant it! "Trainer with no controll. Battle. Learns controll," His thick accent stuck out in his words, and he was serious about it. The best way to gain control was through practice; and Lel took training seriously. Anyone could tell just by looking at him, or by his choosing to take a second battle/training class. To Lel, brawn and honor were what mattered most. "Oshvot and Miksa." He set the battle up.

Seemed this man wanted a battle already. And based on his incredibly thick accent and few words, the brothers had a feeling about this guy. Taku stepped up, Kazu setting Araquo down. I will preside as an unofficial judge in this. But just so I know, what is your native language? Taku wanted to be sure. He knew Kazu could speak several languages with decent fluency. As he waited, Taku moved over to watch over the two.
Kazu looked at him, seeing he had two pokemon. Works for me. This is my only pokemon right now. Kazu wasn't sure how to go at this. This was basically his very first pokemon battle. Even Araquo seemed a bit nervous. But still, Kazu wasn't afraid of a new challenge. And if he remembered, water was strong against fire types. How bad could this be? Even if Kazu was inexperienced, he would at least do some decent damage here. After a nod to his brother, he and Araquo stood ready to fight.

Lél
Lél ignored Taku's question about his native language. A battle didn't need words except to issue a command. Talking to an opposing trainer wasn't something he was interested in, nor did he think it should be the focus of a battle. He stayed silent, aware of his type disadvantage, but more aware of how inexperienced his opponent was. Still, if he had potential, Lel might consider calling on him again for another fight. The best way to know that was to battle right now.
He waited for the signal to be given and start the battle. Once it was, Lel wouldn't sit idly by. "Miksa! Összeroppanó!" He called (Crunch). The growlith charged in quickly, teeth at the ready. It was the most common start it knew, mostly from all the hunts they went on. Miksa had to be quick and be ready; in deep snow, heavy rain, or dry summer, it had to be quick and be ready. It chomped down on the water type, growling as it did and thrashed its head about. It shook around the small water type, as it would a wild rabbit, and tossed it aside with a bark.

Taku didn't seem to care the man ignored him, but not like it mattered. His little brother was having his first battle and he was glad to be here to watch. Kazu watched the Growlithe coming in with what appeared to be Crunch. Araquo panicked and raised his scallop in defense, letting the hard shell take most of the upper jaw damage, though the lower jaw still hurt pretty bad. When he was finally released and tossed aside, Araquo became slightly dizzy but quickly shook it off. Commands in another language, huh? Fair enough. Araquo , Vodnyy sport! His command came in Russian for Water Sport, fairly fluent if anybody could actually speak it fluently and listened. But Kazu couldn't recognize Lel's language as Russian. Maybe Hungarian or Czech?
Doesn't matter. Araquo stood tall and started drenching himself in water, raising his fire resistance.Teper' vodyanoy pistolet! The command, still in Russian, called for Water Gun at the Growlithe, shooting a blast of water at the Growlithe. Kazu watched intently, ready to make his next call if he remembered how battles work. And from the studying he had at home, he was sure he had a decent idea.

Russian? That was a little surprising, but it grabbed Lél's attention. The kid had more control than either probably anticipated. Maybe oshawott would start becoming more serious. It made him smile. A good battle always made him smile. Bad or easy ones... not so much. When watergun was called, it was the very move Lél was bracing for with a water type. "Heat vave!" He translated his command. The counter was to fight water with fire. A stand off! And the result was a lot of steam. Steam and silence. "Miksa, flameveel!" The steam whipped around as a blazing growlith charged through head long into the oshawott. Not much damage, but a little bit was better than none. It looked like the water type's level was higher than originally thought.
The source of the noises echoing through the woods was made clear. From a distance, Holly caught sight of Lél once more, and another boy she hadn't yet met. Taku, a reformed member of Team Rocket, seemingly acted as judge to the contest. To be honest, it didn't bother her in the least that he'd been allowed to stay at Phoenix Academy. Lillith, who was once Team Shadow's de facto leader, made an excellent teacher! If he chose that he wanted to do good, who was Holly to say otherwise? She respected him for having the courage to mend his ways.
The teen girl stayed quiet, a little ways away from the battle as she watched. She didn't want to interrupt with her presence, though she doubted the two boys would put the sizzling battle to a halt, even if she had! In the meantime, she'd just stick around to enjoy the show. It was interesting to see Lél's Fire-type combat a Water-type – could he pull off a win? Or, would logic dictate the battle, and give the victory to this stranger? Holly grinned, and made herself comfortable leaning against a tree. Given the passion the two put into this battle, it wasn't ending anytime soon!

