Zenko sat in the back of the pup, relaxing after a long day of traveling. He had heard about the problems in this area and figure he could hire himself out as a body guard. However, he had gotten in so late, most places had shut their doors. His peace was quickly disrupted by a group of bandits who had come flooding through the doorway. They where being loud and started to give him a headache, so he decided to leave. Standing up slowly, to make sure his weapon did not hit knock down any paintings or the like. He started making his way towards the door, only to be stopped by a few of the bandits. The one who looked like the leader held out his hand, and motioned for Zenko to hand over money. To this he shook his head and tried to leave once again. The leader snapped his fingers and from behind him a man dressed in a robe started forming fire around his fists. This made the rest of the bandits hollor and shout even more, begging for the fire user to burn Zenko to ash.

Their cheers where short lived. a gust of air seemed to arch out from Zenko, and in a split second he was holding his scythe against his shoulder. This time he motioned for the bandits to leave, but all they did was draw their weapons, and the mage readied his attack. Then it turned into chaos, all the bandits in front of Zenko had their upper bodies sliding away from from the lower halves.

With the sight of the horrible events, the rest of the bandits raced out, leaving the dead behind. Zenko started to go through the pockets of the fallen and collected the money that they had on them. He placed it on the counter and pushed it towards the bar keep. "If they come again, just call me" he spoke for the first time that night and it sent shivers down the barkeep's back.

Zenko walked out and into the dark night, fresh air hitting his face, and leaving almost a smile there. He would likely wonder around the streets for rest of the night, making sure the bandits had surely left, before going to sleep. He knew they would be back, but hopefully word would spread by morning and he could get a well paying job.
