Miyako Watanbe Second Year Student
✺✺ Mood: Sinister as always. ✺✺ ☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁
Miyako casually walk in and saw no one there yet and a sly smirk on her face. First one in, first one to leave. She just made her way to the far back right hand corner and sat down. A perfect angle to spot any one coming in or going. She swore she saw her cousin iris but couldn't track her down fast enough. She just took a deep breath and calmed down. She did sleep well and they had good food at least. She ran her hand across her face and she look more chipper and what not. She had a eager look on her face as she waited for the other students to come in. All the while humming a cute song. She did wonder how long each class would take.
After their shenanigans in the music wing the previous day, Vern and Iris went down to Molly's Café to let their bosses know that they were back and ready for work as soon as possible. Or well, at least Vern was ready to go back to work! Even though he'd really loved his summer job playing piano all afternoon and evening -and it was admittedly better than being a waiter- there was a certain appeal to Molly's that couldn't be matched anywhere else. Of course, they'd been ecstatic to hear that some of their workers had returned for the school year, and of course piled Vern and Iris with a bunch of songs and choreography that they needed to practice for work. Of course! Apparently, in two weeks, they were having a Beauty and the Beast theme; Vern got the part of the Candle Stick. Which was fine with him, since he wasn't exactly a "Gaston" or "Beast" person anyways, besides that also gave him the best song to start rehearsing! After the visit to Molly's and saying hi to all of their older workers, the two left and went back to the dorms. Vern soon discovered, thanks to the list of names on the door, that he was rooming with Marco again! And... Lel. His eye had twitched at that, remembering just how big and titanic that guy had been!
With the new day upon them, Vern looked more or less the same as he had yesterday, with the exception being what belt he was wearing and his choker, but that was it. He'd decided to keep Nala in her Pokeball that morning, and instead brought out Ryuichi so that he could meet more people. For a man-made Pokémon, his Porygon sure was a curious sort! Quietly, he took a seat in the back of the room and waited for Mr. Jones to arrive.
Lydia took a big yawn as she walked into class. That sleep powder really did its job! It was late by the time she woke up in the woods! And what's worse is that she let not one, but two rare pokemon slip away from her! She dozed off as she walked, yawning again. "Hey Vern, hey Iris..." She already messed up matching faces with names. However, she did manage to match the hair color. She took a seat a little ways away from Vern, letting out another big yawn. "That snivy was a crafty one. And that bulbasaur packed a potent sleep powder... I can't believe I missed catching them and fell asleep outside..." She muttered, mentally scolding herself for being so clumsy. Hopefully mister Jones was in a good mood. Last year he was always so grumpy--he nearly bit Lydia's head off on the first day! It still sent shivers down her spine, and not in a good way. How was she supposed to help that the egg she found was rayquaza? And it only got worse from there until the very end of school. Studying for this class took up a lot of her time... "Did Maria oversleep?" She glanced around, feeling guilty for needing her friend and roommate to look out for her.
After a great jam session with friends old and new, Vern and Iris went to Molly to make sure that they knew that they still had their best employees. The result of which was a smile, a welcome back and sheets of music and dance numbers to learn. One of the upcoming themes was 'Beauty and the Beast'. As much as Belle was offered, Iris choice the Feather Duster just so she could remain in her maid uniform. After swinging by her place of work, Iris spent a little time at home with her mother and little brother. She used the oven there to make a small apology gift for Marco in the form of cookies.
Returning to the campus and her dorm, she discovered that her new roommates were Maria and Lydia. Something that excited her very much. Today unfortunately, while she wasn't late to class, she wasn't the first one there like she wanted to be. Rather Vern, Lydia and another girl beat her into the class. It looked at though she would have to get up even earlier next time around.
Iris smiled as she went to Lydia and hugged the girl. "Good morning roomie..." she said cheerfully. "I thought Maria left you already..."
