Lydia almost bolted from the auditorium if not for the fact that she had a friend with her. The agreed to go together after all, and catch one of those rare grass types. Lavender would have been jealous of them today! Though, focusing in, they had to remember which way was back to the school and avoid getting lost; they had to stick together! "I'm pretty sure I heard that there was a whole bunch of them," She semi-muttered, looking around fervently to try and key in on a pokemon. "We should run into one any time now."
Her words went unanswered. Small pokemon scampered around, but not one snivy or bulbasaur! It seemed like hours of walking! Just walking! Then finally crunching could be heard. It was feint, but Lydia went quiet and crept around towards it. Snivy! Eating sitrus berries! "This is it!" She whispered, pulling up her pokemon of choice. Not a moment later, another snivy came up with a couple more berries! Perfect! Now they both would have a chance! 'Paras, Marvin, and Blaze are all strong against grass types, so catching a pokemon today should be no sweat!' Lydia smiled in thought. "Alright Blaze!" She called out her magby immediately drawing the snivy's attention. "We got this one in the bag! Fire spin attack!" Both snivy looked upset and angry. Their pick-nick was being interrupted!
The first one was clearly the stronger, using its leech seed to tangle up the fire type before its attack could be dealt out. The other spun it around and tripped poor magby onto its back. The sudden hit onto the ground pushed out Blaze's attack, but right at Lydia! "Hey! Don't fire spin me! Hot hot hot!" She flailed around. The snivy pair snicked and dashed off. "So much for this being easy..." Lydia groaned.
Maria gave a light nod. “Yeah you’re right.” she agreed. Battle class was pretty standard for every year so she should be used to it. However Battle Tactics was another story maybe it would help having Athena twice. When the assembly was over Maria rushed off with Lydia to see what grass types they could find. “I’m sure we’ll find them how hard can it be to track them down?” she reassured her friend. Looking around they arrived at the river. ‘This is where I spent my last day with Keldeo…’ Maria thought quickly pushing the thoughts away. She needed to concentrate on finding grass types.
Finally they came across two Snivy. However Blaze got into the fight and tripped resulting in Lydia getting fired at by her own pokemon and the two grass types ran away. “Dewgong help.” Maria said sending out her water pokemon. Dewgong quickly fired a brine attack only instead of shooting it up in the air he hit Lydia putting out the flames. “Sorry… are you okay?” she asked feeling bad for getting Lydia soaked. “We’ll get our chance.” She told her. “Growlithe help us out.” Maria said releasing the fire dog. “Can you follow the scent of the Snivy?” she asked him. “Grow.” (Yes.) he agreed sniffing the air before following the scent of the two pokemon. “Come on.” She said returning Dewgong and chasing after Growlithe.

Soon they would track down the grass types. ‘Where could they be?’ she thought as they followed their trail. Soon Maria stopped them again. “There they are Lydia.” Maria pointed out quietly. “Let’s work together to catch them.” She suggested. “Now if they try to run this time we’ll cut them off.” She said looking to Growlithe.
“Alright use flamethrower.” Maria told him as he jumped out of the bushes and fired towards the two grass types. Both scattered from their spots. "Go for it Lydia." Maria told her as she turned back to her pokemon. "Flame wheel." she called out. Growlithe quickly spun into a ball heading straight for the Snivy. The Snivy tried to attack with its own leaf tornado which only got burned to a crisp. Getting hit the Snivy fell backwards. "Now Fire fang." With that, Growlithe bite down on the grass type leaving it in a lot of pain. Tossing a pokeball its way while Lydia dealt with her own Snivy Maria hoped that the pokemon would be caught.
Lydia was soaked, but not discouraged! After all, with Maria and her growlith, she was sure to catch that snivy! "Right!" She shook her head to clear her thoughts, and followed after Maria and growlith. "Come on Blaze!" She called as the magby freed itself from the tangle of leech seed. Magby! Magby magby! It waddled in a hurry to follow. Growlith was hot on the trail! Literally, and it was no time at all before they found the snivy pair again.
"This time for sure!" Lydia called as soon as Maria gave her the all clear. "Blaze! Use clear smog!" The magby took a deep breath, blowing out a poison attack. Snivy couldn't evade it this time! "Looks like it worked! No use fire spin!" The two charged in. But snivy were clever, and its vinewhip went to the side to pull out a surprised bulbasaur! Slaming it in front of its foe, Lydia didn't even get the chance to get excited about it. The scare from the pokemon cause it to let out a sleep powder. "No way! A bul...ba...sau..." Both Lydia and Magby fell right asleep.
Freed from vine whip, the startled bulbasaur scampered off almost as quickly as snivy. Both left the human trainer and fire-bran pokemon asleep on the ground.
“Lydia!” Maria cried completely forgetting about the pokeball she was waiting on. Growlithe however did not. Rushing over to her friend she realized she had no luck. “Lydia… Blaze… Wake up.” She said nudging her. How could her friend have such terrible luck? “Growlithe,” Maria called to him. His ears perked as he looked to her. “Did we catch it?” she asked curiously. Growlithe quickly ran over to the pokeball and grabbed it. Then he ran back to Maria as she held out her hand for it.
