A tongue licked across Annie's face. She'd grown accustomed to sleeping in. But the tickle of the little and quick licks roused her to wake. "Tony!" She chuckled, pushing off the little face and sitting up to look. Nine! Nine nine! Nina barked. That's right. Tony was still gone... She fell back in her bed, then slowly looked around the wide and open room. It was empty, minus Nina and Lucy (her wake up call). She sighed, turning and reaching her arms across the empty side of her bed. It was cold, smooth and unused. Then she rolled back, looking at her calendar. August 15. "I just thought he'd be back by now..." She sighed again, staring at the calendar before looking at her clock. It was late. August fifteenth... "Shoot! That's today! Isn't it?" She jumped from bed, Nina barking at her more adamantly while Lucy stretched out and yawned.
A quick few step and she threw her closet door open, looking for whatever it was she'd planned to lay out for today. Of all days! And as it always is, she couldn't find it again. "You've gotta be kidding..." She foraged through her closet. "I guess this will have to do today." She pulled something out of her closet at last, and hurried to the rest of her suite in search of shoes. Today of all days to be running late!

 Antonio "Tony" Reyes They call me the, "Monster of Adell" Antonio stared at the door waiting outside for some kind of sign. He just recently returned to Phior and spend some time traveling through the region before he finally arrived to Adell. He did a lot of good during his travels, flying from town to town in nearly every region on his Dragonite. However, he also did a lot of bad things and they were constantly on his mind. This was the main reason why he was so reluctant to return to Adell and the academy and why he spend the previous week traveling through the Phior region. He couldn't put his return off any longer because today, August 15, was the day the new students would be arriving. He had a job to do here and if he was any more late than Annie would be sad.
This would be his home for the year and not just his home alone, but Annie's as well. She surprised him with the idea, but he wasn't against it in the beginning. This suite was being built when he left and it was suppose to strengthen his love for Annie. Initially he was still feeling conflicted about their relationship, but maybe those feelings would be gone once they lived together. He would need that believe now more than ever.
Antonio was given a key before leaving the academy and now he was playing with that key in his hands. He took a deep breath and put the key in the hole. Then slowly turned opening the lock and pushing the door open. When he peeked inside her spotted a familiar sight which brought a smile to his face. She was looking around kind of frantically, holding a black dress, she had bed hair and she was wearing small shorts; very small shorts. Even in the early morning Annie was as still breathtaking. Antonio gently put his luggage on the floor and made his way towards his cute prey.
With a devilish grin, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into so that her back was pressed against his chest. He rested his chin on her shoulder, "guess who?"Current Team:       Storage:

Annie was scooped up, a surprised gasp leaving her mouth. She was about to fight her way out when she heard that voice. At first, she didn't believe it was really him. But twisting her neck around, she saw him! It really was him! "Tony!" She perked right up, trying to spin around for a kiss. She grabbed hold of his face, pulling him down to her. She'd missed him, more than she even realized. And she kissed him over and over. "I almost can't believe it!" She seemed on the verge of tears. But they were happy ones. And she kissed him again. She would have gone on, except that Nina pushed her way between them to lick up Tony's face. "Nina!" Annie laughed as she scolded the ninetails. Then from the corner of her eyes, she caught where she'd laid out her first choice in cloths. "Huh... There it is..." She looked back at Tony. "My good luck charm!" She teased at him, finally just wrapping him in a hug and making a Nina sandwich. "You have to tell me everything! Where'd you go this time around?" She let go, tossing out the dark blue dress for the red one to change. It wasn't like Tony had never seen her naked before. Or her pokemon for that matter!

Antonio "Tony" Reyes They call me the, "Monster of Adell" Antonio gladly returned every kiss that Annie showered him with. Seeing her look so happy just from him being there made his heart soar. She didn't act anything like that when they met last year. Eventually they were stopped by Annie's Ninetales who apparently was happy to see him as well. Getting all these kisses from all these lovely females was sure nice. Antonio petted Nina until he was embraced by Annie once more, but this time Nina was caught in the middle. When he was finally released, he was ready to answer Annie's question until she decided to take her dress off. Antonio stopped everything momentarily. He walked up to Annie and stopped her from putting on the red dress she was getting ready to wear. He grabbed two pokeballs from his belt and summoned his own Ninetales and Shinx. "Guys, go play with Annie's pokemon in the other room, alright?" Ninetales nodded and Shinx was already long gone following after Annie's Luxray. He was excited about seeing a pokemon very similar to him. He tried playing with Lucy's tail; he was no longer a cub, but he was very playful.
Meanwhile, Ninetales approached Nina trying to look as elegant as he could. He always had a crush on Nina ever since she was Vulpix, but because he was so terribly shy he never tried capturing her heart. He was fully evolved Ninetales now and a very powerful pokemon making him a suitable mate, right? He was growing nervous already! Nonetheless he tried his best to steer Nina towards the other room as Antonio instructed. The humans needed their privacy.
Antonio's hands slid down Annie's arms until they held her hands. He took the dress from her and placed on a chair nearby. He turned Annie towards him and held her in his arms, "I'll tell you, but first I would like to get settled in." His hands were starting to descend from her shoulders down to her back.Current Team: Storage:

