The Demon's Claw River is the northern most waterway that cuts through the Ampithere mountains. It heads toward the shore and breaks in two, feeding into the ocean. It was named the Demon's Claw for two reasons. The first is that it looks similar to that of a claw when it splits. The last reason is that most of the river is surrounded by huge, jagged cliffs. These steep, rocky slopes are extremely dangerous for those who don't know the area.

The river and the area surrounding it is completely Knuckler territory. No other dragons really think it a good idea to live there anyway. They dig burrows into the cliff sides or find caves that already exist there. Most of them prefer to live down near the water, as close as they can get without having their den flooded.


Places along the Demon's Claw River:

>Knuckler Clan Nest - Clan Home of the Knuckler Clan.
>Snake Tail Cliff Side - A long, narrow cliff ledge. It goes on for miles feet upon feet above the water.
>Solitude's Corner - A calm spot along the usually rapid river. It is hidden among the jagged rocks and cliffs.
>Silk Shore - The shore line of sand that resides near the end of the river, where it splits. It runs from there all the way to the ocean.
