Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
Ron watched her think through his idea, smiling as she agreed to it before they had found a grocery store, Marietta exiting almost as soon as they had arrived before Ron got out and followed, taking a cart before he caught up. His gaze was now on the isle listings as they passed through them, reading what each sign said as he followed. He then heard her comment on the fact of alcohol before he smirked.
"Unlike vegetable oil, normal alcohol doesn't come in as large a bottle, nor is it as destructive, making it far more difficult to harm the Hydra if we tried it." Ron spoke as he found the isle and soon walked past her and into it, his gaze on each shelf before he found one that was the cheapest, taking eight bottles off the rack. "Along with this, the original molotov wasn't made of alcohol, but of a gasoline and motor oil mix, and that would be far to dangerous to attempt mixing. Besides, alcohol that's set on fire isn't as dangerous when you consume it or touch it as people might think, which can be proven by one alcoholic beverage that's made in Mexico or the magic tricks used by people involving the substance."
'Though that doesn't count for all alcohol, most of the kind that we would need wouldn't be found in this town, so we'll have to make due with this.' Ron thought to himself, placing the bottles into the cart as he turned and looked at the shelf, his mind still in thought on the matter.
Irok: And that's thinking that you would come out of this alive.
Marietta shrugged and agreed with his explanation to the use of vegetable oil. She usually didn't think of the danger it would cause to her. She just thought of the quickest and strongest way. Although, it would be nice to come out of this alive. Since she was with someone as sane and thoughtful as Ron, she had this feeling that she might. "Alright, well if that's all we need then let's get out of here. The sooner this mission is over, the better." She sighed. Walking over to an empty checkout, she smiled politely at the cashier. Even though her gaze was a bit weary. Countless bottles of oil, cloth, and random items of food. It was a bit sketchy. "Have a good day." Marietta threw in. It sounded monotone and uncaring, but that's just because she was now in game mode. As the two made their was back to the Mustang, Marietta informed Ron of where they would be heading. "I found the one place that would fit our criteria, and it is not far from here at all, only a minute or two." She explained. Then before she got into the car she gave the boy a serious look. "Be careful and on guard. If something incapacitates me, carry on and continue the mission." She spoke. There was no sympathy or compassion in her eyes. This was a job and a risky one at that. They needed to be ruthless and quick.
Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
Ron only nodded as he followed her, seeing all the stuff getting bought hearing her give a monotoned farewell before he turned over to the cashier. "Sorry about my friend, she has a lot on her mind at the moment, and you don't have to worry about our purchase." Ron spoke as he twisted his free hand to shape the mist, causing the cashier to lose their weary gaze before he followed after Marietta. As he did he only nodded to one of her statements before hearing her say to leave her if something happens, making him turn over to her with a grin.
"Now if I did that, then there wouldn't be as much fun in the mission." Ron spoke, picking up one of the oil bottles and tossing it up into the air before he caught it. He then saw her eyes before he sighed, setting the bottle with the rest. "Only if it's required at the time."
'Like hell it will be, no comrades are being left undefended unless all problems are dealt with.' Ron thought to himself as he walked over and pulled his bag out of the trunk, looking through the weapons and supplies in each slot as he began thinking through his options. 'fortunately I can summon soldiers from the dead for the just in case purpose, but they will have to be from the times that monsters fought humanity, which means that Germanic or Gallic warriors are my best option since they were among the armies that could fight one on one easy since they were two warrior races, but the question is which one, and which warrior type.'
He then picked up his bag and started putting the bottles and cloth into the trunk, placing the last bottle in the bag as he shut the trunk, soon going into his spot in the Mustang before he continued searching through the bag, his mind going through the units he could remember as he finished and opened the area of the bag that held his spear, seeing the shaft still inside and easy to pull out.
Irok: And that's thinking that you would come out of this alive.