Maybe it was just Iris, but she couldn't wait for class to start. If it was like last year, she would be getting a new poke egg to love and cherish like she did Polly. Not to mention the class in general grabbed her attention. =
Hana walked in quietly, looking exhausted. Yesterday was tiring enough; she came to a completely new world, far from home, and she'd run into so many people and so many places that her head began to spin just trying to keep up with it all! Though, going to sleep was the hardest part. She'd never been away from home before. A strange place was there instead of her home--her own room. The sounds, the smells, even the feel of the comforters and sheets were all alien and almost unwelcoming. Her roommates had barely said a hello, and she'd missed their names entirely. She was homesick already, and wanted nothing more that night than to sob it out.
Today, now, she suffered for it. She was still very tired, and hurried to stay near Vern and Iris when she recognized them. She still didn't quite understand the conversation he had with Tojuro. With broken english and little understanding of relationships and sexuality, the poor girl was lost entirely by it. "Good mor-en-ing," She pronounced her words to try and straiten them out. She set down her notebook and tiny pen (completely unprepared) and held little togepi in her lap as she sat politely. Even just being in a classroom was a whole new experience.
Maria had spent the whole time in the woods with Lydia until she woke up. She wasn't going to leave her alone so like any good friend she stuck by her. Managing to sleep in a little later than usual it took her a little longer to get to class. It didn't help that she couldn't sleep most nights because of her depression never mind staying up late till her best friend woke up. Oh well she'd make up for it tonight for sure besides she got a new friend out of the deal. It was no surprise when she walked into the classroom Lydia had beat her there she did get all the sleep after all.
"Morning..." Maria said as she dragged her feet into class and over to a seat next to Lydia. Her hair for a change was in pigtails and she wore a tired expression. That was expected right? Releasing her Ditto he sat on the deck on top of her textbook. "Hey roommates of mine..." she said giving a yawn. "Before anyone asks yes I totally slept later than expected." she said giving a light smile. "But I have someone to show for it." she added. It felt good knowing she didn't come up short.
"Huh?" Lydia looked up. She blinked a while, sleepy. That's right: Iris was her other roommate. But if Iris was here... It finally clicked with her, and her face tightened as she looked back. The other girl with green hair wasn't Iris! "Oh! Good morning Iris!" She finally woke all the way up. "Hey, sorry if I seemed out of it yesterday. I got hit with a bulbasaur's sleep powder and a snivy's trick. It wasn't really my best moment," She laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her head. "But I'll get 'em next time for sure!" She tried to seem more optimistic. After two years in school, you'd think she'd have been better at catching pokemon by now.
A shy new girl hurried past, clinging to Vern. His... girlfriend maybe? Lydia wasn't the fastest one to catch on. "Oh! That reminds me..." She dug in her bag, pulling out an envelope. "Mia sent me a letter. And there's one for mister Azrael too. I'll have to remember to give it to him when we get to his class." She smiled at it, opening hers up and started to read it. She felt like a little kid again, reading about her sister's grand adventures. Only this time, she had some adventures of her own. And there was still that wish she made last year...
"I wonder if this year will be anything like last year," She thought aloud, tapping the toes of her shoes on the ground. Enter Maria. And Lydia smiled up at her. "Hey Maria," She greeted. "Sorry about yesterday. But you did manage to get another cool pokemon out of it! I just messed things up..." Her smile became a little weary. "Actually, when I didn't see you in the dorm, I figured you left without me to get a head start," She laughed again, starting to feel more and more awake.
Tojuro walk in tiredly as he yawned loudly and took a random seat down. He laid his head down. After there fun moments, even though he didn't sing he still had fun moments. And vern sharing his opinion on what happened to himself help slightly, still... His mother was still his main worried.
He couldn't remember much after there fun after he went to the lunch room and try'd a new recipe. He didn't quite perfect it but still. He wanted to show his thanks. His right index finger had a band-aid from him cutting his finger slightly. After that fail he went to his dorm to find some one going threw his stuff. His new roommates were a guy named Archer who seemed rough around the edges, probably the one who went threw his belongs. The other was Kazuma, who seemed nice at least.
He try'd his hardest to remember more of the night and sat up and stretch and say everyone from last night pretty much. He saw them talking and tojuro look at iris and remembered shortly after vern told him that a forced kiss was a bad thing no matter what that iris lick his cheek to make it better which resulted in tojuro face turning a darker red than a tomato and being extremely nervous. Even thinking about it made him blush. He look away some what and once he calmed down spoke shyly to them as he waved softly with his right hand "Yo... Fun time last night. Im planning something special for you guys. Resulting in my right finger hurting but i promise there wont be a finger in the ca-" He bite down on his tongue on purpose.
