Ron said as he pulled his shield off his back, finally tired of it poking his back every now and then and pulled out his music player, glad for his bags ability to carry items as he slid it to perfectly fit under the seat in front of him before he shifted his daggers and pushed his shield into another area of his bag that it could fit from. He then heard the attendants say they were free to turn on their electronics before he smiled and pushed the headphones into his music player as he turned it on, going through the songs to listen to. "Mainly because she's one of the few monsters that wasn't defeated by a great hero or champion, only by your dear hundred eyed Argos, and that was when she was asleep."

Marietta listened as Ron explained about Echidna to Edward. She was happy there was another person here to explain things so that she wasn't constantly talking. It often made her feel like a 'know-it-all' snob. Settling into her seat, she made herself comfortable for the plane ride. "Exactly, Ron. She is definitely the monster we should be the most careful around. As for the Chimera, it's an offspring of Echidna along with the Hydra. I have a feeling it will be the easier one to kill. Even though it isn't going to be easy at all." Marietta chuckled humorlessly at the end of her sentence. All of the creatures were hard to kill, so this will be a definite learning curve for all three of them. The young daughter of Athena opened her laptop and began to do a bit more of extensive research on the tasks at hand. Writing down little tips and facts in a notepad to have on hand.

"Depends on the type of Chimera we're facing on if it's the weaker, given the original that died was only able to die by lead poisoning." Ron spoke as he gave up searching through his songs and just set the device to shuffle, starting off with a song that was sounded good for travel. He then adjusted his seat so he could lean back before he looked up at the ceiling, his thoughts on the current mission as he thought of possible locations. "Fortunately that one had a permanent death thanks to Bellerophon last I heard, so it's not coming back any time soon. Out of everything, we need to find a place they would most likely hide in before pulling up strategies."
'They would definitely not use any urban locations in case the items could be found and stolen.' Ron thought to himself as he thought through each monster, his mind going into overdrive as he thought through the possible locations they would inhabit. 'Judging from the size of the Hydra, they'd need a building that would be big enough to hide in that allows all of them to shed the looks they have in the Mist, so the building would have to be fairly large for there to be moving space. Since they have such legendary items, however, they'll require an area that most people steer clear of, so most likely an abandoned building or complex...'

Marietta turned her head to listen to Ron. She already knew what he had said about the original Chimera, but she kept that part to herself and respectfully listened to what he said. He was right though, they should be focusing on finding out where it was before figuring out how to kill it. She nodded her head, pieces of her blonde locks shuffling about. "Alright, so lets think. Where do these creatures like to hide?" She questioned quietly. Thinking it over a bit, she would assume some place large, but not active. "Well, for the town of Topeka, Kansas," She said opening an internet map--she didn't feel like reaching in her bag to pull out the tangible one--"the town has a pretty moderate amount of people. So the chances of finding something like an abandon building large enough to even slightly hold all of them even with the mist will be a bit tricky." With that thought, she began to search for abandon areas of Topeka. Seeing their dimensions and locations.
I had messaged Edward and he said he isn't coming back.

"Well if there isn't any large enough, it's probably just something rural with very few people coming and going." Ron spoke as he thought through the other facts needed. "Given how they still need to eat regardless, it would be safe to assume they'd choose somewhere like that, so most likely a place with a few abandoned areas but with a small crowd that comes and goes at specific times, but not enough as to worry about people searching around and finding the items they hold. However, if our look through the maps go nowhere then the next best thing is to look for places where The Mist is thickest."
'Which would help given the mythos of the objects.' Ron thought as he closed his eyes, putting his head into overdrive with thinking through each monster's abilities and traits. 'Echidna will definitely be the worst, like I thought, but the Hydra and Chimera need to be seperated from her and dealt with so we can prioritize that battle. We'll probably need to find something that could work for fire when we land, or a way to make molotovs that can hit moving objects... putting flames on the arrows in the quiver would work if we manage to cover its head with something that can be easily ignited, but that would require some skill...' His head then began to go through the items that could be used, his thoughts going back to when he was traveling alone and the items he had to use to fight monsters.

Marietta listened over the speaker. One of the flight attendants had just informed the plane that we would be landing in Kansas very shortly. In the remaining time that they had, the daughter of Athena had searched for and found only three abandoned areas in Topeka. When she deducted the necessities for the monsters to even attempt to be there with the mist, there was only one. Well it was lovely that the location was settled. Now all the pair had to worry about was the act of killing the monsters. When she felt the plane touch down she went into game mode. This needed to be done fast and efficiently. While the other passengers were fumbling to get off the plane, the young girl turned to Ron. "I've narrowed it down to one place, so that's good. Now we just have to worry about the physical aspect of this trial." She informed the boy with a serious look in her eyes. Getting her normal things together and being a bit for concious of the things being hidden by the mist, she waited for an opening in the slow shuffle down the isle of the airplane.

