 Combatants:Jousake Hiroshi vs. Kokoro no Tennyou Arena DetailsLarge flowing waterfalls. Several abandoned temples on protruding rocks. At the bottom of the falls are jagged rocks. Backstory: Set 200 years ago, Jousake has challenged Kokoro for her title as Captain-Commander. Kokoro is ubaware of who has challenged her.

...An the Tale Goes... xxxx"Ha! Say!" Kokoro spouts as her fists thrust forward quickly, following with a strong higher leveled kick. The woman, absent of her haori, wears a simple Karate garb with a black wrapped around the waist. Her long white hair now is in a high side ponytail, flailing about as she strikes the air. Some sweat is on her brow, and she breathes softly. Kokoro now kicks her left leg up, jumping from the ground lifting her right to land with a swift swipe. Her moves are elegant but the mere force exuded causes the wood from the red bridge she stands on to creak.
xxxxKokoro's Zanpakuto lies upon a nearby rock on top of the neatly folded haori reading "One". She awaits here, practising her Karate skills waiting for her combatant to appear. Whoever he or she may be, they'd feel the full force of the woman's fists.

As Kokoro continued with her training, Jousake roamed around the landscape, as he was in no rush to meet up with his soon to be opponent. Admittantly, he wasn't very excited with the prospect of fighting an old friend and strong ally to the Hiroshi Noble House, but alas, this had to be done. Sighing, Jousake looked around, as he enjoyed the beauty and tranquility that was before him, as this brought his mind to ease.
However, Jousake knew that this peace would be short and not long lived. Once arriving within earshot of the main waterfall, Jousake knew that he was close, as he could sense Kokoro's spiritual pressure for quite sometime. He was close, and Jousake quietly prepared himself for what was to come. Once arriving a few yards from his opponent, Jousake smiled, as he introduced himself in a rather flamboyant fashion.
"Ayo! Commander Tennyou! So I see that you're my opponent for this occasion now, eh? What a true shame this is. I personally hate having to fight old friends, but it can't be helped now can it?" Sighing, Jousake simple stood there, as the wind blow against his hair and haori, as they gracefully danced with the wind. Admitantly, Jousake was actually terrified of the prospect of having to face Commander Tennyou.
She was a well respected woman in her own right for being a remarkable leader and was in her own right a true force of nature. Her skill in zanjutsu was incredible and her overall presence on the battlefield was truly a terrifying sight, especially when enraged. However, Jousake wasn't a lightweight in his own right. The man was perhaps the only man in the history of the Gotei 13 to have such and extensive track record and such a legendary reputation among his peers. More importantly, he was the only shinigami to date to have ever turned down a promotion to the Royal Guard.
At least Jousake was aware of the fight he was going to get himself engaged in, and wasn't ready to back down for this challenge. "I'm sorry Koko for having to do this." Sighing, Jousake stood there, as he awaited for his opponent to finish getting ready for the duel that was to come. "Just love life and the party happens effortlessly." ▭ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓

...An the Tale Goes... xxxxKokoro stops, rising from her stance back towards the visitor. "Ah...Jousake Hiroshi. You're the one challenging me for my rank, eh? Funny. I always thought it'd be Kazama who'd try and take it." she says softly. She cracks neck, reaching into the pockets of her gi taking out a pair of crimson gloves. On the knuckles are four circular pieces of metal. She slids them on, cracking the joints in unison. "I hope you don't die too quickly." she says sharply, a vicious smile spreading across her lips. Her Zanpakuto remained on the nearby rock, she making no action to pick the nodachi up.
xxxxAs the waters beside them roared, Kokoro extends her hands outward, fists clenched. With a slow exhale, she pushes off of the wooden bridge, charging full on at Jousake at an alarming speed. She's channelling a concentrated amount of reiryoku into the bottoms of her bare feet allowing a boost of speed. This technique is one of the various Tennyou tricks. Once in front of him, Kokoro thrusts her fist downwards hitting the bridge with a powerful force. The result is enough to cause the wood to split sending the Captain into the air allowing Kokoro to take the advantage from below.

Chuckling, Jousake's smile soon disappeared after seeing Kokoro fully prepared. There was a reason why this woman was appointed Captain Commander, and Jousake was going to be reminded just why she was given such a role. Without a moment's notice, Jousake immediately jumped up, as he narrowly avoid the floor beneath him collapse.
Using shunpu, he appeared behind her and summoned forth a green bow, as he drew back the drawstring, as a bright green arrow materialized.
"Hadō #41, Hari Kan!” He then fired off three arrows, as he wasn't holding back against his old friend. Then appearing on roof of one of the temples, Jousake looked down, as he waited to see just what would happen. If she was hit, Jousake would resume his onslaught of kido attacks. However, if she dodged his attack, which was the most likely outcome of the two, he would up his kido and resume said onslaught.

