NATO Charter
We the United Factions of Gaia, hereby agree to the terms of this treaty and
its articles.
Articles of NATO Charter
-That all Factions of Gaia will have equal say in decisions involving political matters.
-That all Factions of Gaia have the right to peace, and tranquility, to justice and liberty both separate and jointly without the conflict of war, be they large or small.
-That no faction may claim dominion over any other faction for military or aggressive purposes, with out the consent of the United Factions of Gaia.
-That no faction may impede in the development of any other faction without the consent of the United Factions of Gaia.
-That no faction may place judgement upon any other faction concerning their political, social, or religious beliefs.
-That all here in shall jointly support the foundation of peace.
-That all armed conflicts should they occur between members of two or more member factions she adhere to the rules of engagement set forth by the United Factions.
We find that in order to create a prosperous and fruitful society that we the United Factions of Gaia agree to aid in the mutual defense and protection of peace, and in the most peaceful manner settle any dispute within our ranks. However should the need arise for an armed conflict against enemies foreign to those herein the treaty then all able shall provide aid in the form of humanitarian aid or otherwise in the form of military unity for mutual defense.
Rules of Engagement
Rules of Engagement are here by set forth to protect civilian life and provide for ethical and honorable acts of armed conflict.
- Humanitarian Aid vessels and personnel shall not be the target of any weapons nor shall they be stopped from providing aid where it is needed.
- All Humanitarian Aid vessels and personnel will allow themselves to be searched for weapons otherwise not allowed to them for defense and self protection.
- Any Humanitarian Aid vessel or personnel found to contain or or withhold weapons of war other then specified to allow them self defense and self protection shall be submitted to formal inquiry.
-The use of weapons of mass destruction shall be prohibited in area's populated heavily by civilians.
-The use of biological and toxic weapons shall be prohibited in area's populated heavily by civilians.
