It was the seventh night of the seventh week of August. The time was 1:45 a.m. by the digital clock that flashed on my night stand one would think that i have a form of the Saturday night anxiety again. I had been wanting it to so badly skip Friday and go straight into Saturday night. Where the club's shouted the loudest and master splinter seem to me easier on the morning training sessions my mind seemed to be flexing with pressure of getting out of bed to quickly.

A light nausea and head ache swayed on And off in my mind, hands reaching out to grab fresh cloths from an open drawer. I hadn't been drinking maybe my sugar was running a little low. Once dressed with a pair of black denim jeans and a lavender tank top to bring out my messy out of bed burgundy dyed hair, the goal was to gather my brush and put on my face once the wooziness wore off. Who knows how long time had edged on by the time my face was put on just right. All the eye stabbing with the mascara made it look as though I'd been crying. My bare feet lightly stuck to the cold concrete floor. With my mind wanting to go out and get fresh air I retracted the idea in fear of getting lost. Only one reason master splinter let me stay was because of my fear of camera's and the facts I had no where else to go.

My stomach gave a growl it had seemed the sick stomach feeling had passed. My pattering steps into the kitchen came to a stop in front of the old white refrigerator. Palm extended I froze hearing a door open on the upper floor. Wasn't long before Raphael emerged with a sleepy groan and sat at the table with his head cupped in his hands, spouting in a nearly mumbled tone " Guess yuh couldn't sleep thur..?" the only reply I had given was an empty fridge groan, before voicing my own regrets.


" Didn't even get hardly two hours in before waking up." Taking a seat next to him only to lean my head on his well muscled shoulder. "Do you think Leo would mind if i borrowed some money to get us all pizza?" Giving out a small puff of air, small bit of my hair fell into my face. " I dunno CheezeCake, not really focused enough to think right now." His voice seemed to trail giving myself the idea that there where reasons of why both of are lack of sleep was most likely caused by two possibly different reasons. " Is Eve still got you worried?" My hand grasped his other shoulder with compassion.


"Yeah... she's stopped eating now and brainy can't even figur out what's wrong with her." With a light pull on Raphael's arm and shifting my right arm, i gave him a hug. "It will be okay, you just need to trust your brother... give him time. I am sure everything will turn out fine." A sudden voice from a few feet behind gave us both a startle and we separated from each other. " She's right my son, only time can heal the sick. but i am sure Donatello may be able to fix the problem yet." Raphael still seemed to be a bit concerned when he came to a stand. " Well it's just taking so long...that's all. I fear she's running out of time." Master Splinter had taken himself over to place his hand on Raphael's shoulder with a calm and wise aura about himself. " Patients and all will be well." A smile came to my face walking up next to them. "True, patients is like a flower it only blooms when it is nurtured and ready" Raph rolled his eyes only to smile a little and give me a joke and a nuggy. ' Hey now we dunt need too of yuh master splinters around her!" are small playful struggle must have gave master splinter a good chuckle and the chance to head to his room again since by the time we stopped to talk again. He had vanished and his door was drawn shut.

There was a sudden flush echoing into the room as Donnie came out and spotted Raphael and myself awake. Donetallo stretched with a yawn, coming over to greet us. " YahhH~ I see you to are awake early. I've been running some tests on your pet turtle." Raphael gave an irritated look at Donnie. " She's got a name Don!" I placed my hand on his arm as Donnie corrected himself. " I am sorry I've been doing some tests on Eve. And I have figured out what's wrong with her..."

