Teao sat down in the sand at the beach. It was such a nice day out. The sun was shining, the birds singing, everything was perfect. Teao sensed a presence behind him. Stiffening, he switched into his cloaking mode - something that made him turn slightly invisible - and turned around.

Kelsie walks through the tree's as she stays within earshot of the beach. The waves are comforting to her. Though her range of within earshot is much larger then other's such as herself. That being because of her enhanced hearing. She steps closer to the sound of the waves and soon she can see out between the tree's at the water. She hears a shuffling type sound as if someone is walking of shifting their weight. She looks around but see's nobody."Whose there? Show yourself! I can hear you moving!" She stops approaching when her paws hit the sand.

Teao came out of his cloaking mode, seeing that the little wyre hound posed no threat. "Sorry for scaring you," he said. "It's just kind of... a reflex. My name is Teao." He bowed. "It's very nice to meet you." Teao observed her coloring, and a spotted seal popped into his head. "Your fur is simply stunning," he told her, trying to be a bit of a gentleman. He hoped he wasn't making a complete fool of himself.

Kelsie stands there and watches as a male leokat starts to appear. Oh that is a nifty ability. Though pointless against her hearing unless he was still for a long period of time and made no movement that would cause noise. The cons of having enhanced hearing. Yet also a good thing. "No. Didn't really scare me. More of a I like knowing who is around when I hear movement. Enhanced hearing. A blessing and a curse. Names Kelsie. Nice to meet you Teao." He has interesting coloring. She can't put a paw on where she has seen that design before. Though she looks down slightly at the compliment. She isn't all that comfortable with compliments. She doesn't receive them often."Why thank you for the compliment. I swear give me a tail and the seals would let me swim with them." Her lame attempt at a joke.

Teao laughs at Kelsie's joke. "Pretty and funny," he says. He raises his eyebrows. "Enhanced hearing, huh? That seems like it would be both good and bad." For a minute he feels sorry for the little wyre hound, having to hear everything and anything, but then realizes she might be the type to hate having people feel sorry for her. He looks back up at her. "So, what are you doing here on this nice fine day?" he asks.