Giving a nod of approval to Ron's response, Marietta slid into the car and waited for the boy to seat himself and get situated. Once they both were ready, the daughter of Athena started the car and peeled out of the parking lot of the store and onto the main road. Mentally, she went over her weapons she had brought and where they were stashed within her bag. Then she went to imagining the countless ways the two demigods could get the flaming bottle of oil into the beasts mouth. Calculating the exact time to throw, who would distract, and where they would dart for cover. By the time they had reached the warehouse, the girl had gone through at least fifteen different possible outcomes. Marietta turned the car off and looked to Ron. "Are you ready?" She asked quickly. "All your weapons are within reach and the makeshift bombs are easily accessible and constructable?" They only had so many shots before the mission would grow in danger. She was sure the beast inside could sense their presence which meant once they stepped within that building they would be in grave peril.
Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
"Let me get them out." Ron spoke as he got out of the car and pulled out his spear from the bag along with his shield, pulling the oil bottle out with the shield and slipping it into a small gap he had on the shield's grip, setting both to the side before he pulled out the bow and quiver full of arrows he was practicing with before this. As he putting the items in their respected holders, leaving the spear to the side, his mind went back on the soldiers he decided to use for just in case purposes. 'I'll just hope that someone from that village is willing to fight beside me.' Ron thought before he picked his spear back up, setting it on his shoulder as he looked over at Marietta smiling. "And now I'm ready."
Irok: And that's thinking that you would come out of this alive.
The young girl watched and waited as Ron situated is weapons and arranged them in a way that is easily reachable. When he finally finished, he flashed a smile over to Marietta and confirmed he was ready. She returned his grin with a determined smirk and she shifted her weapons and ran her fingers through her short blonde hair with a sigh. "Alright. Let's go then." She concluded. Her face falling into an emotionless slate, she walked cautiously up to an opening of the building. It was tensely quiet and only sounds of dripping water were echoing against the faded and chipped walls. Keeping her stance low and her bow was held steady in her hands as an arrow balance gently on her fingers. She flicked her eyes back to Ron, making sure he was keeping up and was okay.
Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
Ron only nodded, soon pulling out the bottles and cloth while he set his jacket back into his bag with the items, immediately following afterwards as he kept his spear out and set in a manner where he could carry it and change to a battle stance almost immediately before he took a quick scan of the building to find any other openings. 'They either chose or missed a good area to hold up in, judging from how this is made.' Ron thought as he kept his pace, his footsteps not making any form of sound as his free hand worked on an oil bottle in his bag to get it set up before he saw Marietta look at him, seeing a similar gaze that immediately reminded him of Irok, one of the four who were originally in his skull while he slept, reminding him of his pact with Janus. He then closed his eyes and sighed, a smirk playing on his face as he looked back at the nearest entrance as he managed to place the cloth in, soon pulling a lighter out of a small pocket in the bag and getting ready to light the bottle that he set up, now poking out of the bag, before he reminded himself of something he read. 'Battle, like water, is a constantly changing element, not one concrete set of events, so you must be fluid like water and prepared to change or make new plans in order to win.'
Irok: And that's thinking that you would come out of this alive.
After seeing Ron set up the makeshift bombs, Marietta kept her focus on the surrounding area. Something was up and she could feel it. Coming to a stop before a doorway, she signaled the boy behind her to wait and watch her back as she made sure it was safe to continue through the doors. Taking a sigh to balance herself, she inched forward the opening. Marietta kept her breathing quiet and her body tense like a rubber band waiting to be launched. Just as she was about to turn her head and look, something stopped her. She heard the sound of hissing combined with low growl. Her head snaps back to the boy as she lightly taps his shoulder. "Chimera!" she mouthed. Not wanting to make any unneeded noise. She could hear it's paws make it way down the hall towards the two demigods. It can smell them. Wanting the first attack she motioned to Ron quickly what she was about to do. I point to her, she held up her first finger, a point to Ron, she held up two fingers. She would go in first to attack the monster head on, then Ron would come in second for a follow up attack. Loading her bow, she brought herself up and ran through the door to look straight down the hall and into the eyes, well multiple sets of eyes, of the Chimera. It let out a roar, a hiss, and a throaty bleat. It charged down the hallway, but the daughter of Athena was ready. Pulling her right arm back, she was quick and sharp as she release the bow to land in the neck of the goat portion of the beast. She added another to the lion's shoulder just as quickly.
Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
Ron only stood back, watching the girl move about as she looked through the entrance to the area, his lighter still beside the bottle before they started moving again. He then sighed before putting the lighter in his pocket, seeing as how the Hydra wouldn't be able to fit in this hallway. 'The ones who could may bring us trouble, but it depends on what we face.' Ron thought as he looked at how big the hallway was. 'It's small enough for one monster at a time, but the Chimera has enough potential to use this to it's advantage, which means a quick take down is necessary in order to defeat it.'
He then stopped again as he heard a set of growls before his shoulder was tapped, making him look over to over at Marietta before she mouthed the monster's name. 'Well that was fast.' Ron thought as he watched her, seeing her give him a sense of her idea before nodding, his gaze on the size of the hallway they were in.. 'As much as we need strategies, they'll only get in the way in a space as small as this, so I'll need to make strikes that count.'
Ron placed his hands at the butt of the spear as he waited for the Chimera to get closer, watching it from the reflection of the spear while Marietta fired her arrows at it's heads. As soon as she fired her second arrow, Ron came out of the corner and ran with his spear at the ready, stabbing it beside the second arrow before pulling himself up with the force and stepping up from the shaft, immediately drawing his sword and slashing off the snake head as he kicked off of the Chimera's back just as quick, rolling behind the creature as it tried to turn towards him, only to hit the spear into the wall and dig it deeper into it's shoulder as Ron turned to the beast and took a sword stance he learned during his training in military school, the runes on the blade shining as he smirked.
"Oh dear, did I stab it in the right angle to where it would cause problems in turning?" Ron spoke as he looked at the monster, his eyes showing a warrior's look as he kept his smirk. "My bad."

Edited, though it probably would've made sense since he had killed six cyclopes the moment he was merged back into one person, and that was when he was wounded and cornered.
Marietta jokingly rolled her eyes at the boy. He certainly got cocky when he fought. While that might be a great asset, it could also be very dangerous. Shaking off her thoughts, she loaded her bow again, this time she shot to kill. Sending one bow off it his the lion straight in the eye. It went in deep and Marietta watched as it's head sank. The goat was almost gone, one more bow and the poor thing would be put out of its misery. Loaded up, she calculated her spot, then shot. She would have missed if the goat did not turn it's head at that exact moment. Hearing the proper sound of a dying beast, it soon dusted, leaving the weapons behind. Marietta wasted no time, she grabbed her stray arrows, and tossed Ron his spear as she kept moving. It was one down and two to go.
Kiraku: There's one mistake you made when you cornered me in this alley, thinking you would kill me...
Ron got out of his stance as he saw the monster fall, sheathing his blade as he watched Marietta move to pick up her arrows before seeing his spear flying towards him. He then just sighed as he caught it and turned down the path ahead, watching her walking without him for a bit. He then turned and lifted up his hand, causing two clouds of smoke to appear from the ground before two giant, armored warriors bearing wolf pelts on their heads came up, both holding large hammers and shields.
"What do you know, they were accurate on how the warriors looked." Ron spoke to himself before he started walking after Marietta. "follow after us in ten seconds and only enter the upcoming battle when the enemy is preoccupied, then you enter the rage and join. We need the element of surprise to deal with the Hydra and Echidna easy."
With that he soon ran after Marietta, soon changing to a walk as he pulled out a piece of ambrosia from his bag and ate it. 'That always takes a bit out of me, but it's fortunately not as bad as what I've been through.' Ron thought before he began to speak. "Judging from legends, it should be safe to say that we can still smash the Hydra's heads without them multiplying." he spoke before he finished the piece he pulled out, feeling it take effect, though he knew it wouldn't be the same strength he would've had. 'It'll be enough.'
