At some point within their history, the Quincy began to distinguish themselves based upon an individual's ancestry and adopted the practice of true-breeding. Those who were descended from a long line of only Quincy and so, were thought to have a pure heritage, came to be known as Echt (Pureblood) Quincy, while all others were instead referred to as Gemischt (Mixed Blood). In order to preserve their pure lineage, many families conducted arranged marriages between their own children and only those belonging to other pure families.
If you want your character to be apart of one of these families please message KogaP before you create your character. These will be the only Echt families in the Guild, any other Quincy families created will automatically be Gemischt families.

House of Schtauffen

Title: The Great House cloaked in Black Trees of a Thousand Realms

Overview: The Great Ancient House of Schtauffen colloquially known as the Schtauffen Family, is an age-old, noble family consisting of primarily pure-blooded Quincy based in the countryside of northwestern Germany. Before their race's near extermination at the hands of Soul Society's Gotei 13, they were an extremely powerful and influential line of Quincy amongst their people—boasting great warriors that found their names in the books of Quincy lore, folktale, and the subject of children's bedtime stories. Their history stretches over many centuries, watching mankind transform as the years rolled on. Unlike most Quincy, they were very well connected politically and, at times, had their hands in the affairs of "ordinary man"— holding secret ties to the aristocracy of the Holy Roman Empire, German Confederation, and Austrian Empire in the past. Their supernatural nature was a secret none could crack amongst German high society, known to normal humans as a wealthy family that made its' fortune off banking and other lucrative investments; does not like to be bothered. Amongst Quincy, they were known as the Schwarzwind but those were different days.
Since the near destruction of the Quincy by the Soul Society, the Schtauffen family has been in decline in sync with the falling Quincy. A shell of its' former self, the family has seen better days. However, they are left to live out their days at the family estate. Their wealth is all they have left that is still what it once was, which was further fortified by the efforts and fiscal genius of the its leader Siegfried Schtauffen. The few members left alive to carry on the Schtauffen name are not of pure blood exactly but being the product of a single pure blood parent they have proven to bring the name of Glory back to the House of Schtauffen. Rumors have it that the Schtauffen have recreated the Schwarzwind as a method of revenge against the Soul Society, although with the name change to the younger members there is no proof that the Schtauffen are behind the awakening of the Schtauffen.

House of Kannagi
House Name: Kannagi
Title: The Great Burning Wind of Japan

Manor Location: Human World
Overview: This clan is one of the oldest clan in the Quincy history, even so they were spared during the Great War due to their cooperation with the Shinigami. They believe in total harmony and working with the Shinigami. The members of this clan hold most closely to the old code from the Council of Quincy, and try to open communication with the Soul Society and try to work with them for the betterment of the human world. They view themselves as the “True Council” and tend to look down on the other Clans and Houses. The Quincy’s in this clan tend to be well rounded warriors choosing not to specify in any one certain area, but that does not limit them from specializing in what they deem to be most important to them.
Lately however, due to the influx of a newer generation of Quincy some things have changed concerning the principles which they follow. Instead of looking down on others they now actually prefer to communicate with other human and Quincy, trying to recruit more members to the clan. They still do keep their pacifist nature and fight only when attacked. The Kanngai are the natural opposite of the Schtauffen and have never agreed with their methods since they met. The two clans are destined enemies. It's also said that the Kannagi Leader has a special seat during the Gotei 13 Meetings and is invited often to meet with the Captains for certain issues that occur in the Human World.

House of Zepter
House Name: Zepter
Title: House of Twin Sisters

Manor Location: Human World
Overview: A near extinct bloodline likely originating from Bavaria in southern Germany. Their numbers are extremely low today, and its due to their destruction during the War against the Soul Society. At one point in time the Zepter were feared for their highly destructive method of combat, causing all kinds of collateral damage in the name of the greater good. They were known as the House of Twin Sisters, due to the fact all the successors or children that could produce any Quincy powers were always female. Being female and destructive, have always put those around them on edge just because of the danger they could cause to not only others but themselves.
