Lydia sighed, walking around the lake with her egg tucked in her arms safely. "It's a shame Kenta's so busy... Guess we'll just have lunch out here then," She said to herself, walking until she settle on a spot. There wasn't anything special about lunch, just some sandwiches and chips, with a cookie to follow. "Okay everyone!" She called out her team of tiny titans. Each one stretched out happily in the warmth of the sunlight. The pick-nick was calm, a good way for her pokemon to get a chance to interact more casually and bond. Even some small and cute poliwag came up to ask for a nibble every now and again. It was all great until Lydia looked back at her bag to find someone digging in it: Sen... Sentret sen. Sen? "Hey!" She called out. "That's my stuff!" Sentret! It dashed off quickly with something in its mouth. "That's run away. I know that anywhere! After it!"
The whole of the group chased after it, magby almost choking as it hurried to swallow the last of its lunch. "Come back here sandwich thief!" Lydia called. Though, as expected, sentret didn't stop. "Alright then. Paras, use energy ball!" She commanded. Paras jumped up and took aim, but didn't expect what happened next. The wild sentret did a full u-turn, bouncing off of Paras and fury swiping at Lydia. "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! Hey!"
Marvin jumped in next: if anyone was going to pick on his trainer, it was going to be him and him alone! It let loose its own fury swipes...! But missed the sentret completely and ended up giving Lydia a double dose. "Marvin! Ow ow ow ow!" It stopped as soon as it realized what went wrong, and couldn't help but laugh.
It was up to the trusty magby to get that sandwich thief, And hit its mark with feint attack! Sentret lost the food it was holding onto and gave an angry look at Blaze. It began to bounce and chant. Was that a real attack? "Blaze! Use firespin attack!" The magby leaped into action, sucking in a deep breath to launch the attack. Then Sentret finally stopped. A sound of thunder rubled and a downpour began--dousing out the fire type and its attack. "Where did all this rain com from!?" Lydia cried out as she tried shielding herself from it with her arms. Sentret escaped, and the rain dispersed quickly after. "We're all soaked... Was that rain dance? I've never actually seen it done... Especially not like that."
Now I know that I’m not all that you got. I guess that I, I just thought... Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart? But our friends are back, so let’s raise a toast, ‘Cause I found someone to carry me home...
Iris was glad that her classes were done for the day. She wasn't quite used to going to them yet, with summer still fresh on her mind. But that was to be expected, she figured. After her last class let out, she hurried to her dowm to change out of her uniform and into something a bit more comfortable. Her shorts and t-shirt, paired with sandals, were perfect for this sunny day. What would make it even more perfect? A nice walk by the lake, that's what. As Iris approached the lake, she released her three Pokemon. Vanillite and Torchic immediately paired up, chatting amongst themselves, while Machop stood close to his trainer. "You should go play with the others, Machop. It'll be fun." the blonde said. Machop only shook his head. Iris sighed. "Alright. If you don't want to, I can't make you." she added as she patted his head. Further along in their stroll, a flash of lightning lit up the sky, thunder boomed in the girl's ears, and rain began to pour down on the area surrounding the lake. Iris looked around, confused. "Well, that's odd..." she muttered. As quickly as the rain came, it was gone. The girl's hair was soaked, and Torchic looked about ready to have a panic attack from the water. A Sentret ran past them, leaving Iris even more curious than before. "Okay, that was weird... Let's go this way, guys." she said, walking in the direction the Sentret had come from. She soon spotted a familiar face, someone who was just as soaked from this rain as she was. "Hey Lydia!" Iris called out, waving at the other girl. Torchic and Vanillite found fascination in the other Pokemon, especially the Magby and Cubchoo, while Machop only stared at the other girl. He didn't know who she was or what her connection to his momma was, and he wasn't very friendly in general. "Hey, what happened? It just started raining and... Are those scratches all over your face?" Iris tilted her head in confusion, curious as to just what had happened here. But, maybe she shouldn't be. After all, curiosity did kill the cat.
The moon is on my side. I have no reason to run. So will someone come and carry me home tonight? The angels never arrived, but I can hear the choir. So will someone come and carry me home...
Tonight, we are young, so let’s set the world on fire. We can burn brighter than the sun. So if by the time the bar closes, and you feel like falling down, I’ll carry you home tonight.

