A senkaimon appeared and opened. Roka slowly walked out of the Senkaimon and as he did so he began to inspect his surroundings. He had to admit, Squad 12 really out did them selfs. Roka asked for a fake city of any nature and Squad 12 constructed a complete replica of New York City. Roka knew he would have to pay a lot of money but due to his connections and funds he was not worried about it. He had his Zanpakto tied to his left hip. He rested his right hand on Kagehime and let his mind wander. Either he would be dead or his opponent. Roka calmed his mind and then used his extremly fast abilities to Shunpo to the nearest building as the Senkaimon closed behind him.
Roka appeared on top of a 12 story building. He examined the building top which was bland. Roka then sat indian style and closed his two normal eyes as he then began to control his breathing to keep his soul, body, and mind relaxed. He let his third eye wander around so he would not be surprised by any sneak attack. He then sat and waited and as he did so a gentle breeze began to blow as his scarfs danced in the wind ever so elegantly. ✲═━┈┈━═✲

 xx MAI | SENGU | MINTO_______________________________________________ .. "Sadly, your time must end."Commander's Assistant | Five-En Guard Night has fallen, caressing the abandoned city in darkness. The soft yellow of the street lights making circles along the winding streets. Mai, who rests on a rooftop, merely gazes about at the fake city filled with absolutely no life. She crosses her legs as a strong gust of wind tosses her burgundy locks about. She wears a tight-fitting body suit with several armory pieces on her shoulders, arms, and legs. This is her standard First Squadron uniform, modified to her liking. She doesn't wield her Zanpakuto, instead, she'll be using her knowledge of hand to hand, kido, and her Shunko. Perhaps leaving her blade was a bad idea, but she could care less. As a Five-En member, she was considered a Hybrid in all fields.
Mai looks down at the area, pinpointing several possible locations she could use in her advantage. This is a technique she learned from Kokoro; to know your battlefield is the first rule of combat. Being it is night, Mai surely would have the upper hand in terms of stealth. This is in fact a death match.
She plans to hold nothing back.
Suddenly, a sudden flair of spiritual energy causes the woman to become alert. It seems her enemy has appeared; the battle bat to now begin. Raising herself from the ledge, Mai looks at the Senkimon appear revealing a male figure adorned with a flailing scarf.
Roka Gravellia.
Mai cracks her neck as she watches him move to the building near her. She's cloaked her reaitsu, a technique she has been coined for amongst her counterparts. Slightly arching her back, the woman smiles. In a mere second, she has vanished appearing before the man with her right leg raised going for a downward strike. The force exulted causes the air around her to slightly pop. This man better think on his toes because Mai was out for blood.

Roka's third eye winded slightly as the woman appeared out of thin air but his other two eyes remained shut. As the woman's foot came down it would appear and feel like it would come into contact with Roka's head. However the instant afterward after contact Roka's body seemed to dissapear as if it used some teleportion. For in actuality Roka used the speed technique known as Utsusemi. This techniquie allows the user to move at such speeds it would seem like teleportation.
Roka would of course feel the strain on his body for using such a strong technique right off the back and he would not be able to use this technique again for quite some time. Roka appeared on the same building but on the edge as he quickly raised his hand and said " Shakkahō." Roka said with a firm tone and as he did a red ball of fire was fired at his target. "Sadly, your time must end."Commander's Assistant | Five-En Guard As her foot came down, Roka uses a fancy speed technique to avoid her attack. Mai, with a simple twist of her foot, balances herself on the ground with a slight spin. She looks to see Roka launch a Kido blast in her direction; much expected.
Flipping backwards quickly to regain her footing completely, Mai raises her palm towards the attack, "Bakudo 21: Sekienton" she says softly. Upon announcing this, a forceful blast launches fron her palm meeting with the Shakkahō Roka had launched.
The attacks collide, resulting in a burst of smoke. Taking this opportunity by the horns, Mai throws herself at Roka through the smoke at an fast rate.
I best take this guy head on. He appears to be fast enough. Surprise won't be on my side.
"Hado 54: Haien!" she says harshly flinging her left hand before the man letting out a purple flame. By moving her hand horizontally, she spreads the radius of the flames in the effort to incinerate Roka where he stands. By doing this, Mai has unknowningly left herself open in the haste to attack her foe head on.