Annie wasn't aware of Tony's plan in the least, having some tunnel vision and frantic to start getting things together. She hadn't even noticed her pokemon leave! Nina had always been overly playful. It was luck that the trio from days back had all ended up with fire types in their breeding courses. Nina had known all of them her entire life. But she never outgrew that playful youth she had as a youngling. She pawed at Tony's ninetails, swatting it on the head once or twice successfully before pouncing on it and running off. Nina had completely ignored Ninetail's attempt to court, riddled with energy and following with excitement anything that moved. Lucy, on the other hand, was a bit of a prune; always acting her age. As the shinx pounced and batted to play with her tail, she growled and groaned, annoyed and complaining about it.
It wasn't until the door clicked closed (likely deliberate) that Annie started to catch on. "Tony..." She tried to be serious. But she hadn't seen him all summer, and the closeness now was... it made her face glow pink. "Tony, I'm already late!" Her voice went down into a whisper, able to taste his breath. Her skin trembled as he took off the remaining cover. "Tony..." She was already late, and wanted so much to have woken up next to him every day that he was gone. She gave in.

(Before the assembly at the auditorium) Antonio "Tony" Reyes They call me the, "Monster of Adell" Antonio enjoyed watching Annie growing weaker against him with every passing second. He could hear it in her speech and feel it on her skin. She was giving in and normally Annie didn't give in to him this easily meaning she really missed him. Once she gave in completely, there was nothing left to do, but take her to the couch. He grabbed her hand pulled her naked body along towards the couch. Once she was seated, he stood in front of her and begin to take off his jacket. His shirt followed next exposing his muscular body to her. While Antonio's eyes were getting reacquainted with Annie's lovely figure, his hand traveled south to unbuckle his belt and unbutton his pant. He leaned forward and kissed her. He laid her down on the couch while his body hovered over her naked form.
In a separate room, Ninetales was trying to keep up with the energetic Nina who continued to tackle him much to his embarrassment. Having contact with her was happening too soon! He didn't think that he would get this much action until their third date, but Nina was definitely skipping a few steps or just plainly ignoring them. Ninetales was not playful like her, he was much too shy as a Vulpix to learn the proper way to play and by the time he became a full 'adult' it was already too late for him. So here he was trying to play to the best of his knowledge, but it seemed that all Nina wanted to do was pounce on him then run away. He heard this game was called 'tag'. Shinx was having a better time, but it seemed that his fun was only one-sided because Lucy didn't seem to care much for the little cub. However, that did not discourage him from pawing at her tail. Eventually he got bored so he started climbing on top of Lucy reaching her back where he started to get comfortable.
Antonio's kissed with Annie was growing more intimate by the second. His hands traveled through her body trying to remember how it felt after the months he spend away from her. They had some time to spare before the ceremony started and Antonio would make sure they spend every last minute together. If they were going to be late than what did a couple more minutes mean? They were already late.

Annie's alarm went off. Clumsy and asleep, she reached around to turn it off. Yesterday was exhausting in itself. It always was with Tony, no matter what they were doing. She moaned in displeasure at her alarm, and rolled over. Though, she was stopped short by a big lump of something. Something hard and fleshy. She finally opened her eyes, her face almost in Tony's neck. She'd rolled into his muscular body, and smiled. He was still asleep. But there was nothing that made her happier than waking up next to him. She snuggled in closer, trying to steal some of his warmth; but it was still august, and the days warmed up quickly. Maybe no one would miss her for the first few minutes of the day. Right now, right where she was, she didn't want to do anything else.

"Tony..." Annie moaned as she felt his hands wonder off, and slid them off of her. Whatever had gotten into him last night, that he missed her or something else, another round would keep her bedridden for the day. Or maybe longer... She loved him, missed him, and loved being with him--close to him--but he seemed... a little different from earlier that day. It was like he was distant or distracted. Annie had only shrugged it off as her own paranoia. Antonio Reyes loved her, and that was enough.
She rolled over again, stretching out and feeling tender. With a loud and lazy sigh, she finally reopened her eyes. "I still have to get to work..." She complained. "Mister Sukizu is supposed to be coming tomorrow... I need him to like the place for him to donate to the school. One of the biggest donors on the board, and I don't think he's ever happy with the school. I've never even seen him smile..." She tossed off the covers, taking the first wobbly step down onto the cool floor. "You remember him, right? Short, tan, big glasses, going bald... He wears a rug of hair on his head now." Learning to walk again was a frustrating experience. But it had to get done. The school had to be in order, relying heavily on donations by the school board chair holders. Things needed to be ready.
"Have you seen that cream shirt I only wear when I have to do something grown up and boring like dad?" She opened up drawer after drawer. "I hate that stupid thing, but Dad... Oh man, Dad..." She sighed and sat down on the bed. "I'm going to be gone tomorrow afternoon. I promised I would visit him more often..." That was true. But despite all her visits, her father's condition had taken over. He didn't remember his little girl anymore. Even Annie wasn't sure what was more painful: seeing him or neglecting to. "I'll be back in time for dinner!" She tried to cover that hurt. The worse part of her father's alzheimer's disease was that it had taken hold of him even before Team Rocket's raid. "I got a lot better at my own culinary skills! Haha! And I'm thinking of making spicy meatballs--like how Marcello's had. What do you think?" She worked on a smile at him.

