I recently finished shakugan no shana and I've been looking for another anime to watch. I generally like animes with a good plot line and I love a great fight scene. I don't mind a little romance, as long as there is more to the story. I don't care about length so it can be 10 episodes long or 100. So any suggestions?

Do you have an MAL so I can see what sorts of things you've watched and liked in the past?
I know that I'm supposed to be watching Shakugan no Shana, however I still haven't gotten around to it yet so I don't know what to judge by.

If you don't have an MAL, really just listing whatever shows you've seen and liked in the past would be wunnaful~

Maybe a lil Shikabane Hime?
I personally love Katekyo Hitman Reborn! It's a little long but you said length wasn't an issue~
Maybe look into Sekirei too? o:

Mirai Nikki and Gurren Lagann are bomb so I second those recs ;D
Regarding Witchblade:
The end of Witchblade was so sad! Don't know about you, but I cried so hard
Really liked the character design though ;o;

I really loved Witchblade and I did cry at the end too.
I'll look into the ones you've suggested too. I'm planning to fill my summer with watching anime.

Well, if you're looking for summer anime and don't mind keeping up with shows as they air, there's a really good one airing right now - Shingeki no Kyojin. I believe it's currently 13 episodes in and will end at the end of the summer.

My finance just got me watching D Gray-man, which I actually like quite a bit. He watches a lot more anime than I do, so here are a few he suggested:
Soul Eater
High School of the Dead
Basilisk
Elfen Lied
School Days (he said he thinks you'll really like that one)

I've seen Soul Eater and I really liked it, I forgot about that one. I'll look into those others.

I like Soul Eater too. I haven't watched any of the other ones, but knowing him they're probably really good. ^^

Watch Hiiro No Kakera

It's really good, the anime has 2 seasons and each season has 13 episodes biggrin

On her way to visit a village from her past, Tamaki comes across a strange white creature that can talk. Soon she finds herself surrounded by menacing creatures when she is saved by a mysterious man.

Okay, I'll look into that one as well.
