It saddens me to see the amount of inactivity on this guild, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a contest for the whole guild to participate in!
Only problem is, I am not too sure what sort of contest to make, so any suggestions that are posted here would be great! But like I said, it must be for the WHOLE guild, so unfortunately that means no art contests (not all of us are great artists), no fan fictions (what if someone here wrote My Little Dashie, for example) and so forth.
And don't worry, there will be some prizes for the top 3! I know they aren't big prizes, but they will hopefully provide some extra incentive!
1st) Luna Companion..
2nd) Any of the Mane 6 Companion items.
3rd) Still deciding, suggestions would be great! biggrin

I don't think my idea would count as an art contest more like a judging contest. The idea is to create a really awesome pony using this.

This link will take you to a pony creator app on deviant art.The judge must choose a talent for the week as well. The idea is during the week you all will make one pony per person to match that talent and no copying. The pony who looks closest to the talent wins and the judge chooses or we put it to a vote. Whichever works.

Lunathealicorn you could always just have a background pony contest Uhmm, do you mean spotting background ponies or making them? (In which case I think it's a lot like Lisiona's idea).
