Gintō (Silver tubes) was the term given to the minute, cylindrical tools utilized by Quincies. The apparent function of the tubes is the liquification and storage of a Quincy's reiryoku and then later employing said energies in a form of spellcasting similar to the Kidō of the Shinigami. Like Kidō, the techniques formed by the Gintō are activated by the utterance of various incantations. Though antiquated, Gintō have been employed by many modern Quincy and remains a feasible method of combating Hollows and Shinigami alike to this day.
Below you will find five different categories in terms of stat level which also explains the level in which the character is at in terms of skill in Ginto. The levels are as follow: Beginner, Novice, Practitioner, Expert, and Master. Under each level before you read the spells there are rules for using the Ginto for your level. Each level explains how many Ginto tubes your character is allowed to carry on them at a single time. So keep that in mind when looking at the spells because certain ones use more than a single Ginto to cast and will not work without using the proper amount of Ginto, unless you have a trait or ability gained by your spiritual power that allows you to use less Ginto to cast a spell.

The Following Require your character to have your Ginto Skill Stat at: 20 ( Beginner Rank )
Characters under this Ranking are able to carry 10 Ginto on them at a single time. Spell Name: Tönen (Sound)
Ginto Consumption: 2
Spell Type: Offensive / Supplementary
Spell Range: Short to Long-Range (0 – 50 Meters)
Spell Description: The user drops a Ginto tube on the ground, in which the liquid disperses at a rapid rate. The user begins chanting as the liquid merges with the ground and begins to cause the local tectonic plates to shake wildly and soon enough produce a considerably shockwave which causes opponents to lose their balance significantly.
Spell Incantation: "The pendulum swings towards all the futures and pasts - Tönen!"
Spell Name: Regen (Rain)
Ginto Consumption: 1
Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Short to Long-Range (0 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: After saying the correct incantation the Quincy throws the tubes into the air. Then the tube bursts causing the liquid to shower down but as it falls it hardens into a blast of diamond sharp shards raining down onto the opponent. The diamond shards shoot at incredible speeds. They are capable of shooting through defenses that are weaker then it. It has a large span attempting to overwhelm the target and catch them in it's attack. For each tube used about 20 shards are formed. The user can even pour the liquid along the ground and cause the shards to fire into the air rather than rain down.
Spell Incantation: "Mother who sheds tears of horror, crush those with your icy wrath - Regen!"
Spell Name: Seifenblasen (Bubbles)

Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Mid-Range (5 – 10 Meters)
Spell Description: This technique forms ten orbs the size of pool balls made of energy that form over to steel. This spell rapidly launches itself at the desired area. They can travel through targets easily and have incredible force. In a way people look at them as cannon balls being fired with the force they create.
Spell Incantation: "Surrender to the almighty wrath of war and beg for mercy - Seifenblasen!"
Spell Name: Halten (Hold)
Ginto Consumption: 4
Spell Type: Defensive / Supplementary
Spell Range: Mid-Range (5 – 10 Meters)
Spell Description: The Quincy uses the silver tube to fire a net of reiatsu. The net of reiatsu suppresses other reiatsu if it captures the target. Depending on the individual targets strength it can hold them pretty well. If they have strange reiatsu capabilities then it can only hold them for about 10 seconds. if their abilities are equal to the strength of the net then it can hold them for one post. If weaker then it holds them until deactivated. When fired it looks like a normal arrow then it elongates and splits apart into several arrows that are spreading out. They can either connect at the ends to wrap around the target or shoot into something and hold them there that way.
Spell Incantation: "Bound by life, nor bound by death, the chains of mercy I hold within me - Halten!"
Spell Name: Durchleiden (Endure)
Ginto Consumption: 2
Spell Type: Defensive
Spell Range: Short Range (0 – 5 Meters)
Spell Description: A triangle wall raises around the Quincy after spilling the tubes liquid along the ground. It appears to be made up of glass. However it is more dense then crystal and full of condensed reiatsu. It is about 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide. This is very durable and is specific for attacks that are wide in range and for multiple attacks from all sides.
Spell Incantation: "From the protection of the Father and the love of a Mother - Durchleiden!"

Characters under this Ranking are able to carry 15 Ginto on them at a single time. Spell Name: Gritz (Five Rack Ties)
Ginto Consumption: 1
Spell Type: Defensive
Spell Range: Short Range (0 – 5 Meters)
Spell Description: A film of Reishi emitted from a thrown Ginto surrounds the enemy. This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target.
Spell Incantation: "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Gritz!"
Spell Name: Doppel (Twin)
Ginto Consumption: 2
Spell Type: Defensive / Supplementary
Spell Range: Mid to Long-Range (10 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: The user drops two Ginto tubes onto the ground, the spiritual energy cloaks around them, creating a "husk" of spiritual energy in a sense, which acts as a decoy in battle. Upon impact with the mirage, it creates a large explosion similar to a smoke bomb.
Spell Incantation: "When one is lost, another is found - Doppel!"
Spell Name: Drängen (Force)
Ginto Consumption: 5
Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Short to Long-Range (0 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: The user forms a fist about a silver tube and recites the incantation. His or Her fist is then enclosed in raging sphere of reiryoku. Upon punching, the energy is released in the form of a powerful, concussive wave enough to rend through solid stone.
Spell Incantation: "Push the world harder than it pushes back - Drängen!"

