Vincent and his team walked out of a door, they were in Washington they just didn't know where. Vincent had time to finish this quest so he wasn't in a particular rush. He had a bronze sword on his hip and he was looking at a map. "So, hows the day going for you two?" He asked not looking up from his map.

Stacie made it through the door and had ended up at their destination, sort of. They didn't know exactly where these weapons could be found. She was released from his grip and took a few steps back to create space. She touched down to the daggers that were attached to her slim hips. Vincent then asked how everyone's day was going. A bit random, but nice all the same. She smiled and nodded her head a bit. "So far so good I guess. That door trick of yours is certainly a great asset to the quest. It will save on energy for us all." She complimented. "All the same, I'm doing rather well." She concluded with a shrug of her shoulders underneath her leather jacket. ___________________________________________________________ : : : ...i'm in here, a prisoner of history... ...can anybody help?...

Clair kinda came tumbling through the door, falling on her face. "Aside from that fall, I'm fine so far."
Vincent nodded, "that's all good to hear." He closed the map and slipped it into his back pocket, "alright well lets discuss some ideas. We need to find a mirror shield, and a club. I'm more focused on the shield however because that will be the greatest asset against something like gorgons...we are all familiar with how gorgons work? Avoid the eyes." For whatever reason people really had a problem with this. Vincent was a guy, so most of the time his eyes weren't on theirs. Hopefully Clair wouldn't notice. Girls don't notice....right? Vincent smiled at the thought and looked around for something similar to mirrors. Something that reminded him of mirrors. Then again why would gorgons be in a place that they could always be seeing eachother in? He was honestly out of ideas on what to do. He was so focused on his quest ahead that he didn't notice Clair had fallen, and he knew this would come back to bite him very soon.

Clair nodded, getting to her feet. "Yeah, I think my pre-k teacher turned into one to teach us about myths once. Most kids died of fright, I touched his tail." she brushed the stray wisps of hair from her face. "Anyways, where is their lair? Also, we need to buy a sword or axe; something that can cut through bone, scales, and flesh." Truthfully, Clair wasn't thinking about everything she mentioned, or mentioning all of what she thought they needed. The girl ran over the list a couple of times, knowing that the ultimate call was Vincent's to make, and wanted to see if he was clever enough to figure it out.
Rope, axe, sword, mirrors, and something to pierce their eyes;make them unable to see. Maybe a blowtorch....... Remembering the myth as she ran over the list again, she shook her head. A blowtorch would work, but judging by the extensiveness they could encounter, it might fry them all.
OoC: Sorry, it was one of my favorite myths growing up!!! Well, the one with medusa. Clair's thoughts: Ohhh...... Dang it! In the myth, girls can't enter Medusa's lair! But, that was probably only in that case, right? her mood: okay her health: fine

Stacie listened as her teammates spoke up about what thr group would be facing. She felt a bit insecure to the fact that she didn't really know anything about Greek mythology. She had only been made known of her heritage very recently. She hasn't studied too much in depth. Although, she took what each had said and stored it in her brain. It seemed like extremely useful information. "Well, I obviously don't know much about what we are facing, but are there any signs they could leave behind? Something that might let us know they are around and that might lead us to their little hang-out pad?" ___________________________________________________________ : : : ...i'm in here, a prisoner of history... ...can anybody help?...
𝕸𝔬𝔬𝔡: Good 𝕳𝔢𝔞𝔩𝔱𝔥: Good 𝕾𝔬𝔫𝔤:X 𝕺𝔈𝔈: My time is short so i'm being very unoriginal. If anyones got any better ideas lemme know. I don't know how the final fight is to go down, maybe something will NPC the gorgons? If not I can if you guys want.
Vincent looked up thinking for a moment. Stacie didn't quite know what was going on and time was of the essence for Vincent (pun intended). "A hero goes after medusa, whose eyes can turn you to stone if you look at them. He cuts off her head and uses it to destroy the kraken? I think that's how it went. Anyway you get the point, avoid the eyes. And that 'mirror' shield. We could use it to turn her to stone. Her eyes work on herself." Vincent then looked around, "there should be like a fountain place around here. That would always be a good place to look."
"Yeah," Clair said, "That's how the myth went. Aslo, we should try to cut off their hands, then bag em if at all possible. We should also maybe wear one-way mirror sunglasses. It only works if they look ya in the eye, right?"

Stacie nodded her head in understanding as Vincent quickly explained the questions she had. She put all the info she was given in her memory and began to look around for some sort of fountain. She didn't know why a fountain was important, but they obviously understand more than she does, so she went along with what either of them were doing and saying. ___________________________________________________________ : : : ...i'm in here, a prisoner of history... ...can anybody help?...
Vincent looked at Clair, "why didn't I think of that? You're a friggin genius!" He exclaimed and started walking towards the walmart infront of them. "Wait, do we have money?" He asked, he was never handed money.

Clair blushed, "I am not. All the stuff I learned about mosters in mythology came from my stepdad. He's a male gorgon........ Not sure how that works, but it did," The girl felt tears welling up and tried to look happy still. The first day, in pre-k, that her stepfather who happened to be an ex-army drill sergeant turned into the snakelike being Dean had asked him to close his eyes. He smile faltered; that was also the day she met him. its over now, he hung himself.... she reminded herself, besides, I have Vincent now.

Stacie smiled when a plan was basically put together on the spot. Although she did notice Clair's faltering smile and welling eyes. She flashed a look of pity and sympathy over to her before answering Vincent's question. "I have the money. We got ten thousand dollars. Also, ten of a money that I can't seem to pronounce and to save myself from embarrassment, I won't try too." She giggled a bit and handed the money over to the leader. Stacie then followed the group to the nearest Wal-mart. ___________________________________________________________ : : : ...i'm in here, a prisoner of history... ...can anybody help?...
Vincent glanced at Clair and made note of the edge she was on. However their time was running out and he unfortunately couldn't deal with that situation. He gratefully accepted the money and entered Wal-Mart. (for rp sake ima skip this time in walmart) Upon exiting and slipping on his glasses another door appeared infront of them with the power of his watch. Vincent humbly opened the door and awaited for the girls to enter first.
