Shed Some Light:
Beau Lillith Armoretta was born a very loud child. Crying instantly and would not stop. So much so, that the nurses of the hospital had to put her in isolation from the other infants. She caused quite the ruckus, until she stopped. She just went silent. Out of confusion, a nurse went to check on her with rampant speed. Fearing the worst, she scampered through the halls. Had Beau stopped breathing? Was she dead? All these questions melted away, when she found the little baby quietly looking around the room with wonder. Something she would continue to do in later years.
After that first scare, Beau hadn't had many after that. She grew up healthy and loved in a single parent home. Even as a young girl, coming home from school with her report card, the teachers had all said the same thing. "Beau is extremely smart and skilled when she applies herself." The thing with Beau was that she had a big case of a procrastination and laziness. She could talk your ear off about animals or food and tell you things you didn't even know! Although, give her a boring teacher in a boring subject; she soon dazes out. Her picky attitude grew out of her later on, but that was only because she had to.
Most kids found good use of their time in socialization and parties. Beau found solitude or few people to be her best interest. Now don't get the wrong idea, she is in no way antisocial. She just would prefer being on her own or with a couple close friends or family. She would use up time by writing short stories or poems. Maybe even some cooking or baking. Music seemed a nice outlet as well. She was just generally a very artistic girl. She played multiple instruments, such as the flute, drums, clarinet, and a bit of piano. She like to sing along with the key of the piano. When she wasn't making noise, she was utterly silent with her nose stuck in a book. She loved to read and would go through at least four books a month. She just loved the idea of diving into a story and escaping reality. She wished she could write her life like people write books. So yes, she could handle a drink and could grind on some random dude at a club, but she also can create beautiful things and be completely okay with being alone.
Beau had always had a wild imagination. Sometimes that would really get to her. She felt like she could see things. Things nobody else could see. It would drive her crazy at night and she could barely fall asleep. She told her family that she kept hearing this voice talk to her at night in her head. It was always brushed off though, until she turned 15, when she was finally told the truth about her. That she was the daughter of a god! Of course, at first, Beau wanted nothing to do with it. She thought they were playing a joke on her and wouldn't speak for about a week until she finally grasped the concept. She then sought out information on her godly parent. She was stunned and intrigued by everything she read. Then it all clicked in her head. She connected all her weird visions of random beasts and things, the voice at night.
Soon, she went off in search of others like her. She would annoy her family with questions about her kind. They finally spoke up about this special school for kids like her. Half-blood Academy. Beau was absolutely stoked! She ran up to her room and packed up all her things; demanding that she be sent there. With understanding and willingness, she was taken to where she would spend a great deal of her life. With a tearful goodbye she waved off her family and began her life surrounded by people who understood her.