Roka watched as events unfolded infront of him. As soon as smoke began to appear and as soon as this occured Roka played different events that could happen. Roka knew for a fact he had to be on his toes even though his opponent was not a captain she waa a secretary to the Commander which made her a good threat. As soon as she cleared through the smoke which Roka had predicted due to this tatic being one of the best stragetic moves, one would do in this sitiation.
Roka quicklied Shunpoed behind Mai within a meter distance and because this tatic had shunopo it seemed like Roka moved slower but still much faster than an average Soul Reaper. Thus he was out of the range of the kido but still at risk of getting burned if she turned. As he landed he quicklied crouched, grasped his zanpakto by the hilt with his right hand, and quicklied unsheathed it in a fast upward slanted slash as his body raised with the slash which in turn doubled the force and because of how close he was to Mai; If she did not move, she would defiantly be cut by the blade of Kagehime. ✲═━┈┈━═✲~ Utusesumi hold off for 9 post ~ "Are you prepared to meet your inner demon through my looking glass?"✲═━┈┈━═✲

"Sadly, your time must end."Commander's Assistant | Five-En Guard As Mai had guessed, the man evaded her full frontal attack and appears behind her aiming a speedy slice at her upper body with his blade. In her mind, the events unfolding seemingly pause as she calculates her moves. She could either activate her Shunko at this very moment, thereby which would negate his slash. Or, Mai could take the blow, turning herself slightly to minimize the wounding allowing a counteract to happen. Speed was her most valuable asset at this moment; decisions decisions in merely a second. Maybe leaving her blade behind was a bad idea.
Clicking her tongue, the woman harshly shifts herself using a fast shunpo allowing the blade to puncture the flesh on her forearm. A fresh wound sprouts emitting a fine spurt of crimson. First one to be wounded, how wonderful she thinks sarcastically. As the blade continues after making contact, Mai thrusts her other fist at Roka's face hoping to make contact.
Her hit, infused with a concentrated amount of reiryoku in the knuckles, whistles through the small distance of air between them. Small white sparks crackle as well, showing Mai has released a small amount of her Shunko reserves into her strike. That being said, this hit was no ordinary sucker punch.
Being that Roka just made a open slice at her, he seems to be open enough for the blow to make contact.

Roka knew the style of Shunko. Roka quicklied process the abilities of Shunko and knew that every hit that made contact with his body would hurt more than a normal punch. Before Roka could process all of the possibilities of Shunko, Roka quickly shifted his head and torse to where Mai's fist would hit Roka's cheeck.
Once the fist made contact Roka was pushed back but he held on tight to his Zanpakto so he would not loose it. Roka's feet skitted across the ground as the force pushed him back. Roka eventually stopped close to the edge. Roka lifted his hand to rub his cheeck. He knew for a fact that something was defiantly bruised if not cracled or fractured. Roka smiled with a snake like smile as he took off his haori and threw it off the building.
Roka had to assess the situation. Mai was good at close range combat, she was exprienced at agility and speed tatics but not like Roka so he had the upper hand there. However she had the upper hand at hand to hand combat. Roka smiled as he looked at his Zanpakto and saw it dripping with ruby crested blood. Roka smiled because he had a perfect plan.
Roka lifted his sword and spoke the words "Kurai and Reflect Kagehime." When he finished speaking a bliding light esculated into one giant flash. If one were to directly watch the event with thier eyes they would defiantly feel an effect. When the light died down it would reveal that Roka's Zanpakto had morphed into a floating mirror. The mirror floated around his chest and a wierd aura surrounded said mirror.
Roka's smile grew even more as a dark mist seeped out of the mirror. The mist than began to circulate around Roka and the mirror at a very fast and deadly pace. The mist looked like a rough tide in a storm. Roka waited like a snake preying on a victim. "Sadly, your time must end."Commander's Assistant | Five-En Guard Smiling as her hit made contact, Mai throws herself back landing on a elevated rock that shattered via her Shunko activation. The white sparks flicker as she stands only to see Roka release his Zanpakuto. The mirror appears before the man and Mai immediately flips backwards like feline, concentrating her reiryoku flow to her feet. The result is a shatter of the roof and various stone debris flying at Roka full front. Mai on the other hand takes the opportunity to relocate so she'll somehow gain the upper hand. Currently free falling down the tall skyscraper, she looks at various spots. Open terrain will work better for him, perhaps the streets with various cars. she thinks looking at the congested street below. Deciding on this location, Mai plants her feet on the building side so she can skid down it's base causing minimal damage.
She leaps from the building as she approaches the ground barrel-rolling to halt herself. Mai then stands on a taxi waiting for Roka to join her down below. The sparks from her Shunko cause the area surrounding her to be illuminated with white light.