He made a soft "SSSSssss~" noise as he held his mouth in pain as his right eye twitch. Probably not the best idea to stop talking but to late now. He just laid his forehead on his desk. Tojuro would turn his head towards new friends. He had slight bags under his eyes thanks to archer and tojuro getting in a fight over privacy... Tojuro how ever... Lost that fight.

Lacus slept great and was up in plenty of time to get to class. It was strange to actually walk to class since letting Golden leave. He was kind of her way to class most of the time. Guess she'd have to get used to walking. Walking into class and noticed that Mr. Jones wasn't there yet she just couldn't help but call out. "Good morning everyone, who's ready for Breeding one o one?" she asked loudly so all could hear. Yeah she was a tad excited.
Skipping over to Vern and Hana Lacus gave them a bright smile. "Hey." she said as he eyes fell on the Togepi. "Awe... a Togepi, you're a little cutie aren't you?" she told the little normal type with a soothing tone. It paid knowing how to talk to baby pokemon. Wouldn't want to scare the poor thing? It was hard thought to contain herself. She was just so excited for breeding class. She'd actually been looking forward to this class, weeks before the date of arrival. Her father even laughed at her because of it. Like helping her father at his breeding center wasn't enough.

Yesterday was an exciting day for Marco. He caught his first pokemon for the year and found a new battle partner and rival for the year. The best part was that his battle partner was also his roommate along with Vern. The giant did in fact have a name and it was Lel, he came from a place called Hungary where apparently the weather was tough all year long. Not much eventful happened that day. He returned to his dorm to drop some things off then he went to find Niara and he spend the rest of the day with her catching up on her summer events after they parted in Nimbasa City. Niara had spend a good amount of her day singing with their friends wihch sounded like a lot of fun to him. Marco still remembered the talk he had with the headmistress regarding being too intimate with his partner, but since she was talking about Iris and not Niara then Marco figured that he could kiss and make out with his other girlfriend as much as he wanted. He returned late at night to his dorm and then just crashed figuring that he would have the opportunity to talk with his dormmates any day.
When he woke up he took a shower to get rid of that hazy feeling, got changed then headed out for today's first class: Breeding. His roommates were already gone or at least Vern was gone, Marco didn't notice Lel since his mind was mostly working on motions and nothing more. The shower did wake him up, but it also reminded him of just how much his hair grew during that summer. He would need to find a way to properly comb it or cut it. When he entered the classroom, there were already some people present inside. Marco knew he wasn't early, but at least he was not late. So tried to pick a seat and saw one available by Iris. He wanted to sit next to her, but after yesterday's event he thought that maybe Iris wanted some privacy. The best thing to do was have her come to him when she was ready. If he pressured her for an explanation then the opposite effect might occur. So he decided to go with the safe route and take the sit next to his roommate Vern.
Lydia and a new girl he'd never seen before were sitting by Vern. He wasn't sure what to call his relationship with Lydia (or lack of any real interaction), but the safest thing to assume was that they were acquaintances that belong to the same group of friends. He wouldn't out right ignore her so he decided to start with a small greeting. Putting on his best smile (which he hoped was no longer a scary manic looking glare), "good morning, Lydia. Its good to see you again." He hoped that was friendly enough and when he was done he turned to Vern, "hey roommate, I see you got up early. I didn't know you were so thrilled to be a part of Jones's class again." Marco grinned, his greeting to Vern was with more confidence and felt more relaxed. Vern was his friend and someone he already knew from last year. Marco noticed a pretty girl clinging to Vern, she reminded him a lot of Niara when he first met her and wondered if she was a new student. "Hello, my name is Marco Sombra de Milagros," he knew that there were still some rumors about him being some kind of delinquent (or a boss) going through the school, but he hoped that he could change everyone's opinion of him this year. Last year, even though he made many new friends, he was still feared by nearly his entire class and even some students from other classrooms. Whenever he would enter a hallway filled with students, everyone would suddenly go quiet and move out of his way as if created some kind of path for him. So many rumors were spread and not just about him, but also about the people he hung out with. People would say stuff like he was bullying them into becoming their friends or his girlfriends were actually women that he was forcing to have intimate relationships with him. Marco never liked that attention and until last year he probably would have ignored those people, but things were different now. After meeting Iris and Niara he was filled with a desire to change. They both told him he was a good person and for once Marco believed in himself. He didn't just want to change for their sake, but he also wanted to change for his own sake. If he could become friends with this new student then maybe there was hope for him this year.
