Welcome to Elder City. A metropolis developed for esper research and development, its involvement with what most consider the next human evolution has helped the city itself become the most advanced living environment to date. 80% of the residents use or have esper potential, all of which also attend special classes to study or improve esper powers.

Esper powers have ranged from elemental manipulation, to physical body alteration, to simple visual effects, all of which are caused by mental advancement of some level. These advancements are tested and logged periodically, and categorized by levels ranging from 0 to 5. Level 0 having no power whatsoever at the moment but still having potential, level 5 of which only 3 exist in the city have seemingly limitless power. All espers have only showed examples of one power.

Not all things involving espers have been good, along with power comes those who abuse it, thus the E.D.U. (Esper Defense Unit) was gathered to push back against trouble esper users, along with A.E. (anti-esper) taskforce. Esper advancement isn’t the only thing that has been gained, ways to limit esper skills and block them have been studied to prevent out of control esper users. Special developed weapons to bypass esper skills, and machines to lower the level of an esper are deployed to keep a level playing field. These machines have been coded to only work for A.E. taskforce commanders to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands and used for darker means.

Despite these measures there are still those that use their esper skills for crimes, and others that cause crimes against espers.

Rein Ashby



Rein was quite pleased with the outcome of the cleanup effort she had organized for the day. When she first ask others about spending their day cleaning the park she was met with a lot of annoyed looks but after mentioning it was one of the few places espers were allowed to use their skills freely, or at least to an extent, she had apparently caught a few others attention. now she was talking out over a bullhorn directing groups to areas of the park and keeping others from slacking off.

over the gathered group she spotted a red headed figure walking past the park that she knew all too well and passed the bullhorn off to another organizing member and rushed off to catch the person. "Adrien!" she yelled as she got close to him and jumped on his back. "you made it. but I didn't think I told you about the cleanup effort today."

☯ Kellan hadn't thought anything of looking at the strange duo as she had made her way to the football field. And didn't connect the dots that the loud sound of feet running towards her was the two people she had just seen until the girl popped up beside her. With a start Kellan looked like a doe caught in a pair of semi-head lights at the girl spoke to her rapidly.. Her cheeks starting to warm up as a dark blush covered them as she just started the girl in the eyes, before nervously shifting to the tall red haired boy.

☯ When the girl finished Kellan just smiled hesitantly as she took a few steps back, her mouth opening and closing rapidly as she tried to speak. When no words came out she looked at them, swallowing visibly as she glanced behind her to see if there was room to run. Knowing full well that using her ability to disorient them so she could get away was a very bad choice. One she learned after doing it by accident to a teacher last year. Sighing as she raised her hands, and begin to talk in sign language in the hopes the girl wouldn't know it.. or the boy......"I have no clue what your talking about. And I just want to relax after getting back. But it sounds like you are doing a nice job..." Her hands flew through the motions in quick rapid nervous jerks. A small smile forming on her lips

♚♡ Lily had just finished getting 'talked' to by the school Principa, his underlying and all the teachers she would have for this year. As she made her way down the hallway from the office she was rather familiar with after two years. Puffing her cheeks up, Lily blew air up over her nose watching as it caused her fringe to fluff outwards from her forehead. With a small sigh as she began to think to herself "I wonder if she is in the room yet? Oh.. even better if I get to go hunt her down...cause I really need to spar."

♚♡ Coming out of her thoughts as she hit the stairwell that would lead up to her room, Lily caught a part of a conversation. Making her little ears twitch as Kellan was mentioned, making her slow down and come to a stop behind a few girls who didn't notice her because of her short stature. Thanking the gods at the moment for being five foot nothing, Lily leaned against the all blantantly eaves dropping. "Oh did you see earlier? The 'illusionist' was out walking by the new students, and smiling that smirking I-am-better-than-you smile she always wears. And we all know where she was heading was the foot ball field for being lazy." a tall brunette said. Her voice full of loathing as she talked about Lily's roommate and best friend.

♚♡ With a small growl that got the attention of the two before her, Lily smiled and waved while her blue eyes became dark and threatening. When both girls flinched and paled at it, Lily turned and marched down the stairs and out the front door. She hoped that no one had tried to corner Kellan due to her exceedingly shy nature. When her feet hit the sidewalk after jumping from the top of the stairs, Lily immediately began to jog towards the field. Making it come into view quickly, and causing her to roll her eyes at the sight before her. Not only had two people surrounded her, but others were starting to stop and watch the scene, as the girl began to pull them towards the front of the school again.

♚♡ Noting that a few were returning students, Lily literally began to push people out of her way. When she stepped out next to a tall, silent and seemingly brooding red headed Male, Lily spoke up rather loudly to get the attention of everyone. "OH there you are Kellan, I was wondering if you had gotten here or not. Hey uh...Miss..I take it since I don't recognize you, that your new and a first year. Please refrain from doing what your doing. It is obvious that she doesn't like it. Also from personal experience, she doesn't always have good control of her ability when cornered and being pounced on."

♚♡ Lily as trying to keep the smile from her lips as she watched the scene before her. Noting that Kellan's pupils had shrunk dangerously small, as she kept pulling on her hands to free them from the girls. Shaking her head, Lily raised her hands and signed rapidly to Kellan, "Take a deep breath and calm down."
