I think that's true to an extreme. As a generality, I've seen most people outside of Texas to be less approachable and generally more uptight than what I'm used to, but every time I leave state I go to a show, and it's always the same. It's like a club, and every town has a club house where you can go find other people that know you before they meet you.

We all have monsters inside us and skeletons in the closet and yet...for just 5 minutes, I am not alone. These are some of the songs Ive connected to most in the last couple of years... I love metal, but personally, the culture surrounding metal bothers me. Honestly, the metal subculture seems just as conformist and dogmatic as with top 40 pop music fans.