Lydia did her best to wring out her hair and cloths, still hopelessly soaked despite the effort. "Huh?" She looked up, and quickly made an awkward smile in Iris's direction. "Uhhhh... Well, um... Ya..." She admitted, having a little bit of shame. While the humans were talking, Marvin and Blaze quickly began to bond with their type equals (better than each other anyway) and leaving Paras in an awkward spot of the social circle. "I kinda had a run in with a mean sentret. But it went through my bag and stole some of the sandwiches we were eating for lunch! So... we chased after it and I kinda got fury swiped, hehe..." She rubbed at the back of her head. "But what are you guys..." Her voice trailed as she actually took the time to look at Iris. "I guess that rain dance got you too, huh?" Blaze began to try and prod torchik into a chase game, but Marvin still tried to figure out what vanilite was. Paras left the group, wondering over to machop--since the others were preoccupied with other things...
Now I know that I’m not all that you got. I guess that I, I just thought... Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart? But our friends are back, so let’s raise a toast, ‘Cause I found someone to carry me home...
Iris listened to Lydia's explanation and nodded. If someone came up and took her lunch, she'd chase after them too! That dirty little thief! "Well, I'm glad you're okay. Sorry about your lunch though. I wish I had some food to give you guys, but I don't." The blonde scratched at her head nervously. Meanwhile, her Pokemon were busy making friends. Torchic looked at the Magby that was poking him, and let out an excited chirp. He wanted to play! "Torchic!" he exclaimed, running off in hopes that he would be chased by the other fire type. The chick sneezed, and released a small flame from his beak. The poor dear still had the remainders of a cold. Vanillite was busy being examined by the Cubchoo. She floated around the little bear, grinning and laughing at it's confusion. "Nill Nill!" she said through her giggles. A giggling ice cream cone. Well, if Cubchoo wasn't confused before, he was now. Machop glanced at the Paris that had approached him. It didn't seem too friendly, which was good in his case. He wasn't the best at making friends, especially when he went into a punching frenzy after being startled. But this little bug thing didn't seem too starling. ".....Chop." he finally muttered in greeting. Iris turned to watch her Pokemon, smiling as she turned back to Lydia. "You have very nice Pokemon, Lydia. I don't think I've ever really noticed before, but they are nice, and healthy too, and adorable~" she chimed. The girl had met a good number of Pokemon in her time at the Academy, but there were always others to meet. She wanted to meet them all!

"Well, I try my best," Lydia said more awkwardly, with a matching stance and smile to boot. "Actually, that's why we were having lunch out here: to bond with each other. Marvin and Blaze aren't very used to each other yet, and they're rival types so it they argue a lot." While Lydia explained away, Blaze chased after torchic, laughing at its sneeze and happy to play. The magby was still a bit spoiled from Deception Island, having never known anything to want to harm it (genuinely). Marvin, on the other hand, was a notorious trouble maker; and once it was confused enough, the wheels in its little head began to try and come up with ways to annoy the other ice type.
"Actually, I'm not always so lucky. Every once in a while I get a pokemon that doesn't like me or any of my other pokemon. My heracross is kind of a good example. It knows I'm still learning about training and everything, so it doesn't listen to me at all. Then my aerodacyl just likes to chase and bite everything... I only just earned my Kangaskhan's respect, enough to get it to listen to me and not just charge in! It just takes a lot of work some times..." Lydia admitted her woes and failures.
Paras poked slightly at Machop, trying to figure it out before making any attempt to crawl on it. Being the most docile of Lydia's current team, It took the role of the grown up as often as it could--but was still curious about the human world and things it had never seen before. "I guess I kind of cheat, because most of the pokemon I catch are already really nice, and some of them I bonded with before catching: like Blaze and Paras. So I'm really not even good at catching pokemon just yet! But some day I will be!"
Jason finished his lap from where castform was sitting out on the lake. He liked to take his morning swim as often as he could. So why not use the pool? Because it was his time to think. Holding his breath, surrounded by water, he didn't need distractions. It was one of very few times that he actually avoided people, and sought out solitude. There was just something about being engulfed by water that left him relaxed and at peace.
Climbing out, he dusted through his hair to shake out the water, and grabbed the towel that eevee held for him. "Thanks eevee," He patted its head. The sudden wet feel urged the pokemon to get up and shake (as though it had been swimming laps too). Jason laughed, drying off and grabbing his shirt to put on. "Hm?" He looked up to see an odd looking pokemon, out to kick and spar with an invisible foe. "Kind of cool looking, don't you guys think?" he stared a while longer at it.
↣ Mark sighed as he ran after his pikachu. Why did he always have to make things so hard for him? Pikachu knew he wasn't athletic and way out of shape. He was gasping and wheezing as he ran after the happy and hyper pokemon. Without him realizing it though, Pachurisu's ball opened and the other pokemon joined in, running the oppisite direction. Mark looked torn and stopped, watching the two of them.. Oh man, why did they chose his tiredess moments to do this crap?! " I hope you fall into the lake Pikachu" He shouted. The pokemon, just to spite it's trainer, got close to the edge of the water and dunked it's tail in it. He wasn't scare, but he also couldn't swim. Mark glared and sunk to his knees. " Damn it pikachu!" He whined and sat there. " I'm sorry I ran out of poffins! But you ate them all last night!" He cried and laid back into the grass. Pokemon hated him. He closed his eyes and put his hands over them before he brought them down.