Donnie lead Raphael and myself over his his computer desk opening a file and showing a diagram of Eve. He sat down in his desk chair and turned to look at us both. " Well Even though i've been really busy around her i found out that Eve's just suffering from chronic depression and may just need a play mate or even a change in diet." Raphael looked at the diagram a little longer. " So all your saying is that Eve is just sad and want's more attention? or needs a food change..." Raphael sighed. " You better be right don or I am defiantly going to be doubting your abilities..." He turned and stormed out of the room flipping up into his loft across from Michelangelo's room. I placed my hand on Donnie's shoulder. " He's just worried don't take it to heart man. It sounds logical what you said about Eve." Donnie sighed giving a light smile, before turning to look at the screen. " He's just never treated me the same after the last time i pushed him to trust me with that whole shredder incident." She looked at the screen then back over her shoulder at Raphael's closed door then off over at the others, all closed she really didn't have anyone else to help cheer the mood up. " Hey, Lets go hit the shadow's besides Maybe it's just going to take a bit of patients and time for raph to come around I mean your both brother's and you should look out for each other no matter how loose the tight rope gets..." Don stood up scratching his head, looking at her a bit funny. " You sure you wanna do that I mean what about your fear of camera's Cheeze?" Cheese fiddled her fingers looking over at the door. " Well i guess it's a good time to try and learn to not be scared of them. I mean it's not like i am falling asleep or anything..?" Don shook his head. " No if splinter gets up and where not ready for training it would be extra cleaning duty for a month.Plus i already have to much on my hands right now Cheeze." Don sat back down and turned to the desk clicking the minus button to exit the file about Eve. He continued clicking her watching for a moment him pulling up a supplies list. Looked like they where low on a few things milk some kind of titanium donnie used. " How about this don." She pressed her finger to the screen.
" Hey, Hey! careful you'll mess up my new screen." She moved her finger back briskly leaving it a little ways from the computer to point at what was on the list. " Okay sorry, how about we make a deal we make it a race. I go get the milk and other things that are at the regular store and if i can get in and out in my record time we can go do a short hunt for some titanium for that experiment of yours? sound good?" Donnie turned around his head resting on his hand that was propped on the arm of his chair. " Well that would be a good idea if you wouldn't be to scared to even go into the store. It would just be a waist of time...." Gripping my hands together in a bit of frustration, My arms crossed. " It just so happens I found a store that Doesn't have Camera's... It's not the newest but the old man there is really nice and it's just off of Winters Ave. We could go there and be on are way in no time." Don rubbed his forehead for a moment. " Kay but how does that help you fight the fear of camera's, since you already scooped out the place...how does that count?" With an annoyed sigh she leaned against the desk. " Please don it's by your favorite smoothy joint..." Donnie rubbed his chin. " Alright i suppose but you've got to help me out on my experiment next time...a favor in a way." Giving a grin and an excited hug she rushed away from Donnie went to double check the kitchen to make sure he had everything marked. Couple minutes and Donnie was ready as Myself and Donnie rushed through the tunnels borrowing Donnie's scooter and him taking Raphael's skates they both rolled down the main sewer pipe that passed by the old under ground rail station. with a bit of small talk about how Raphael should teach me to skate and that i should teach him to play Kings Corner. Didn't take us long before we came up inside the old warehouse that Donnie had market on thirteenth street to make sure that i always knew how to get back to at least this point. " Donnie..... why does master splinter let me stick around... I mean April hardly ever visits any of you and Casey's more of the one to meet you all up top?" Donnie placed the skates off to the side under a table and looked over at Cheeze leaning the Scooter on the wall just next to him. " Not sure maybe he see's a bit of himself in you. Your almost always quoting him, your lucky Mikey
hasn't come up with a nickname for you. ha ha!" Rubbing my head from a random itch, and looking over at the door to leave. " You don't say. well let's hope it's better then Super Brain because i am sure what ever it is all regret it.Him and his comic book names.Suppose if i don't like it I would just have to get better then him at something, you think?" Donnie pulled the duffel bag over his shoulder it filled with who knows what it looked pretty light from how he was carrying it but she knew better from the last time that she offered to carry the equipment. " Off to the mart we go. Want me to drive?" looking at the small two seat car he had built for late night runs she rubbed the back of her had again at the idea of her driving. " I suppose practice is in order. Besides if i break it i am sure you'll give me the guide lines to fix it." She sheepishly smiled don chuckling and getting in the passenger seat and latched his belt on. once in the Car I placed mine on and turned on only to be stopped. " The Blue button opens the garage door." Nodding i gave it a press and turned on the STM( Super Turtle Mobile) Donnie insisted the name so she didn't argue. Then again he still hadn't decided if he wanted to keep it that name or not. Pulling out with no problem We where on are way to Winters Ave Mr.Funniest Super Mart.
