Appearance: Nigel has short and curly brown hair, biggish ears, and a charming smile, taking very much after his father. He dresses stylishly, generally wearing sweaters, shirts, and ties, even when less formal dress would be acceptable.

Demeanor: Nigel is very patient and hard working, however he doesn’t take failure too hard. However, because of his patient and generally non aggressive nature, he can have difficulty with offensive magic. This isn't to be mistaken for a lack of ambition; he simply prefers to use vcharm and goodwill to reach his goals. He’s honest and loyal, but can be prone to joking at inappropriate times. A lifetime of living amongst muggles has made him much more tolerant and understanding of them than the average magic user; the only time he ever shows any anger is when someone insults or disparages muggles or half-bloods.

History: Nigel and his younger sister were born to wizarding parents in London. His father, Marion, is a tailor, and his mother worked in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. When he was 3, his mother died in a horrific hang gliding accident. 2 years later, his father remarried to Angela Crofton, a muggle and mother of 3 children (also muggles). Growing up in a relatively small house, Nigel was closely exposed to the muggle lifestyle, while still experiencing the wizarding world. In lieu of television and video games, the Clayworthy children instead entertained themselves with board, roleplaying, and trading card games. When he was 11, Nigel switched from muggle primary school in London to magical education at Hogwarts. It wasn’t long before he discovered his love for potions, even covertly brewing his own potions in his dormitory in his spare time. He has a small cadre of tight friends, but is on generally good terms with everyone at Hogwarts, regardless of house or creed.
Wand: A simple, 9 inch long wand of pear wood, with a unicorn hair core.
Hobbies: Nigel enjoys pen and paper games, playing cards, and collecting things. He also plays the harmonica, and enjoys brewing potions and creating new potion recipes.
