I used to think i was the sort of person who could go to a show and sit through a crappy show just to see the act that is AMAZING.... i have found and am NOT this person -_-|||

This band i really like called Air Dubai is playing at the BBQ place (and i love BBQ) and they are opening for this group called bad rabbits. i just now checked out their music and i am horrified... i am so glad i didn't buy the tickets because i would have spent the entire second half of the show with a very pissed off face just standing there with my arms crossed in protest..
im sorry for those of you who really like bad rabbits but i now have a new hatred of them

what have been ya'lls breaking points? have you ever given up on seeing a group/artist perform just for one reason and if so what is that reason?

EDIT: Why couldn't you have just gone to see Air Dubai and left after their set, since they were the opener? One time I went to see St. Vincent open for All Time Low, and I just left after St. Vincent's set since I don't really care about All Time Low.

because i like them but not enough to pay $12 for.
I gotta make my money last until the end of the month, if it was to see two bands that i liked then I might be more willing to go see it but the other band is so horrible i don't really feel like putting my money in their pockets.

I remember this one time at a Metal tour... There were like ten bands, Devil Driver was headlining. The second card was this band called In This Moment. I kid you not, when they came on and that woman started oinking into the mic, the whole place emptied out into the smokers area. They must have felt so bad. They should have. After a while their drummer, who was a lot older and more talented than the rest of the band, played a five minute drum solo that brought everyone back in, but when they started playing songs again people started sitting down and ordering drinks.