Lady Niara
Marco Sombra de Milagros
I'm back to the place where I matured...
Marco apologized to both Niara and little Iris when he had to leave them so that he could chase after the tall new student. He continued to stare at Marco during the ceremony so he could only guess that a challenge was in order. Marco didn't know his reasons for wanting to battle him, but maybe he would find out once he could reach this giant. He felt bad about leaving two of his favorite girls, but he promised to make it up to both of them. Hopefully, Niara and little Iris would go find their other friends and they could all have fun together.
After some time, Marco managed to track the giant student to the woods which was an odd place for a student to go. Normally most students, especially the new students, would go to their assigned dorms right after the ceremony. Marco intended to make his presence known, but he seemed to have missed his chance because another boy had approached the giant. The new boy was immediately challenged by the giant student and Marco's suspicions were proven correct; he did want a pokemon battle. The boy would be using an Oshawott while the giant would use a Growlithe. This was certainly an interesting match up and it quickly caught Marco's attention. The battle begun and both parties were starting out strong. Already the new students were engaging in battles and it made Marco feel like it was about time he joined a battle as well.
He wasn't the only audience to this battle, there was someone else who was captivated by the battle. Marco saw Holly, a familiar face, their friends were friends making them acquaintances, but this could be a chance for them to talk and become friends. Marco decided to make the first move by approaching the cotton hair girl. "The new students sure are pump to begin the school year," Marco began reaching the tree that Holly was leaning on, "makes you want to join them instead of being in the side lines, huh?"
Just passing through, the young blond found himself wondering through the woods of Adell. Bird pokemon flew through the trees, whistling and making their beautiful chirps, kricketune and Kricketot played their sweet melodies, occasionally a Chatot chattered, Pachirisu rustled some leaves, and Rattata ran about in search of food. At one point, he passed the river where he'd stopped to enjoy a peaceful hour of watching water-type pokemon swim around. There'd been some Magikarp -of course!-, Remoraid, Finneon, Goldeen, and even a Feebas once! It was indeed fascinating to see such a rare Pokémon swimming around in a river, and he found himself thoroughly enjoying just watching the unattractive fish just go about its daily business. It was such a peculiar thing, really, how such strange creatures would eventually evolve into the beautiful Milotic if given the chance. He also happened to notice, as he was sitting by the river only a short time ago, the rather large number of Bulbasaur running around. Of course, they too had been watched with great fascination. It was truly beautiful, nature; Jason found it to be such a shame that so many people seemed to take it for granted all the time. Naturally, he has his Ampharos, Thor, out with him through the whole experience, for he greatly enjoyed the company of his electric-type. Thor too, was interested in watching the Feebas and the Bulbasaurs, and even let one of the younger ones play with his luminous tail when it came up to him!
"Thor, sis talis kalós fílos. (Thor, you are such a good friend.)" Jason smiled and had told his Ampharos as he'd watched him play with the baby. "Etiem~! (Really!)" Naturally, Thor had nodded his agreement. But no longer were they by the river; instead the old pair of friends were choosing to follow the silence-breaking sound of a battle. The sound trail didn't lead them very far away, infact, within only a couple of minutes, Jason and his Ampharos found where the Pokémon battle was being held. Standing hiding amongst the trees, he watched the battle between the Oshawott and two fire types. It was interesting, how one boy was commanding his water type in Russian -while also conversing in English!- and the other was speaking in... Hun-grish? It was a mixture of the Hungarian language with some heavily accented English. Jason enjoyed listening to the battle!
A little off to another side of the battle, Jason couldn't help but spot a ball of cottonball hair also watching the battle... Oh wait! That was a girl! Whoops. She too, seemed to be enjoying the battle at hand, as well as another young man who came up to join her in the sidelines. Though the blond-haired man couldn't help but find all of their Pokémon so... Little~ It was cute, even, remembering how at one point, many years ago, he too had Pokémon as small and young as theirs. Thinking of way back then, he couldn't help but stroke the long neck of his Ampharos. "Thymámai c** essetis óti oi mikrés. (I remember when you were that small.)"
Holly turned to Marco. She never had many chances to talk to him, but he seemed to get along with most people well enough! He too seemed rather captivated by the battle, but Holly wasn't exactly in a position to judge him. He was right to assume Holly wanted to battle, too. A battle like that could get anyone itching for action! Holly had a sinking feeling she wasn't a good match for Marco, though. She'd heard he was an accomplished battler, and Holly lacked experience in actual combat. That aside, it seemed her classmate had Lel in mind for an opponent! It wouldn't be any good if she went and tuckered out his Pokemon before Marco got to Lel.
“You want to battle him, too?” Holly motioned towards the Hungarian student. She paused for a moment, and smiled. “He's actually not bad. He got rid of the Garbodor by the dumpsters earlier, and he's putting up a pretty good fight against that Oshawott.” She might even have to battle him, sometime! She wasn't sure she'd do too well, but it'd be fun anyways, right?
Holly overheard footsteps in the distance, and turned to find a man with an Ampharos. She grinned. "You've come to watch the battle, too?" He was dressed oddly, that much was for certain, but he looked nice! Why not say hello? She'd dealt with Team Rocket last year, after all! How bad could one stranger be? "Ah! Your Ampharos looks really good! I just caught a Mareep today - I hope it turns out like yours! She exclaimed. It looked strong - maybe even as strong as her teacher's! Having an Apmpharos would be amazing!

