What is the clan name?: The Haruko clan
Who founded the clan?: Nai Tu-chi Haruko
How was the clan founded?: The Haruko Noble Family was founded by Nai Tu-chi Haruko, a powerful soul Reaper that died many, many moons ago. He lived a life of royalty, doing battle along side the Captains of the Soul Society. He was greatly rewarded after many many victories and in his honor, they made him a statue. One day, however, everything went upside down. While absent in battle, his wife was attacked by Hollows. She made it out a life, but barely. Many people tried to keep her from dying, but in the end, they all died trying to save her. Nai was in dept, but still very worried for her. He wanted to be able to never have to witness his wife's death so brutely, so he grouped together long lost relatives and all of his distant relatives to create a clan. A clan so big and proud that people would honor them. But, in doing so, he later died in war with a very strong Hollow, ending his life entirely.
Mourning the death of her lover, Sutachi spread the clan around to conceal them, making them normal. It worked for some time after she was offered a place in the Seireitei. Accepting a Captain's seat, she fought along with them as a Squad 1 member, soon moving over to Squad 4, where she worked as a Captain. Soon, however, she was targeted and killed as a war plagued the Soul Society once more. In honor of her brave sacrifice, having gave up her life to protect the people of Squad 4, she was given a statue next to her husband. She soon would meet with him in heaven.
Making this clan was not so easy. Many people had fallen ill and some had died before having children. Soon, it was seen that the clan was dying out quickly, plagued with disease and death. It was 300 years after him and his wife died, that it started getting better. Soon, the Haruko clan was thriving much more. The spirits of Hai and Sutachi watched over those who live within their clan, leaving it up to their great-great-great-great-great-family members, and kids, to watch over their clan and help it continue to grow.
Throughout the years, as each head passes on the legacy of the Head of the House, the House continues to grow stronger and larger. Their legacy isn't the cleanest. There were times the Head or one of the family members had to disobey a direct order of the Head Captain or Central 46 in order to protect their own. When those times have happened, the member who disobeyed the order would be moved to a separate house outside of Seiretei, but they would always be kept within the loop. The clan is a tight-knit family who takes care of themselves. For many centuries, the clan didn't want to take in outsiders who weren't born into the clan, but that changed when their Son Atsuhiko convinced the current head, his Father Sunji Tu-chi Ai Haruko, to adopt their now youngest children that had come from the Rukongai: Suke and Ai.