Opening the pokeball a Snivy was released from it. “Snivy!” he called. “Hello Snivy it’s nice to meet you.” Maria told the pokemon. The pokemon looked confused all of a sudden before looking over at Lydia and Blaze. Then it started laughing at the stat they were in. “Grow…”(Stop…)Growlithe growled which seemed to stop the Snivy from laughing. “Thank you Growlithe.” Maria told him. “Snivy you need to learn to be nice okay.” She told the grass type it didn’t seem to agree however. ‘This grass type is going to be a hand full…’ she thought. Turning her attention back to Lydia hoping she was alright.
After battle class tojuro decided to wonder around to get familiar to the school ground. Maybe who knows he would find a pokemon. As he walk around he had no luck. He pulled out a pokeball and his absol appeared as they both walk around the river.
A few hours have passed as they walk by as they spotted a marshtomp in the distance. Tojuro quickly grab a spar pokeball and grinned as he spoke loudly "Absol! use quick attack and follow with iron tail!" Absol nodded as it growled as it used quick attack. The marshtomp quickly got ready to counter but quickly block absols iron tail but still was sent flying.
Tojuro just stood there as he ran to get closer so he can watch as marshtomp and absol continued to attack fiercely. It seemed like a rough battle for absol but he was giving his all. As both sides attack over and over for what seemed like hours as tojuro try'd to keep up the best he could.
Finally both sides were tired from the looks of it, he decided to throw a pokeball and hope like hell it work. The ball hit marshtomp on the head as it shot the red beam. The pokeball fell on the ground as it shook around. Tojuro spoke calmly yet worried "Come on.... Come on.... Please work~..." Tojuro eyes fix on that ball as if his life depended on it.
The ball finally stop as tojuro cheered excitedly as he quickly went up and grab the pokeball happily. He look over to see his absol laying down panting as it look at him calmly. Tojuro smiled kindly as he spoke happily "Time for a rest good pal, come on. Ya earned it." He pulled out his pokeball and had absol take a nap as he left the forest to hopefully find his friends.

Once the bell rang, Arthur headed straight for the river to calm himself down. Today had started off bad for him, as he and a few of his classmates became the reason for the whole class getting punished. And the punishment was too cruel, it wasn't fair. Who in their right mind would accept this insane woman as a teacher into their school? Did the headmistress know about Mrs. Athena's unorthodox punishment? If she knew, why'd still keep that woman here? Anyway, Arthur decided to put it all behind him for now and focus on having fun in this short break.
As he walked, he found a good spot in the shade and went over to sit down. Rummaging through the backpack, he grabbed his lunch, four sandwiches, and started eating. He liked this place. Although it was quite lonely without people, he loved the sounds of river flowing and of small flying-type pokemon chirping. "Ah, right, I forgot!" He then pulled out a pokeball and released a Cherubi out. She looked...very angry. 'Oh crap.'
"Hi Cherry! How are you? You look cute as ever!" Arthur laughed nervously. Che, cheru, che! Cheru, cheru! "I'm really, really sorry! So much stuff happened today, so I forgot to call you out. But don't worry! I still have one more class to attend to, and this time you'll get the chance to make friends!Well, if this class isn't supervised by another insane person..." He muttered at the end, managed to hide it from his friend. Suddenly something dropped from above onto his lap.
"Whoa! What the...? Wait, this is..." He studied it for a moment. "...a Starly? Why it's looking so weak as if it's going to die?" S-star.... True, it was lying there with eyes barely open. Che, che! Arthur turned to look at his friend who was...attacking air with her mouth? Oh, this might be a guessing game like charades? "Uhhh....You want to battle?" Head quickly shaking side to side. "Air is very refreshing today?" Head shaking again. "Okay, umm....you're hungry?" Che, che! She then landed beside the Starly and repeated the biting act again.
"Whoa! Are you saying...." Cherry started to smile, finally her trainer understood what she was trying to say! "I never thought....oh Arcues, no. Cherry, I won't allow this. I know you're hungry, and I do too, but I forbid you from eating the poor Starly!" WHAT? She was NOT a carnivore! Oh, if only she had a hand, she would have facepalmed herself. GAH, no more silly act! Time for action! With her mouth, she snatched a sandwich from the boy's hand and push it against the Starly's beak, trying to force the food down its throat. "Ah, so you mean.... Ummm...Cherry, I don't think you can feed him...." He said, assuming the Starly was a male, "his mouth closed...." Both pokemon and the boy sweatdropped. "...give me a second to get a berry for him okay?" Cherry simply nodded, facing down.