Roka figured what Mai was doing. Roka also knew Mai's strength's and he figured out how to play them against her. Roka's mist quickly formed into a soild circular shield that deflected the rocks but of course little fractures formed where the rocks collided with the mist because of the speed shunko pushed them at. He knew that Mai was not trying her best but Roka figured he could not be so lucky. He knew for a fact if he slipped up once, Mai would take advantage of it. After the rock barrage was done the shield crumbled to mist form.
Roka then began to walk off the building to where white light had emitted from due to Mai's Shunko. Eventually Roka was off the building but directly paraell to the top of the building and he stayed there due to the technique Air Walk. Roka looked down at Mai and formed a sacred Tiger sign with his left hand as the mirror angeled to reflect Mai's image perfectly along with the yellow taxi she was standing on. Roka then casted his hand slightly as the mist quickly shot out from the roof towards Mai at a extremly fast pace and if she did not move, Mai would be cut to pieces. ✲═━┈┈━═✲~ Utusesumi hold off for 7 post ~ "Are you prepared to meet your inner demon through my looking glass?"✲═━┈┈━═✲

"Sadly, your time must end."Commander's Assistant | Five-En Guard Mai quickly shunpos from the taxi as it's ripped to pieces by Roka's strange mirror. She now stands near a white van, her figure cloaked from view. She seals her Shunko back and squats down collecting herself. It seems that his mirror only needs capture my image to attack. she thinks quickly again analysing the area around her. Quickly laying out a strategy in her head, Mai vanishes with Shunpo to appear running up the building at Roka. As she does, her form alters and various clones appear running alongside her. Being a master of speed, this technique doesn't require a lot out of her. Each clone appears to real which will make it difficult for Roka to pin-point which is real. The clones, fifteen exactly, all launch two kurenai at Roka. Even though they all appear real, only two kurenai are actually real in the bunch.

Roka was slightly annoyed when Mai moved from the taxi and when his mist tore the taxi to shreds and not Mai herself. He had planned something else but now that she had moved he would have to stick with this whole mist thing for a bit longer. Roka then noticed Mai running up a building towards his side and then she used a fancy speed technique to make fifteen clones of herself to thrown kurenai at him. Roka knew for a fact only two of these were real but he would not take a chance. He smiled and spoke with a tone that sounded like "what is that it?" as he said "Bakudo 68, Flowering Whirlwind, Barrier of Wind." A tornado of wind arose around Roka so when the Kurenai came close the two real Kurenai as the illusionary would be blown away from his general direction thus missing him.
Inside the fifteen diameter of the eye, Roka quicklied moved his hand in the direction that he last remembered Mai was and the mist quickly followed his general command as it rushed towards Mai's general direction towards Mai or her clones. He knew he did not need Mai's reflection to move the mist and use the mist to it's full power. However since Roka did not have a clear eye shot he could not pinpoint Mai's current location so the Mist did not move as fast or as deadly, if it made contact it would only cause minor cuts in various regions of the body. ✲═━┈┈━═✲~ Utusesumi hold off for 6 post ~ "Are you prepared to meet your inner demon through my looking glass?"✲═━┈┈━═✲