...An the Tale Goes... xxxxFlipping backwards, Kokoro watches as Jousake initiates a Kido spell sending three powerfully charged Kido arrows in her directions. With a small smirk, Kokoro runs towards the oncoming attack approaching one of the arrows. Clenching her left fist, Kokoro quickly strikes the arrow causing it to turn left into the pouring water opposite the red bridge. Next, she dodges the second arrow and quickly does the same for the third. Still running, Kokoro leaps from the bridge to one of the smaller temples next to Jousake. She launches herself towards him extending her left leg at his chest.
xxxxKokoro applies an extreme amount of force into her foot hoping to knock the man backwards off of the building edge. She has her right hand clenched for a counter move in case he were to dodge or even counter her.

Kokoro was quick to preferm a counter strike, as she effortlessly dodged his kido. Jousake wasn't surprised by this, as his opponent after all was the Captain Commander of the Gotei 13. Though Jousake wasn't going to back down, or let alone show fear during this fight, no matter how terrifying Kokoro was on the battlefield. He noticed that she came flying towards him, as her leg came straight towards his chest.
"Bakudō#19,Kōsei Kubun!" With that, Jousake throw his arm upwards, dragging a hexagonal tessellation out of the ground. As Kokoro's leg hit the shield, it temporarily stopped her attack, before it suddenly cracked by the sheer force the woman exerted with her attack. Immediately moving using shunpu, Jousake barely avoided Koko's attack. He stood again on another nearby roof, as he remained observant of his opponent. "Just love life and the party happens effortlessly." ▭ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓

...An the Tale Goes... xxxxJousake evades her attack, using another Kido spell to stunt her kick. As her foot passes through the barrier, Kokoro performs a small roundabout landing on the titles. Standing up, Kokoro still wears the same vicious smile. "You're quite slippery, Hiroshi." Kokoro says lifting her hands before her. Concentrating her reiryoku into her fists, Kokoro inhales then punches the roof causing a large chunk of the structure to rise. Once it stands diagonally, Kokoro then strikes the chunk sending it in Jousake's direction.
xxxxKokoro then vanishes, now using Shunpo, to follow the projectile. She straightens her body, spinning slightly, with clasped hands. "Bakudo 37: Tsuriboshi" she says softly opening her hands releasing the spell. Ideally, she hopes that the projectile will knock Jousake from his feet. Then, the Bakudo spell would then be used to plant him against the roof allowing Kokoro to land a blow to him up close. The "ropes" produced would anchor themselves to the roof sides, and the net would pull Jousake down. This spell is experimental for Kokoro, being that it is usually used defensively. A little experimentation never hurt.

Him being slippery? Please. Well sure he did use a rather weak kido spell to defend himself against the Captain Commander, and sure he had yet to land a successful blow on his opponent, but that didn't matter to Jousake. He only worried about avoid any of Kokoro's strikes and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
Noticing her new series of attacks, Jousake raised his palm, as a red ball of energy started to charge from his palm. "Hadō #31. Shakkahō!" Firing off the spell, it destroyed the chuck of the structure that came flying towards Jousake, as he then used shunpu to avoid Kokoro once more. He stood on top of a nearby tree, as he carefully kept his eye on her. "Damn. She sure as hell isn't holding back at all right now. Though I still can't start losing hope so early in the fight..." "Just love life and the party happens effortlessly." ▭ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓

...An the Tale Goes... Barrel-rolling onto the roof, Kokoro rises as the smoke clears from collision of their attacks. Her white hair flails in the wind as the breeze picks up from the waterfalls. Looking down, Kokoro eyes her Zanpakuto which still lies dormant on the rock nearby. With a soft inhale, Kokoro steadies herself planting both barefeet on the tile firmly. Jousake's constant dodging is starting to aggravate the Commander; despite the small frustration, she understands his tactic. Her reiryoku-charged strikes are truly something one wouldn't want to make contact with. Her karate style simply wouldn't work at long range, instead requiring more proximity. I've got to knock him off his balance and then strike. the Commander thinks glancing at her surroundings. Jousake is currently standing on a tree in the small forest area. Kokoro smiles again, her reaitsu levels ascending slightly, Perfect she thinks. The forest will offer a more complicated terrain for constant evasion.
Kokoro shunpos to her Zanpakuto, grabbing the long nodachi, and then to the forest floor. She's now running through it's thickets to the tree Jousake stands on. Approaching it, Kokoro uses her sheathed blade to strike the tree's base causing it to snap in half. She then vanishes, appearing above Jousake with a well-aimed kick heading at him in the attempt to send him To the ground below.