Heat wave? Why would he- Oh. Clever. He pondered in thought as he kept his eyes to where he last saw his Oshawott before the steam clouded the field. When Flame Wheel was called, both Kazu and Taku saw the glow of the flame on the Growlithe's body. When the impact was made, Kazu could see it but noticed it wasn't much done. Thank you Water Sport for reducing fire damage. Taku was more certain it actually raised the strength water type attacks. But in thinking about it, he realized it really just raised defenses against fire types. This made Taku smile at his little brother. Doing good there, Araquo? He nodded before turning back to the Growlithe. Good. Head in and use Water Gun again. Make sure to hit him with it good. Araquo started moving in, waiting until he was close enough to ensure the Water Gun would make contact before letting it off.
Kazu was starting to get excited. A couple of other kids showed up and even some stranger who Kazu could swear he'd seen somewhere before. But he shook it off and turned back to the battle. He wanted to attempt to make his first ever battle a victory, even considering type circumstances. Taku was happy to see his little brother's first battle and to see he was having fun with it. Though Taku still watched Lel, wondering how the foreigner would compensate for this kind of disadvantage.

To be honest, Jason hadn't even noticed the cottonball girl walk up to him when she suddenly greeted him out of the blue! "Annon-? (Huh?)" He asked, his brain not registering what language he'd just been addressed in. A whole two seconds later, he recognized the Germanic language, and took a whole third second more to process what accent it was in. No longer flustered, and in the clearest most perfect English, Jason responded without accent, "Oh well, hello there little miss. My apologies for being flustered, you caught me off-guard!" He bowed politely and respectfully to the cottonball. "Mmmm yes, Thor and I here were out in the woods when the lovely silence was broken by their noise-making, so we came to check it out. It's quite fascinating indeed, watching young trainers battle." She mentioned that she'd just caught a Mareep that day! Brothers in arms! Or... was it siblings in arms? Baw! Mareep-keteers! Nevertheless, he smiled widely, hearing that and how she hoped it would grow up to be like his. "I'm sure that one day that your Mareep will grow into a powerful Ampharos." He hugged Thor quickly, petting him again. "Thor here, I've had since I was very small. He's my bestfriend and life-long companion. I apologize for the prying, but I take it, you and the others here are students at the academy?" He was genuinely curious! Jason was a rather friendly sort, and he enjoyed talking to people!
Glancing back at the battle, somewhere in the crevices of Jason's memory he could've sworn he'd seen the Russian-speaking kid somewhere else before. But where? Baw, not like it mattered any!
Miksa took the brunt of the attack, being pushed around by water gun. It hit its mark, but Miksa's level kept it in game. It howled out as it was hit, and shook out the water doggishly when it found its feet again. "Összeroppanó!" Lel called. The fire type charged back through steam with that same fast pace and wide jaws to bite down to thrash its head. If fire wasn't going to help, pure jaw strength would. Years of long hiking trips shaped Lel's pokemon to be enduring and physically strong. Like before, it bit down and thrashed its head about. But just before it let go, Lel gave a second command "Összeroppanó." The growlith bit again, about to thrash when it heard its master's whistle, and dropped its opponent to go back. It was rewarded for its efforts with dried and salted meats, and a pat on its head. "Now, vee know two in row," He told it.
Standing again, he explained. "Vater pokemon need rest. Go to hospiitall now, no good." It was true. The first school day was tomorrow. Sending either pokemon to the infirmary or to nurse joy would be a waste, and a bad way to start off. To Lel, a battle didn't need to be complete for strength to be proven. He'd already made his point. And he decided to keep an eye on the boy in the future. "Vee battle again. Later," He said as he pulled out the cigarette from behind his ear and setting it between his lips. Again, he didn't light it, just letting it sit there.
It was only after that he noticed anyone else. It was that girl again. It looked like he had female shadows everywhere. And that boy he picked out from the hoards of people in the auditorium. Tas was still full and ready to fight, but Lel continued to look his opponent over. "Schto?" He finally said in inquiry. Was he here to battle? Or just watch? Then a man, still smaller than him (but a man), was there watching them as well.
Then finally, while the audience came up with answers, he finally decided to answer Taku. "Hungarian," He said. "Speak Hungarian firsht. Russian second. Den Engrlish." He took to lighting the smoke stick in his mouth at last.