Ron sighed as he heard the landing, his mind already holding a few ideas as to how to separate them, while he looked around to see people shuffling to get ready. 'It'll be safe to be prepared for any unexpected attacks, seeing as they'll probably expect us to appear somewhere.' Ron thought as he pulled his back out of where it was held. He then heard her before he nodded, now getting up and setting his bag where he was sitting.
"Well the best option we'd need to do is divide them from their group and defeat them one at a time." Ron spoke as he put his music player back in his bag, now roaming through it for his sword. "It would also be good to know our provisions that we have so we know what type of supplies to get."
He then smiled as he felt the familiar hilt of his blade before he reached further and pulled it out by the sheath, once again thanking Janus for the bag as he set the blade on his hip under the left dagger before tying it on, his hearing on Marietta as he searched through his bag for any more items he may need to take out.

Marietta listened to Ron thoughtfully as she made her way out into the airport from the airplane. Responding to his explanation theories with hums of comprehension. "Yes, divide and conquer should be the best route to go with this." She agreed as her pace quickened while she weaved in and out of people in the crowed area. At his question of provision she patted her backpack. "We have ten thousand dollars and also ten drachmas. So I think we can buy a good deal of supplies for this mission." She shot a smirk over her shoulder at the boy. She was hoping to get out fast, but she thought maybe Ron had pack something that went under the plane. Since her packing was light, she didn't have anything from baggage claim. "Do you have anything from baggage claim we need to pick up before we head out?" She asked quickly. It was starting to get very serious as they were now in the same city the monsters were. They would need to do this with lighting speed but careful precision.

"All the stuff I need is here." Ron spoke as he closed his bag and set it on his shoulder, his footing going through the people in a form of the steps of Wing Chun, yet to people who didn't know the art would think it as an attempt to get out of the way of people walking past him. He then smiled as he heard her say the provisions they had before looking over to the car rentals, his mind already going through ideas. "Well then, we'll be able to buy supplies better than what I used to use while traveling."
Ron then heard her comment on the baggage claim before he hoisted the bag on his shoulder. "This bag's the only thing I brought." Ron spoke as he watched the crowd around him, his gaze now stern as he followed each movement. 'Right, we're in enemy territory now, so we have to keep alert.' Ron thought as he rested his left arm on his blade, feeling more in tune as he tapped his fingers on the hilt. "So then, I'm guessing we'll be needing to rent a car, correct?"

The blonde sighed in relief when she was informed that he had no need for the baggage claim. Keeping her steps fluid and meaningful she bobbed and weaved through the crowd, hoping that Ron was keeping up with her. She took a sneak look back and saw that he was indeed, keeping the flowing movement through the crowds of people that she was. He then spoke up about renting a car. She nodded her head sternly and pointed in the direction they were going, which was the rent-a-car service. They would need something fast, but not to expensive so that they could still buy supplies as needed. When they reached the front desk, Marietta asked the secretary about the cars up for renting. Throwing on a facade, she spoke. "Hi there!" She said brightly. "Um, me and my friend of there need a car? I was wondering what you had." As the woman went through the names, they all didn't seem speedy enough. "You see, he's big into cars and loves driving a bit too fast, if you get me." She winked and giggled along with the woman behind the counter. Knowing just was Marietta was getting at, the lady offered up Mustang, a newer model by the look of it. Marietta could drive stick so it wouldn't be a problem. "Oh that's perfect! Thanks a bunch for your help." She grinned widely. Saying her goodbyes once the keys were in her hand, she turned to Ron and fake gagged. She succeeded at pulling off the chipper blonde act and it made her want to shudder. Now, the two should be on their way to pick up the car and possibly get more supplies for the mission.

Ron watched as the girl who had acted so collected and in thought change into a different person while talking, a smirk escaping his grasp as he listened. 'Well, I'm glad she isn't really like that.' Ron thought as he saw her picking out the car, his smirk growing bigger after she did a false gag before he patted her shoulder as he listened to the location the car was in. 'She probably wouldn't be as fun to talk to otherwise.'
"You have my sympathy on the matter." Ron spoke as he passed her, his steps faster now that he knew the location they were heading to. He then opened his bag again before searching through it, this time pulling out a leather jacket as he kept his ears on the steps around him, letting him continue his steps while making them seem accidental. 'I wonder if Echidna already knows we're here?' Ron thought as he entered the garage, his gaze soon turning to the section of rented cars as he continued. 'Though the better question is when to get serious outside of strategy during this quest...'
He then stopped in front of one of the mustangs, this one with the license plate number that was given to them, before he set his bag down and slipped the jacket on, his mind now going through what to get along with his ideas. "You may get mad at me for suggesting this given the problems with the idea, but has anyone tried to drench hydra heads in gasoline or oil before torching them?"

Marietta laughed and rolled her eyes jokingly when Ron gave her the sympathy for having to spew out garbage from her mouth. She hated to dumb herself down, but that was the only way she could. If she tried to do that normally all she would have done was confuse the woman, and make her wonder why they needed the fast car. Following behind the boy, she made sure to keep pace as they shuffled and weaved through people to make it to the parking garage were they would find their ride. When they did reach their assigned Mustang, Ron threw a risky idea into the playing field. "Well, knowing the Hydra to be large beyond belief, and having to drench it in enough flammable liquid means that one or both of us would get at least a bit covered in it as well as the floor. Once we light that match, I don't think it would end well." She explained. "Unless you know of a safe method for acting on this, then I really don't think this is an idea we should try out." Settling her stuff in the back of the car, she held up the keys to Ron. "Would you like to drive?" She asked simply with a raise of her eyebrow.
