Since it was bound to happen, I decided to make a thread for discussions involving anything from new age, paganism, magic, what have you. In my experience in the supernatural subforum in gaia, though these discussions are best for the religion and morality subforum, they always pop up there. So, I decided to make a discussion thread for those things more or less to prevent five thousand Wicca threads from appearing.
So! With that out of the way, onto the main thread!
As I stated, this thread is for the discussion of any that you'd classify as "spirituality". I know that's super general, but that's because this is a super general thread.
I will start off by introducing myself.
I am Lili. I will be studying to become a member of Kemetic Orthodox sometime in the near future. For now, I just call myself an eclectic pagan. I have been practicing tarot since I was in high school (so like for about 8 years now, maybe a little less). Other than that, I have practiced scrying and glamour (it's a very weak form of magic, but it can be fun to play around with). I've also made my own talisman and my own charm. I will also admit that I don't consider myself human. I've felt strongly about that notion since I was very young and I still feel that way now. Before this, I was part of the Christian church. I left because I did not like how I saw other Christians treating nonChristians and I did not like their views on homosexuality. Plus, I wasn't fond of waking up early on a weekend just to sit in a room full of snobby people for several hours. I have met some genuinely nice Christians whom even don't approve of the Christian mainstream, but that faith all together just wasn't for me. I do carry on their message of goodwill but I just did not want to be associated with them anymore.