Antonio "Tony" Reyes They call me the, "Monster of Adell" Antonio frowned, fully awake now, when Annie rolled off his grip and decided to get up and do work. Antonio moaned, he was older yet he wasn't as responsible as his partner. He sat up stretching while yawning, he had a great sleep! But now that the memories were coming back of yesterday's event, he was reminded why he wanted to forget in the first place. If Annie left then he would have to stay alone with his thoughts which was very dangerous at this point. Antonio nodded at Annie mentioned a Mister Sukizu, he wasn't really paying much attention since he was still trying to mentally prepare himself for the day. However, he did not miss that change of tone when Annie mentioned her father. He had heard about his condition, not through Annie, but through his own means. The room seem to grow dangerously quiet.
Antonio was already getting out of bed, he was shirtless of course and probably would have been pant-less too, but he actually managed to put his pants on before leaving the bed. He walked over to Annie and placed his hands on her shoulders to stop her. "You don't have to do this you know? Covering up, making people believe you are fine and nothing is wrong." He was being serious about this, Annie was never straightforward. She always dodged the question when it became too uncomfortable or emotional. "Why don't we go see your father together next time?" He smiled at her hoping she would accept his offer. Current Team: Storage:

Annie looked up at Tony, past the muscles, past the scars, past the hair and everything else. Antonio Reyes was being serious... and sensitive? She smiled, forcing a gentle grin. As hard as she tried to think of some lie to tell and avoid being honest with her emotion, when she looked at Tony--and when he stared back--she couldn't come up with a good enough lie. "I have to stay strong..." Her voice quieted without her permission, and her head ducked away. "I think Martha was the smart one: leaving to go to Johto. I don't know the right thing to do with this anymore..." She rubbed on her eyes, stopping herself from crying and smiled back at Tony with a nod. "Next time." She squeezed his hand a moment, assuring him that she would be just fine. She just had to not think about it. It really was a tragedy, seeing a Phoenix slowly lose his mind and forget the most precious things to him.
"Okay...!" She took in a deep breath, gathering herself before getting up. "You're going to help me right? I'll take care of all the really frustratingly-boring stuff. So I'm going to need you to look the school over and talk with maintenance to make sure nothing needs repair." She fetched out her undergarments, walking further (and stiff) to grab something decent to wear. The school had been fully replaced with almost every corner; Annie's own paranoia threw that detail out the window. "Then just take a quick look into all the classes going on today. Just a quick one! Make sure that nothing too out of hand is going on? I know Jorge has a temper, but he's one of the best breeders--refusing him would probably cause an uproar. I don't think he'll do anything too extreme. I'm more worried about Athena, John Riles, Lillith, and Zeva Morshed. Zeva's just starting here... Hands on is good, but I wonder about those four in parti--" She stopped a moment, pulling out the first things she found in a drawer. "And Lyra Heart. I'm a little nervous about her... As long as we don't get too many complaints, I think we'll be fine. It'll be up to Sukizu on how much he likes the school after that. Apparently you can put a price on education..." She began to mutter, making a fuss in a fight to get dressed.
"I think that's everything..." She said, victorious over her jeans and combing out her hair. "I'll be a lot more relaxed when his visit is over. If you need extra eyes, you can take my pokemon with you. Claws takes the school seriously. He's such a tattle-tail! Even today! I don't think I could hide from a boring meeting if I wanted to with him skulking around..."

October was just around the corner, and morning was in the wake of the day. The annoying morning alarm went off, and Annie reached out blindly to turn it off. She muttered and groaned, rolling over and bumping into a hot and hard body. She smiled, keeping her eyes closed and puling herself close to kiss his back. "Tony..." She called softly. "Tony, we have to get up." She took in a long and stretching sigh, sporting one of Antonio's sports jerseys as her night shirt as she stretched out her body. The air was cool for a change; not hot or stuffed. She flipped her legs over, letting her feet fall onto the cool floor. As she did, she grumbled a little, feeling light headed. "Hopefully things will finally settle and be normal." She said, holding her head as she got up. It'd been a long September of heat stroke and random food poisonings; Annie had been sick most of the month. Then a sweet and tart smell caught her attention. Looking through the flat, she noticed a small plate of Lemon tarts: one of her favorite sweet treats!
Except for now... When her stomach stirred. She held a hand over her mouth, making a b-line for her bathroom to let out the reminents of... nope, she didn't even have a dinner last night. The vomit was clean of any food, but still coming. "Okay... I really don't get it," She complained to her toilet. "I thought it was sunstroke, but then it went away--and I thought maybe it was that seafood... Now I really don't know what it is!" Another round of head-in-toilet began.
