- Bio: Yoji was born into a minor family, that believed that swordsmanship was supreme, that nothing was more important than the edge of one’s sword. Yoji’s family descends from a legendary Shinigami who was once known as the ‘Blade Emperor’ a figure who using only swordsmanship, and his own bearing as a individual who could achieve anything through his own will, performed a feat of impossible skill and power. Yoji’s ancestor, using only his skill with a sword he used a technique that could only be called ‘Perfect’, cutting the physical into the realm beyond physical. The Perfect Strike, is the Kakita family’s ultimate goal, to recreate the skill, and the determination of their ancient ancestor. Yoji’s the first in three generations to be able to wield the sword in the way of the old family, his skill is incredible, and he has defeated even the most skilled of his family’s instructors without even needing to open his eyes. He is what the Kakita family call a Kensai (Sword Saint), and he is a real monster with the sword. Even before he tried to become a Shinigami he was already a swordsmanship prodigy, as well as the image of a composed noble. He had no real childhood, but in service to his family, he considered it no sacrifice at all.
It wasn’t until he began training to be a Shinigami that he met foes who could best him, and even peers who could challenge him. Still he never let talent grow his head, and remained humble to his instructors, and to those who acted in accordance to his ideal of a noble swordsman, those who didn’t (or even women warriors at times, though he’s mostly broken of this habit by now) receive only the scathing remarks of a man who wished to be pushed to his limits and more. Yoji’s connection to swords is almost inhuman, as he connected with ease to his weapon, and even when given a different sword his skill in using it increased by leaps and bounds even in the midst of a battle. By the time he graduated, no one in the entire academy, teacher or student, could fight him on any sort of equal standing with a sword. His capacity for swordsmanship, and his family’s ideals made him wary of other subjects of warfare, but he quickly discarded those notions. His belief is in the swordsman, and not in the samurai form of Honor, if an enemy cannot be felled by a sword, then a warrior must do as they will to defeat the enemy. The Kakita family’s duty was to the Seireitei first, and to themselves second. Thus he learned any other skills that he could, like a sponge, working tirelessly to increase his skills. When others would rest, or enjoy time with friend’s Yoji would train. His ideal was not for those of idle hands.
It wasn’t until he was placed into a Squad that Yoji learned the importance of leisure (in doses) to becoming stronger. He’d pushed his body too hard several times, and had limited his potential by overworking himself. Though with time, he was able to achieve his first goal, and become the first member of his family in five generations to use the awakened form of a Zanpakuto. His bond to his sword was incredible, and he learned to fight in completely different ways and forms, but in the end he always came back to the family’s style, and the hunt for the ‘Perfect Strike’, though he doesn’t expect to stumble into it, Yoji’s skill, and ability to use the first release, and his ever increasing desire for personal power, and well as the new desire for the creation of bonds, he found himself in the single digit seats within a very short time. No one to slow down once he achieved recognition, Yoji’s practice time did take a hit, once he met a girl who fancied him, and they spent a long amount of time together. Yoji feared that his dream might not be feasible anymore, but he’d found a new dream, one that he was happier with than he ever expected to be. Thus his sword’s grip faltered and his skill remained stagnant for a full five years.
Then came a hunt, a powerful creature, a hollow that consumed Kido, and other reishi based attacks, and even could use the stolen power to harden its body easily dealt with the several warriors that had been sent after it, it was only when it was merely Yoji, and his lover that remained, that the creature toyed with them. Yoji was easily defeated, and soundly tossed aside, before the creature tore into his love, the creature spoke, teasing Yoji for his weakness, and that it preferred the soft flavor of women over the stench of men, and it would be with him soon enough. Yoji’s agony was incredible, even as his broken body slowly stood, and took in hand and equally broken sword, he glared at the monster before him. To this day Yoji only remembers one thing of the fight with the creature, and that is one word ‘Angelus’. Yoji had managed to nearly save his love, and they had time to share heartfelt goodbyes, but there was one important thing she told him, which pushed him forward again. She told him to follow his dream, that she saw it, and she finally understood, he needed it, to achieve his dream. They shared one last embrace, before she passed away. From that day, Yoji’s skill has grown at a rate that most would call genius, his connection to his sword has never been stronger, and he remembers, he knows now that just as his love told him, he can’t be just a sword, nor can he be just a man. He must be a Swordsman, and he can’t stop being either one, to achieve his dreams.

- Character Description: Yoji’s body is honed by a life of training to be a swordsman, and has taken excellent care of himself, he always seems to have a piercing look about him, and can give a the thousand yard stare with the best of them.