Characters under this Ranking are able to carry 25 Ginto on them at a single time. Spell Name: Verschwiegenheit (Discretion)

Spell Type: Supplementary
Spell Range: Self (Caster Only)
Spell Description: While uttering the incantation, the user pours the contents of a silver tube upon his or her head. In doing so, the light-waves about the user's body will bend, causing a form of invisibility to be present about their form. In addition, the technique, by design, suppresses the spiritual presence of the user; making it a prime art of camouflage.
Spell Incantation: "Discretion is the better part of Valor - Verschwiegenheit!"
Spell Name: Spülung (Purge)
Ginto Consumption: 3
Spell Type: Defensive / Offensive
Spell Range: Short to Mid-Range (0 – 10 Meters)
Spell Description: By using the spiritual power housed with a silver tube, the user performs a close-range palm-trust, which cracks the silver tube in-use. This causes the spiritual power within to react violently, creating an electrical burst of energy in the palm of ones hand, accompanied by two solid rings. The rings can block incoming impacts, making it a good counter for a Hollows Cero or Kido created by Shinigami, while the center boasts an explosive quality. With practice the spell can be thrown as a "disk", where the rings act as blades.

Spell Name: Heizen (Heating)

Spell Range: Mid-Range (5 – 10 Meters)
Spell Description: Heizen instantly gouges and purges whatever is enclosed in the space within the four tossed gintōs. It is tremendously effective even against Menos Grandes. This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from the silver tubes which then slices through the opponent.
Spell Incantation: "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Heizen!"
Spell Name: Wolke
Ginto Consumption: 3
Spell Type: Defensive / Supplementary
Spell Range: Mid to Long-Range (10 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: Cushioning the impact of a fall with Reiryoku contained inside a Ginto by allowing it to pour from the container. This technique uses two silver tube to create a large blast enough to safely cushion one's landing from fall that a normal human would never survive from no matter what was there to take away from the impact.
Spell Incantation: "Tilt the goblet to the west - Wolke!"

Characters under this Ranking are able to carry 50 Ginto on them at a single time. Spell Name: Zerstören (Destroy)
Ginto Consumption: 3
Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Short to Long-Range (0 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: This technique involves spilling the contents of three or more (more increase the effect) silver tubes directly in-front, behind, or to the sides of the user. This allows the Quincy to create a widespread frontal assault constituting multiple streaks of compacted reishi, which shoot forth in a cone-shape from the users location. Each streak appears like a thicker and longer Heilig Pfeil. Some Quincy can even control the trajectory of the streaks by seizing the "arrow" and controlling it remotely. The streaks themselves also ricochet off solid surfaces, enabling them to reach around corners.
Spell Incantation: "Tilt the blood-filled goblets - Zerstören!"
Spell Name: Sprenger (Explosion)

Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Mid to Long-Range (10 – 20 Meters)
Spell Description: This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. When an object or a person stands within the middle of the Pentagon the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider can trap them by wrapping and binding their legs to the ground with dense spirit particles. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time, or has enough strength to create the formation while under attack.
Spell Incantation: "Cut through the grass and shatter the walls of Hell - Sprenger!"
Spell Name: Gert Sprenger (The Stern Javelin Warrior Explosion)
Ginto Consumption: 2
Spell Type: Offensive
Spell Range: Mid-Range (5 – 10 Meters)
Spell Description: This involves the Quincy firing a single Seele Schneider at the intended target, which then stops in mid-air, surrounding the opponent with a high density barrier of reishi. Minuscule cuts created by Seele Schneider cause reishi to flow out of the target's body. The Quincy then throws a Gintō at the Seele Schneider, causing the barrier to implode, culminating in an enormous explosion.
Spell Incantation: "Across the blood stained field and strike for the heart - Gert Sprenger!"

Characters under this Ranking are able to carry 150 Ginto on them at a single time. Spell Name: Stärken (Empower)
Ginto Consumption: 50
Spell Type: Supplementary
Spell Range: Self (Caster Only)
Spell Description: A self-improvement technique which absorbs the accumulated spiritual power of multiple silver tubes, which the Quincy dumps over their body. During the time of the Genocide, the Quincy required a means to improve their skills temporarily; resulting in the creation of Stärken. The Quincy receives an abrupt and temporary increase in their ability to absorb reishi (Double the usual amount), as well as an increase in their standard levels of reiryoku; mimicking the effect merely holding a Seele Schneider gives. Use is characterized by a golden-colored aura suffusing the users limbs, which also effects the color of their Spirit Weapon, as well. The Quincy's physical strength and mobility doubles for a total of 2 minutes (2 post) during this stage. Using this spell more than 2 times in a row puts so much strain on the body it crushes the bones and internal organs of the caster, which could eventually kill them.
Spell Incantation: "The wine is the blood, these tears are my wine, and this fist harbors my strength - Stärken!"
