So many hours awake, so many hours alive. Sleep, we all need it, for recharging are bodies, for leisure, even just for the hell of it, But not in this society. You see the people of Lulabic face a little problem. Most of them can’t sleep. Yes this little planet gives birth to people who can not lose there Consciousness for a couple of hours. No, most people in Lulabic are awake for there whole lives. Headache, hernia, hyperactivity, Hypertension, Impatience, Irritability, Dark circles under the eyes, Depression, Dizziness, All common traits and symptoms of most people in Lulabic.

It was said that a couple years ago, that problem started. New born babies of course came home. Delight and thrilled, all the new parents tried they best to keep there little bundles of life happy in the day. And then it turned to night. Of course, it was expected for not all babies to sleep thought the whole nigh, but it wasn’t just the one hour of the night they were up, it was the whole night. From twelve, to twelve the babies were awake. Was it a birth defect, was it a virus, maybe it was just there nature. Doctors had no clue. Scientist had no idea. Government could do nothing. As this generation grew the problem got worst. You see, this “trait” was paced by mother. Meaning with each new child the sleepless trait stayed. This virus was called Resurrectiojonis, our RTJ.

So many things were done. Sending a constant stream of steam in the air to help with the soothing of the people, this failed. Ordering people to take sedative to help them go to sleep, this just made them tired. So what do you get when you make sleepless people tired? Chaos. Most jobs where stopped because to the lost of focuses. So now only a few jobs and the government stand in the little planet of Lulabic. All hope was lost until one man made one invention. Nihts, Neural Intervention High jacking Thermal System, Made by Doctor Shearo. This machine did not make the person sleep, but simulated it instead. Many people wanted this machine, but at the price that it was selling at, it was close to impossible to obtain it. Nobody had a job, how were they to get it. Only the rich could, and in the state of plant, that was few. Lulabic was thrown into the hopeless planet.

However, a spark of hope was dimly shining in the planet of Lulabic. A scientist, that name was unknown, was a genius in genetics. Even though he had the lack of sleep this man stayed clam and smart. Countless days, he stayed in his lab. Taking eggs and sperm from the infected beings, the man finally made a breakthrough. Over time, born beings of Lulabic took most of their physical and mental treats of the mother. This was due to the RTJ. What if most of the traits were given from the father? This was the man’s true goal. Around ten children were born from this experiment.About the time in earth years April 5, 2056, this was the date that their were born. And to many eyes what the babies did after being born was amazing. Each of the babies slept. The experiment was a success. After news broke out people were extremely joyous. People could them the saviors of their country. Some people called them Clouds, because of the fact that they could relax and do something that for generations now could not do, Sleep.

Most were happy because of this. But there is always two sides of the story.
Doctor Shearo, the inventor of The Nihts, was secretly irritated. His invention was not doing well to begin with, and with the clouds in the picture, he would never get anything out of it. What was he to do, he needed to do something. So he lied. Simple as that, he made a fake study saying that contact with these beings is toxic to anyone that has the RJT virus. Due to the fact that not that many scientist were out there, the study was thought to be true. You would think that the clouds would still be loved by some people in Lulabic. You would think. But clouds in the society now were shunned, envied, and hated. Put in a large superstructure, the clouds are imprisoned for the rest of their lives. All at the age of sixteen, the clouds are never to make contact with the outside world. Even though they never known freedom, instinct kicked in, the clouds want freedom.
And this is their story.

Kadryn decided to practice her unarmed skills for now. She knew that her old teacher Kral was getting back from his own hunting trip soon and she didn't' want him to be disappointed in her abilities. She also knew that he'd test her in things she hadn't practiced in forever so to make sure she was prepared for what ever he threw a her, she began by going over the basic moves he'd taught her. They were simple punches, kicks, and blocks, but Kadryn threw them with speed and strength behind each one as if this practice was a real battle.

She put imaginary enemies in front of her, behind her, on the sides, and did her best to flow from one punch to a kick to a block, back and forth, defending against and attacking foes only she could see. Once she was warmed up, she began to throw in more complex move, a combined punch and kick, a spinning kick, a punch- jump then kick. All the time, moving about bare foot in the shifting beach sands, never staying in one place too long.

She sensed a small approaching figure, but was too engrossed in her imaginary battle to pay too much attention to it.

Kadryn heard a voice call out, "H-hey!" Guess who ever had wandered over wanted to chat... or maybe spar! Sparring with another would be nice, though she'd have to be careful not to get too into the fight...

She ended her imaginary fight with a spinning kick and spun to face who ever had called out. She smiled when she saw the Dovaa girl. So cute, was her first thought. Didn't know Dovaa had butterfly themes to them....
"Hello. Is there something you wanted?" She asked with a grin as she walked over to her bag near by and grabbed a cloth to wipe her sweat off and her water skin.

Kadryn chuckle softly. She remembered the days when she was much younger and smaller and how shy she'd been. So this was how it looked from the other end, eh? No wonder so many people had patted her head when talking to her! Her hands itched to give the small child a big hug. She looked so adorable and harmless! Well, if you didn't count the small whirlwind in her hand of course...

"I'm Kadryn, and no I don't know how to use magic. I can utilize some f the small magic inside me to defend myself, but that's it. I usually fight with my fists or my mace." She gestured towards her large nastily spiked mace that lay by her bag.

Kadryn giggled out loud at Araceli. With a quick grin over her shoulder as she walked back towards her stuff to put the cloth and water skin back.

"Of course I'll spar with you! I need to practice against mages more often. Battling dragons just isn't the same!" After a last drink, she put her stuff down and walked over to the spot where she'd been practicing earlier.
This child was too young for her to even think about using her mace. She'd stick with her fists for this one.. and since it was a young child, there would be no danger and she shouldn't have to worry about raging like in her battle against Maslin.

"I'll let you go first since so that you can get one spell off before the fight. After that though," She grinned broadly. "I'll do my best to stop you from casting any more spells! That way you can practice casting under adverse conditions while I get to see how I can break or stop a spell!"

Kadryn waited while the Dovaa girl called up a wind spell. So this one is an Ayrala? Been a while since I faced an Ayrala dragon, this should be interesting. Once the spell was launched, Kadryn smiled and charged forward. But, unfortunately for her, her feet lost purchase in the soft beach sand and she stumbled and tripped, landing face first in the sand. Laughing out loud at the absurdity of it all, Kadryn quickly rolled off to the right, trying to dodge any spell Araceli would send. She couldn't stop snickering though. She, a barbarian who'd faced down Aiskala Dragons, tripping on sand?

Kadryn rolled up to her feet and looked at Araceli, she had a really weak stance... No grounding in her feet at all. Dashing up, being careful this time to make sure of her footing, Kadryn lashed her leg out at Araceli's legs, intending to sweep them out from under her.

Maybe she didn't ground ehrself cause she was an Ayrala clan and was to airy....

Kadryn waited for another attack, but none came.
"Ah.. Araceli? You okay?" Opps! She didn't mean to have hurt her so soon! She hadn't hit her head on a rock had she? Well, at least there was definitely no chance of raging and scaring the child now...
