I was getting tired of pretty/cute/goofy manga and anime...and then I ran across I Am A Hero. It's not pretty, it's not cute, the main character is goofy but only in an embarrassing (to him) way, and the art is so realistic that it gladdens my heart. It imagines what real Japanese citizens would do in a zombie attack. It's about how they react.