"You have a really cute face and your long hair looks very pretty," Marco smiled deciding that complimenting her was probably the best way to go. His work at Molly's Cafe had taught him to talk with girls easier and many of his costumers like it when he would called them pretty or cute. Of course, Marco still didn't realize that the talk he had with his costumers was meant for a more flirtatious kind of talk rather a regular conversation. "I'm glad to have such a lovely girl as my classmate." He flashed her another smile not realizing his own mistake yet.
Marco noticed Lacus approach them and his smile became all the more brighter. "Lacus, its great to see you again," he exclaimed with more enthusiasm than he realized, "how are you? How was your summer? Did Chansey cause you any problems?" He questioned that girl really happy to see her again.

After Vern sat down, Lydia came in and greeted him and... Iris!? He glanced at the person she had addressed, but that certainly wasn't his Clueless-chan. But, he let it slide, given the poor girl's half-asleep-zombie expression she had going on. "Morning Lydia~" What in Arceus's name had she been doing last night!? Well, the lower classman took a seat near Vern, but not next to him. The real Iris followed shortly after, sitting by Lydia but not next to Vern. "Awww..." He thought, seeing his bestfriend not sit next to him. "Oh well, I guess." She sure was excited for class, or at least, Vern picked that up given her expression and body language. Weirdo.
Then Hana-chan came in, and upon spotting Vern she immediately decided to cling to him. "Oh well, hey there Hana-chan~" He greeted, sweat dropped. "Good morning to you, too!" The young man smiled at his new friend, and then waving a hello at her Togepi. "And a good morning to you as well, little one~" Maria came in looking just as bad as Lydia, and she too joined Iris and Lydia in a large group. Apparently, they were roommates this year. "Hey Maria." He nodded to his classmate, waving his salutation. Tojuro arrived and went over to talk to Iris, and judging by the redness on his face... "Someone has a cruuuush~!" He though to himself, grinning. Day two of school, and he already had ammo against his new friend! Of course, another bubbling ball of energy had to come in actually excited for Breeding 101. Vern looked up groggily as the ball of too-early-to-be-happy-about-mister-jone's-class energy turned out to be Lacus. It just had to be another one of his friends, didn't it? "I'm not. I think I learned enough about breeding and raising Pokémon over the summer, thank you. I can do without this class again." Seeing her smile at him, Vern couldn't help but smile back. "Weirdo. I'll be happy once we're out of here and in the other classes. Like Coordination class. Now that's a class I can be excited for!"
Okay, so Vern was a little sleepy and slightly grumpy that morning. But who could blame him? First day back in class and he had to sit through breeding again right away in the morning. How was anybody supposed to be awake enough to pay attention at that arceus-awful hour!? That's when Marco finally appeared from the depths of their shared dorm. "Mmmmm... Hey roomie. And oh yeah, totally excited. Can't you see it just written all over my face?" Sarcasm. "I may have gotten up early, but that was because I didn't want to be late to his class. Not after all the class time I missed last year, the last thing I need going for me is to be late to class on the first day. Besides, I had to make sure I had plenty of time to properly put on eyeliner , especially since it's the first week of school and the first day of class. Gotta look presentable!" That was true, and those really were all the reasons why he'd gotten up early. Make a good first impression (even if he was on the sleepy side)! To emphasize his point, he waved a right hand over his brown eyes. He wasn't wearing a lot of the eyeliner (like he sometimes did depending on the style he was going for that day), but it still ultimately required that the young man get up earlier. Vern's roomie started to talk to Hana, saying hi, complimenting her on her face, hair, etc...
