Sergio had so much fun on the plane ride, he even let himself blush a little when she grabbed onto his arm. It wasn't hard to feel a change in the air when his friend went into mission mode. Sergio had to wrack his brain for the address but after he finally remembered it he answered "Well my mom has a house about 15 minutes away, I left my car there when I left. We talk to each other a little bit and she keeps the car there. She's out on a book signing tour right now though so she's not home." He gave her a light smile as he led her to the taxi lane so they could get a ride to the house. One of the few good things in his life before camp was him mom, after he had ran away she broke it off with her husband. He was an abusive lunatic who somehow was a cyclops. He still felt kinda stupid for not noticing his ex step-dad had one eye. Eventually his mother wrote a book about it, everybody loved it and she got famous. They still talked sometimes through a cell phone that Sergio had stashed in camp, so he made sure his car would still be at the house when he heard about the quest.

Sergio stepped out of the taxi as well. When Beau asked her the question he sighed sadly and shoved his hands in his pockets. "That's kinda the reason demigods stay at the academy mostly. We just have to get to Orlando alive." He rubbed the back of his head before he broke the news to her. "Ya see, these monsters come after us, they can sniff out demigods and the only thing they want to do is kill us Beau. It sucks but we don't have to go out and look for these guys at all. They'll just find us." He sighed before we walked up to the door and yelled back to her. "I gotta get a few things from the house, so you can come in or wait out here."

"Just my car keys and something else." He told her with a small wink as he ran upstairs to his room. His room was pretty empty now since his mom had moved everything except his nightstand and a small blue silly band on the night stand. He pocketed the item before he ran back downstairs. At the end of the stairs was the opening to the living room on one side, and the kitchen on the other. Sergio thought the house was deserted so he didn't even bother looking in the kitchen. It was obvious the living room was safe because that's where they entered from. "Ok Beau I'm read-" He was cut off by something swinging into his side. It felt like being hit by a tree while you wreck a car. He felt his body immediately hit the living room wall as he began to really feel the pain. He should have checked the kitchen because in there was a cyclops waiting for the two to get there. He was a pretty normal looking thing, except for the one eye and the height of eight feet. He let out some sort of roar/ gurgle before he truged slowly twards Beau, dragging his makeshift club as he walked.

Sergio was pretty dazed now, his side felt really warm too but he didn't dare to look down, knowing he probably wouldn't like what he saw. Then he looked at Beau, she wasn't doing anything, but the cyclops was scratching his head to the point where he was breaking skin. Then he put two and two together that she was driving him insane. It was actually really weird seeing he in action and for the first time ever, he was actually a little bit scared of this girl. He didn't know how long her insanity would last, so he began to stand, using the wall as support. He reached down to his belt and took out a throwing knife. It had a little bit of blood on it, but he tried not to think about it. As the cyclops was digging at he head, he threw the knife with deadly accuracy to where the cyclops was scratching. He knew he wouldn't kill him with a throwing knife, but he hopped the cyclops would focus on that point and accidentally push the knife in. Sergio was getting really dizzy now, he didn't know if he could take another rib like that. Just propping himself up and throwing a knife was strenuous.

Sergio gave a light smile and let himself sink back to the ground once the monster died. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small caramel colored square from inside a plastic baggie. There were about ten of them in there, but he guessed he'd only need one. He quickly felt the sweet taste of warm cookie dough fill him up as the pain in his side began to subside. "We demigods have these things called ambrosia and nectar, they work really well for healing. But I could use some bandages, there should be some linen in the kitchen. She told her with a weak smile. He probably had a few broken ribs and something obviously broke some serious skin in his side. He eventually mustered the courage to look down and saw his white tee shirt had a good sized blood stain on it. "Well sh*t" He said with a slight smile to himself. It was shocking that he got caught off guard, but it was worth it. He got what he needed and she got some battle experience.

Sergio laughed a little bit to the girl "Please, you just want my shirt off." He joked with a light chuckle. After quite a bit of soreness and a little bit of leftover pain, he managed to get his shirt off. At least he was really toned for a skinny guy so he didn't feel too weird taking off his shirt. His ribs were slowly knitting back together because of the ambrosia, that was extremely painful though, even though Sergio tried to hide it. He had to look tough around this girl, maybe it was just a normal guy thing but he didn't want to seem weak.

Sergio gave her a light smile. "I can stand Beau, let's just get to the car." He was pretty sure he had left a packed bag of extra clothes in the car, so he'd be fine no shirting it for a little bit. After a few moments he stood up and dug in his pockets for the keys and what he took from his old room. "Hey Beau, hold out your hand." He said with a wide grin while keeping his hands closed to hide what he got.
