 Athena sat up in her dorm, grading the quizzes. She had out a red pen, and though she wasn't as harsh as she normally would've been, she was still a pretty harsh person. Anything less than an eighty-five percent was unsatisfactory to the young woman, and resulted in a detention with her at some point of her choosing. Not this evening, and not the following day either, but in two day's time whoever had "failed" her assessment was going to be spending quality time with Mrs. Lyon until they got it into their heads the material that was needed. She would not waste anymore class time than she already had on the topic. ”Miss Watanbe... ” She "read" -more like Noctowl said to her via telepathy what was written- the first question. Seriously? She didn't know that ghost types and normal types had a mutual immunity? Athena didn't even bother reading the rest of the quiz: if somebody couldn't even answer that very first question correctly, then the rest wasn't even worth looking over. Uncaringly, she held the piece of paper with her right hand, holding it out for Noctowl. "Noctowl, Heat Wave." Right on cue, the paper burned to a crisp. "Miyako Watanbe... Zero." She wrote it down on the notepad to her left. A few more papers were marked up, all of them passing. Mister Odon's had already been graded a little bit ago. He really didn't score that poorly by the standards of any normal teacher, but since he didn't read the criteria he was still to stay after for "quality time". Miss Haruno's was, as expected, a very good grade. "Miss Haruno... Ninety-seven." She wrote it in red on the top of her paper, making sure that it was visible. "Mister Keliikoa... Wow. Hundred-two percent, excellent job." Even Athena was impressed by any score above hundred. So far, that was the first one like that. Question is: Would there be more? Several more were graded, the majority passing but one barely missed the mark (and NPC), a miss Valerie Hartsel in her second period class. That made three. "Oh... Miss Taylor..." "Nice. Perfect score." Noctowl commented, and Athena nodded her agreement. "And not a bad drawer either." Thoroughly impressed with the only perfect score she'd given so far, Athena gladly wrote in big bold print the highest grade possible on the quiz, adding a comment of "Awesome job! Keep up the good work!" next to it. Only a handful left, and once done, she collected up her papers and wrote onto a long chart the names of every one of her students then wrote their quiz score on it.
She then posted it up on the front of her office/dorm door, so that way if any students were interested in knowing their grade, they would know.

”Your parents are so careless!” Athena complained to Damian, looking over at the levitating Beldum. Those weirdos... Apparently, after they'd left for the more distant parts of Phior, the two of them forgot to double-check that all of their Pokémon were inside of their freaking pokeballs and left behind their poor Beldum! Fortunately, upon calling them up to let them know what'd happened to Beldum, they were aware of their mistake, asked if Beldum was okay, and upon receiving a good response Jessica and Tyler Lyon informed Athena that'd they'd be back around in about a month and a half and would retrieve Beldum then. Until that vague point in time occurred, Athena was stuck with her in-law's pokeball-less Beldum. Splendid.
"Tell me something I don't know." Damian agreed full-heartedly with his arms around her waist. He was up for the week, seeing as how it was his turn to take Tabby for the next two months, up until winter break. Once winter break happened, Athena would fly out to the Orange Islands, spend the break there, pick Tabby back up, and fly back to Phior to take their little girl for the following two months; so on and so forth. The blond-haired man and sighed, equally frustrated with his mother and father as his wife was. "Don't worry, they'll definitely be sure to come back. They wouldn't intentionally leave somebody behind."
A sudden eruption of giggling, and Tabby came running into her mother and father with Damian's Dragonair. The large blue serpent was playing race-and-chase with the adorable, caramel-skinned, dark-haired, and green-eyed Tabitha Lyon. When it finally "caught up" with little Tabby, the friendly dragon was quick to start nuzzling and tickling her.
Seeing his little girl so happy, Damian's grin grew wide and mischievious. "Aaarrrggghhh it's the tickle monster!" He let go of Athena in order to playfully "capture" his baby girl and start tickling her with the help of his trusty Dragonair. But then! Another fantastic idea sprung into the ingenius mind of the bleach-blond. "I know! Let's get mama!"
"What!?"
"Get her!"

After it was made clear that the presentation wasn't going to happen, Athena was quick to drag her prisoner detention-ee up to the dorm for his sentence. As soon as they entered the doorway, she sent out all six of her Pokémon from their Pokeballs and Damian did the same thing. Tabby on the other hand, continued to cuddle with her Shuckle.
”Alright, Kazu, looks like it'll be just you today. Iris told me earlier this morning that she wasn't going to be attending tutoring. So it sucks to be you, that you don't get a friend.” She crossed her arms, looking at her student. Damian just took a seat on the floor with Tabby, laughing at the whole thing. With a quick motion of her hand, Luxray and Mightyena were the first of her Pokémon to step forward. "Luxray needs to be checked for electric fleas and ticks. Especially ticks, they have a tendency to bite him and it hurts a lot when he gets enough of them. Make sure you are not near anything liquid, and that you're completely dry. Then he'll need his fur brushed out with this-" She tossed him a special brush specifically designed to withstand Luxray's electrical build-ups. Luxray also enjoyed being scratched with the metal bristles, something that Iris had figured out earlier on in her detention last year. "I'll spare you of discharging him of his electrical build-ups, today. That'll wait until after Halloween, which I don't expect you to come tomorrow, since I'll be out with my husband and daughter. However, that only postpones when you'll be done serving detention for me!"
She sat down, taking her shoes and socks off. "Then when you're done with Luxray, you get to give Mightyena a bath. I'll give you the rest of your instructions once the main two have been taken care of. Don't worry, I'll show you how to groom Luxray. I won't make you figure it out on your own."

High like the stars in the sky guiding us all』  ╊━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╉ Of all things to be delayed today, why did it have to be Taku's presentation? Who would be such an a** as to screw with the the connections and wiring like that? As soon as the sound system was switched on, a static feed back filled the auditorium, only getting louder and louder until they quickly turned it off again. Upon examination of the system, someone had actually opened the system's casing earlier and unplugged and even reconnected into the wrong ports, a bunch of cords for the microphones, speakers and other important equipment. So with the presentation a failure for the day, having been rescheduled another day, Kazuma had reluctantly followed Athena and her family to her dorm where she began listing off what he needed to do. He caught the special brush, being careful not to let the bristles poke him too much. " Yes, ma'am... Alright, Luxray. let's get this over with..." He carefully approached Luxray and began using the brush. Once he started, wearing rubber gloves, he made sure to brush every inch of hair, though he could hear some kind of noise... Was something irritated? He quickly found out what it was when, after a few minutes of brushing, getting close to Luxray's rump, a Joltik jumped out of the thick fur onto Kazuma's face. The moment it latched, it used Sting shot, Kazuma's little struggle sending him onto his back. The moment he pulled off the String Shot from his face, he was hit in the face once more with Electroweb. But Cathair was quick to react when he came out and used Confusion on the Joltik, catching it by surprise. The Confusion even left the little electric bug pokemon confused! After a quick use of one of his fresh pokeballs, he encased the Joltik inside, watching it wobble about until it finally clocked. Cathair stood there, making sure to use Confusion over and over to keep Joltik from doing anything, though he certainly was left very tired afterward. While Kazuma was still trying to shake off the Electricity from the Electroweb, he did manage to catch that darned Joltik. His pokedex rang with a notice he was already at his six pokemon limit. and needed to send one to the PC. He decided to let Egil go have some time with Mawile and sent the Meowth out, keeping the Joltik with him. He picked up the pokeball and stored it away. " That... Was annoying...Gah!" Seemed another Joltik wanted revenge and ambushed the back of his head.