Yeah that wasn't going to turn out well. Something inside of him slapped him awake and he leaned over into his roomie's ear. "I would really shut up about all of that if I were you. She's not somebody you should be flirting with..." Did that sound like a threat? Well it wasn't meant to be; it was a genuine warning! He then talked to Lacus for a moment. Though Vern had another question lingering on his mind, one that he'd forgotten to ask the previous night, he figured that it could wait until later if need be. Right now, it'd be best if the two of them survived Mister Jones's Breeding 101 class.
We've got to hold on to what we've got It's doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
With a nonchalant look on her face and a messenger bag hanging over her shoulder, Aster walked into the classroom and stood still before the doorway to take a quick look around searching for an empty seat. Most of the faces here looked very friendly but she did not recognize any of them. Well, obviously she would not. This was her first year in this academy after all. 'Arthur isn't here yet.... Guess I'm saved from headache...' She sighed in relief before taking a few steps forward to take a seat in the front row.
Aster sat down and placed her bag down on her lap. This time she took her time to observe each faces in the class. What stood out to her about a few of her classmate here was the hair color. 'Green and pink...apparently they are quite common around here...natural maybe?' She continued to observe in silence while wishing for the breeding teacher to make an appearance soon. She wasn't anti-social type but couldn't help to appear like one. Apparently for her, it was hard to start a casual conversation with strangers if they hadn't make the first move.
We've got each other and that's a lot We're half way there...livin' on a prayer

Pain is temporary; quitting is forever.
Holly smiled as she waltzed into class, taking a seat near Vern, Marco, Lacus, Lydia, and a few of the new students. She still couldn't quite remember their names! “Hey!” She greeted, beginning to take her items from her bag. Notes out! Pen ready! This year would be different! She'd be on time, and make it to her classes, no doubt! The teacher wasn't even in yet – thank the heavens! She didn't feel like having a rough start this year with Mr. Jones, because she realized first hand how rough that could be. Oh well! Hopefully he wasn't one to hold a grudge. She passed last year, though just barely.
Holly couldn't sit still for long, though – she was terrible at waiting. She fidgeted with her pen, shuffled her feet, and drew on the side of the page she'd flipped to. What would Mr. Jones have in store for them this year? Another egg, maybe? Hopefully, this time, it wouldn't be a Pokemon like Trubbish! She loved hers dearly, without a doubt, but it was terrible that she got one after being attacked by one prior! She was still convinced he planned the whole thing. How could that be coincidence? If she was right, she even saw him smirk that day.
A few moments passed by, and during that time, Holly put her head down so she was looking out the windows. Aww! It was nice out, too! Why did she have to be stuck in here? Whether or not she'd admit it, this particular teacher unnerved her, and she wanted nothing more than for class to be over. It was her fault for being to tardy, but that didn't mean she felt any better about the issue!
Archer sighed, making his way through the door, and towards a desk away from the majority of the students. They seemed annoyingly upbeat, and Archer wasn't sure he could take being to close the to the lot of them. Besides, his roommate was giving him weird looks last night, and was up their was them – he probably figured out it was Archer who ruffled through his bags. He didn't care much that they knew, but he didn't feel like fighting at the present. He'd slept poorly on his rock-solid bed last night, and wasn't as snarky as he could be. If he was going to butt heads, he was going to do it with vigour! Crude come-backs weren't going to come to him as easily while exhausted as he was.
Archer eyed the clock as he took his belongings from his bag. The teacher was due to show up any moment. Were they any good at what they taught? Pft! Archer couldn't care less. That he'd escaped his dullard tutors at home was enough for him right now. It would be an interesting, though – the curriculum he'd been taught had dealt little with Pokemon. His parents saw no use for such classes when Archer was being groomed to run their business.. He'd grudgingly caught up with his peers over the summer though, and had a good idea what he was in for. An online source even described it as usual practice for teachers in this course to hand out eggs. Would that be the case? Hopefully not! Archer didn't feel like winding up with some ridiculous Pokemon, and he certainly didn't feel like wasting his time doting on some helpless baby Pokemon.