"Cough, cough, ahem! Pardon me for interrupting such a sweet scene, but I have had enough of being ignored. You ate my berry and my lunch too. So, in other words, I saved you. But instead of thanking me like you're supposed to, you went talking with my little girl and making her blush. What were you two talking about?" Unimpressed and alittle annoyed, Arthur looked pointedly at the Starly. He was being overly protective, and he knew it. However, as long as he was still the cherubi's trainer, no man is going to get closer to her than friends. "Since you're full now, mind flying back to wherever you ca--?"
Groooooowwwwwwl.... The sound of certain avian's stomach growling silenced him and drew all attentions to it. S-star! Star, star! (U-uh...Seems like I still can go for a few more pieces of bread. Well, if you don't mind that is..)Che, che! (Of course!) Cherry answered immediately, not asking for her trainer's permission. Arthur looked back and forth at the two, frowning. "Whatever being said between you two, I'm definitely not going to like it. Anyway, I'm going back to school. Come here, Cherry."Nodding, Cherubi jumped into his arm and sat down on his shoulder, then followed by the Starly as it went sitting on the other side. "Who says you're allowed to sit on me! Get off!"
Hana was up early, in the same cloths she'd worn just the day before at the pizza joint. Today, she was going to try and follow the advice of the strange woman and her endearing friend. Kenta had suggested just letting lickitung go, but Vern frowned on that sort of thing. Deciding to trust he friend's advice better, she came out away from anywhere the pokemon could cause trouble; and her weapon of choice to battle the gluttony pokemon: a large and ripe cantaloupe. The cafeteria workers originally thought it was an odd request--why would such a small girl want a large fruit? But the mention of lickitung seemed to connect all the pieces. "Liikiitong," She did her best to pronounce its name as she let it out. The pink pokemon stretched, happily singing before unvailing its long tonue to head strait for Hana. "No me!" She flinched, holding out the melon as far from herself as possible. Then... nothing. Lickitung stopped, walking up and taking the melon to swallow almost without chewing. The cheered happily, glad to be eating so early in the day, and hugged its human. "Eh...? Uh... Good liikiitong." She patted its head, which then encouraged it to snuggle in its face: Liiiky liiiky...
Hana giggled, seeming to warm up to the pokemon until she stumbled and fell back. "Ow..." She muttered quietly. And then a lick cam across her cheek. Her pokemon's attemp to comfort her, but only making her shudder. Azuuuuril azuuuril! a cute blue pokemon bounced by in a good mood. Hana became mezmorized. "W-wait!" She called, scrambling to chase after it with lickitung happily following (but clueless as to why).

Once Maria was able to calm down her pokemon she fell asleep and didn't wake up till morning. Luckily she and her pokemon woke well rested and ready to go for the day. Heading down to the café she ate before figuring she'd stop by Athena's room and see if the tests happened to be marked. Somehow she doubted it but then again you never know.
Walking by her teacher's room Maria was slightly surprised that the marks were already up. Looking to the top of the page was her name with the highest score you could possible get on the test. 'How...?' she thought in shock. Her Snivy duo looked up at her with confusion on their faces. "I got perfect on the test you guys." she told them assuring them that this moment couldn't have been any better. All that studying had paid off. "Come on we need to celebrate." Maria told them with a smile.
Heading off into the forest and over to the river Maria couldn't help but remember the first day back and how she caught Snivy. All was quiet which was fine by her as she walked the length of the river. Suddenly she saw a girl... Hana if she remembered correctly, not that she'd talked to her before. She was chasing something and a Lickitung was following her. "Did anyone see what she was chasing?" she asked. Ditto nodded before transforming into an Azurill.
"Alright let's follow them." Maria said chasing after them with her pokemon behind her. "Hey wait up..." she called after her.
Hana slowed to a stop when a voice distracted her. "Eh?" She looked back, turning in time to miss lickitung bumping into her--and kept running onward. "O-oh... Yu same class. I seeing yu yesterday an' beefour," She noted, waiting for the girl to catch up. "Himeko no Hana," She greeted giving a polite bow. But upon looking down, she noted another azuril. "Oh! Dat coot pokemon! I seeing it an' fohllow," She bent down to pat the azuril look alike. In the presents of something cute, she completely forgot her manners. "What called?" She asked eagerly. She smiled up at Maria, far too distracted to worry about if the girl would be kind or... like Jason.
But remembering that she was following one earlier, she looked around her. Her pokemon! "Oh no... Pokemon. Where it go?" She muttered, giving a worried look.Lllllliiiiiiikyyyyyyy! Lickitung was blasted back with water. It seemed like it was hurt! "L... Liikiitong! What wrong?"
Maria slowed to a stop as she caught up to Hana. So she did remember her name right. “Azurill.” Ditto said happily. Snivy came up behind and crossed his arms annoyed that he wasn’t the cute one. “My name’s Maria.” She introduced. As she picked up Snivy whose upset look quickly vanished. Just as she was about to say something Lickitung went flying. “I think it just got hit with a water gun attack.” She stated in shock. That was a strong pokemon to be able to send a big pokemon like Lickitung flying. Ditto ran over to the Lickitung with concern. “Azurill?” (You alright?) he asked before looking to see if it was really the small water type that had attacked.