- Zanpakutō Shikai Appearance Basic Form: Kami Katta always takes the same primary form when first awoken, but its form is so fluid that it is pointless to attempt to detail them all, as a new one could be created on a moment’s notice.
- Battlefield Changes: The air seems unnaturally still around Yoji, as if the world was holding its breath.
- Zanpakutō Shikai Abilities
Primary Ability: Mastery of Form: This power is innate to the very being of Yoji’s Shikai, and allows the weapon to change in form to that of any other sword, or blade that he’s ever seen. It doesn’t change the powers, or mimic anything other than pure form.
Primary Ability: Edge of Destiny: Even when compared to other more powerful Zanpakuto, Kami Katta’s sheer maliability, has granted it amazing durability, and cutting power. It is a sword that with enough force can cut anything, and has yet to ever be chipped much less broken.
Passive Power: Inclination of Perfection: This is a power that represents the perfection of an art, and it is an enhancement, for those who wield Kami Katta in any form find their mastery of the blade increased to an impossible degree, and to those who are already masters will find themselves reaching the heights of the impossible. This power also allows one to use their skill with other weapons interchangeably between Kami Katta’s forms. (Meaning that skill in one blade above all, still allows one to use all of the sword’s forms equally). This is also an enhancement to what some might call, ‘Combat Sense’.
Ultimate Power: Angelus: The edge of the angel’s tear, a blade to cut away even the darkness of the night. The power of Angelus is the ultimate form of Kami Katta’s Shikai, and it is a form the sword can only maintain for a total of five minutes per day at Yoji’s current skill level. This is sword that gathers the power of the world, and turns it against those who challenge the master of the sword. In this state, all of Yoji’s physical abilities and Kido are enhanced as the sword draws the energy inwards enhancing him. Or in a moment of extreme need, Yoji and expel all of this power at once, creating a powerful slash that is the concentration of the concept of ‘edge’. Almost nothing can withstand this cut, if they attempt to block it, though High Ranking Bakudo (or other simular barriers, usually needing rank 68+, though if the Angelus absorbs very powerful energy sources it can vary.) can do the trick they have to be cast after Angelus is cutting, as it the sword will absorb the barrier's energy to fuel it otherwise. It is literal straight forward arcing cut, and can only be used if none of the five minute (15 post limit) is used.

- Zanpakutō Bankai Name: Hirameki no Kami Katta (True Name: Amatsu no Kami Katta)
- Zanpakutō Bankai Appearance: False Form The false name, awakens a pair of twin swords that have little in common with the original Kami Katta, each sword being unusable as they are, being made of pure light, and shadow.
- Bankai Battlefield Changes: The light swirls around the white blade, while shadows seem to coalesce around the second.
- Zanpakutō Bankai Abilities
Sole Power:Power of the False Light: This power is the sole power of the false name, which is still incredibly dangerous, allowing the swords to constantly consume energy from around them, they provide the power of Angelus, but they also have another power all their own, which is the power to release waves of light, or shadow that consume all that they touch. The swords may also manipulate, and shift shadows around the user, and the light sword can do the same to sources of light.
- Zanpakutō Bankai Time Able to Hold: Three Minutes (Nine Posts)
- Achieved? This is not Yoji’s true Bankai, but merely the power he has gained from training, and achieving a state akin to Bankai. If he were to ever learn the secret, and gain the power of his true sword, it would be completely different. True Bankai’s name is listed above as well. Even as a false Bankai, Yoji has not mastered it, and is in the process of learning how to use it, even if he wouldn’t use it as it feels useless to him.

Rookie: Yoji disdain’s hand to hand combat and is only proficient to the degree required of him.
- Agility:
Medium/Flexible: These traits play heavily into his sword play, and he is working to get even more agile, and flexible.
- Swordsmanship:
In the field of swordsmanship, Yoji even as a Vice Captain he is considered prodigal, and amazingly skilled. He is considered cocky, but when he backs it up, his amazing skill, and ability to learn, and adjust on the fly really shines through. He uses a unique style all his own, as well as his family’s secret style that has never been taught outside the family since the age of the Blade Emperor himself. He believes that given more time and experience no one will be able to challenge his swordsmanship, and if his currently rate of growth, and skill are a measure, he isn’t lying. He is incredibly flexible, and his weaknesses are merely those of inexperience, or a lacking in other areas around swordsmanship. A true master would also say, he is invested too much in sword, and doesn’t yet understand the self. Even considering all this, he is probably one of the most powerful pure swordsmen in the Seireitei. He also picks up new sword styles at an amazing pace, seemingly able to pick up a new sword, test its weight and already have familiarity with it. This is in part due to his Shikai, and the rest due to natural ability as his family's Kensai.
- Shunpo:
High-Medium: Yoji makes heavy use of Shunpo in his swordsmanship, not preferring to remain still if possible.

Okay! I read over your profile and her are my minute fixes:
Ability Wise:
In Shikai form, with Angelus, what can stop the ultimate ability? Those pieces of information are always good tid bits to add :3
We've already spoken about the false Bankai, I like what you've done with it and I believe the timing is perfect since he's a lower ranked officer. Maybe a post count would help with the three minute thing?
Other than that, I think everything is dandy. ^^
