Sergio gave her a quick smile but on the inside felt flushed with embarrassment. His old home was so southern, he honestly didn't really care for it. After watching the same boring scenery pass by, he began to doze off until Beau broke the silence. "Oh, just keep heading south till you hit I 24 to I 75." He said to her in his normal tone. That ambrosia did wonders on his wound, he felt a whole lot better now that he was just sitting and breathing, letting the wound heal for itself. Once they hit a red light, Sergio broke the silence again. "Hey, uh thanks for saving me out there." He said with a slight struggle and placed a hand above her knee. He didn't want to admit it, but she really saved his a**. It felt weird to put his pride down for a Zeus kid, yet he knew if she wasn't there, that could have ended badly.

"Yea I know I would've. So how do you feel? I mean ya killed your first monster." Sergio asked her with a light smile. He suddenly remembered his first monster. It wasn't much of one, just some old hell hound. He had just started to use his lightning powers with his ex when the hell hound attacked. He had no idea that she brought it to kill him. But he got rid of it really quick with a simple blast of electricity. It honestly felt good to send a monster back to the underworld. "Ya know monsters don't actually die right? They just go back to tartarus and can't come back for a while." Sergio told the girl while he looked out the window in boredom. He felt kinda embarrassed now. He was on a road trip with the one girl in camp he actually had feelings for, but half of their time driving so far has been silent. Which felt awkward. Plus she already had to save him cause he was being reckless. Deep inside he began to fear that he wasn't ready for a quest.

Sergio saw her smile falter a bit and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. " Don't worry Beau. I know it's weird killing your first monster. It's ok to feel bad about it and its ok to feel good about it. They were born just to kill us so we either kill or be killed." He sighed a little bit as he leaned his seat back. " To be honest, I kinda like killing them. They never really die and plus who knows how many demigods are saved every time one of those things goes."

Sergio gave her a smile back. "You have other powers you can use too." He said to her and shrugged. He wasn't mad at all he didn't think any less of the girl either, a lot of demigods go through different reactions when they use powers. He couldn't fault her for feeling a high for using her powers at all. He felt pretty great when he let his powers loose on those dummies back in camp. When she ruffled his hair he poked her in the ribs with his elbow. "Hey, how am I supposed to get this girl to like me if my hair looks like a bird nest?" Sergio said with a laugh as he tried to fix his mass of curls on his head. Once she brought it up, he immediately got the bar out of her bag and took an apple pie one for himself. "How do ya think Staci and Vincent are doing? Clair's kinda a trip huh?"

"Man you really hate that girl don't you?" Sergio told her with a slight laugh and punched the side of her arm lightly. "I fell bad for both of them, I mean Vincent could have done a lot better ya know? Maybe it's just cause our parents hate each other, but I don't really like her either." He said in total honesty. Then to joke back he said" Didn't you kiss me the first day we met?" He told her with a slight life, obviously just kidding around. He honestly felt really bad for Staci too, she was a really cool chick, he kinda wished he had gotten to know her a bit more before they left. He let his mind wander slightly before she brought him back into reality. "Were about a hour away from Atlanta, Georgia. It's been a long day so we can stop for the night and i'll drive in the morning." Sergio purposed to her with a slight yawn. The sun was beginning to go down as well and he was worn out, mostly from blood loss. He didn't want to admit it, but he still felt kinda weak from the battle earlier.
