Appearance:
Tall compared to a human his head towers over most students at 6ft 5in. His face is always clean shaven and he's got dark brown eyes with matching hair on his head and his body. He always wears a shirt to keep off the eyes of the hormonal teenage girls.
Speaking Style:
He speaks very formal compared to his human companions, almost offensively formal. He never wastes a word but sometimes speaks in riddles. His accent is light and airy.

History:
Cheval was born in the Forbidden Forest right next to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He grew up hating the students of that school and from a young age his father would bring him to the edge of the woods and he would point up to the school and warn him about the evil men. They wave their wands and killed they killed Centaur families in the war.
Cheval's father taught him how to hunt with his own handmade bow. It was a tradition to learn how to make your own bow, Cheval’s was made of Pine and with it he was one of the best hunters in his clan. He also learned to track and could track anything from a small rabbit to a large beast.
His favorite past time was to romp around with the other yearlings around his age. They would race throughout the forest to their favorite swimming hole were they would splash and swim all day. He loved his friends and his life among the clan.
But as Cheval grew his mind developed further than most of his friends. They were satisfied living a life of wondering around and gazing at the heavens. Days like that became mundane for Cheval. He felt as though his brain needed more sustenance, more knowledge. He began to ponder following Firenze’s lead and leave the forest to live among the world of the humans. He knew the massive amount of knowledge he would gain if he left his world.
No one in the clan spoke of any of the Centaurs who sought out Wizards and befriended them like Firenze. They were now social outcasts and would be killed if they returned. Cheval knew the consequences if he left his family but he had to. He just didn't fit in anymore.
Firenze welcomed him into the Castle and began to teach him how to read the stars better. He taught him that Sage enhanced the power to see the future within the heavens. It was also Firenze’s idea that Cheval should give himself a last name.
Cheval Dewin eventually took over his mentor’s position at the school.

Hobbies:
Cheval used to love racing his Centaur friends and swimming in the lake but now he takes to spending time practicing his skills of archery in the safety of the castle. He also enjoys reading and loves to gaze up at the stars and see what the planets are saying.