Looking to the sky, he paused, wait, he thought he saw a flash of red in the action. When he looked over, there it was... Jason. Oh s**t. no, no, no!!
Tera took a long look at the majestic view of the lake before searching for a good and wide open space. "Yep, this looks like a good place to start!" She threw two Pokeballs into the air, releasing Flint and Flora from their respective Pokeballs. As usual, the ant Pokemon was asleep even after being out of his ball while Flora was ready "Alrighty guys! We gotta start training if we wanna get stronger! Let's first warm up by doing one lap around the lake!" she said with her fist pumped into the air. She had studied with her classmates the day before, but felt that her team was lacking stamina and now was the perfect time to do some physical training. Upon hearing Tera's order, Flint woke up though half asleep and waited for her to start running so that he could follow suit. Thinking that that was going to be a drag, Flora decided to curiously explore the large body of water instead. "Hey Flora, quit playing around! We hafta start training now!"
A few large lily pads were floating on top of the lake and Flora had the fun idea of jumping on top of them to escape from her trainer who was running after her. The plant Pokemon had leapt onto one of them and it started drifting further into the lake much to the Oddish's surprise. Not wanting to get stranded in the middle of the lake, she jumped onto the other nearby lily pad. Luckily for her it was drifting towards the shore as if it had a mind of its own. When the lily pad finally reached the shore, it abnormally continued making its way towards the forest revealing a bottom part of the giant lily pad. It was a wild Lotad that Flora had boarded though she didn't notice it. Curious as to how this was happening, she began jumping in place on top of it to see what else it could do, much to the dismay of the poor Lotad who didn't even know that it got itself an unexpected passenger. The wild Lotad screamed at the top of its lungs in fear scaring the now surprised Flora off its leaf and finally fully awakening Flint from his half asleep state. The water weed Pokmeon's head then began to glow and charged towards Tera's grass type causing massive damage. "Ah! Flora use Moonlight!" the still surprised Flora listened to her trainer and gathered the light around her in an attempt to heal. Due to the partly cloudy weather, Flora's moonlight move didn't restore much of her strength making it difficult for her to counter. "Flora return! Let's go Flint!" she said as a red light returned Flora back into her Pokeball, thinking that she wouldn't last much longer. "Use Sand Tomb!" Put off guard by the sudden switch, the wild Lotad was caught in Flint's sand tomb attack. It wasn't doing much damage, but at least the water and grass type could not move for awhile. "Now hit it with Bite!" Flint dove into the center of the sand tomb attack to bite his opponent. Panicking in the sandy pit the wild Lotad used Rain dance, making it more difficult to get out of it. Seeing as the Lotad was beginning to look tired and was getting more frightened by the minute, Tera took the opportunity to try to increase her party by throwing a Pokeball at it to finish this as soon as possible. The ball shook a few times before it was finally capture. Feeling bad for what it experienced, Tera threw the Pokeball of the newly captured Pokemon to summon it in an attempt to calm it down. She moved slowly towards it so as not to scare it. "It's okay. You don't need to be scared. I'm not gonna hurt ya..." she softly said as she offered the Lotad an Oran berry. The water grass type, still slightly afraid, cautiously approached Tera and nibbled at the berry. The pink haired trainer petted it and watched it finish the berry. This wasn't the training she had in plan, but her team did gain some experience in some shape or form which made her satisfied with what she accomplish. It didn't hurt that she also got a new ally as well.

Right from a morning swim, Jason found the pokemon he'd seen regularly all september long. Though now, he was battling it down. "Okay castform! Keep up that watergun!" He called, keeping his pokemon out of range of hitmonlee. Castform kept up its attack, doing little damage and dodging hits flung out by the fighting type. But something started to change. Watergun began to look... steamy. Hot! Jason could almost feel the heat in the cool and fogged morning air. And now some real damage was being done. "What the heck...?" He stared a while, processing and reasoning out what was happening. "Scald. Alright! Castform, keep up that scald!" He called in a happy tone. Hitmonlee knelled down, looking tired. "Looks like we got it," He threw a pokeball out, catching the fighting type in a red light. It was quite a wait, but the entire lake side went quiet. Hitmonlee was captured! Finally! "Guess we got a new partner," He patted castform.
