- Bio: Eun Ji was born as a a normal child in South Korea, a healthy baby boy originally named Jungyu Hyun. However, as he grew, he rebelled against his family, even at a young age. It started when he was roughly five. He saw something cute, and liked it. Never mind that it was women's clothing, he wanted it. But even after a tantrum, the cute dress would not be his. The next time, he was seven and actively sought out something cute to wear, going so far as to steal it. He didn't get in trouble when he was found out, not by the clerks in the store anyways. He was simply a child. His parents were not so forgiving though. He was punished, but this did not quench his desire. At age thirteen, Eun Ji left home and ran away. He managed to steal some women's clothing from laundry lines and began to wear it. He needed to look different, so why not dress different? Besides, Eun Ji liked the clothes, they felt nice. Alas, not even a year after a surprisingly successful escape from his home, Eun Ji was caught out in a traffic incident and killed. The only casualty at the incident, the death was a bit mysterious, but when his parents got the phone call that their son had died, he was there, as a Plus to see their reactions. He expected scorn, hatred, anger, something mean and cruel. However, Eun Ji found himself shocked that they cared and didn't even mind the clothing he was wearing. This actually gave him enough peace of heart to move on to the land of the dead.
Once inside the Rukongai, Eun Ji found himself at more trouble than he had at home back in the World of the Living. In the Rukongai, many people fought, and Eun Ji simply sought the safety of a warm home. He stole along the streets when he felt safe, ever working to move to better areas. He would trade up in outfits with every chance that he could, taking whatever looked better than what he wore at the time. There were several occasions where he found himself mistaken for a girl and nearly raped. The latter was terrifying whereas he was often confused for a girl, especially once he had lived long enough to find some clothing he could stuff to give himself a more feminine appearance. It would just so happen, that this would in turn actually be what got him into the Seiretei as a Shinigami only a short while later in his afterlife.
Just over a century and a quarter had past before Eun Ji found himself nearing the upper echelons of the Rukongai, strolling the streets of the Third District. Here was where life would change for Eun Ji when one rather perverted Shinigami would have his eye caught by Eun Ji's looks. The cross dressing boy found it hard to talk with this man around, not because of emotions, but rather the man would not let him talk very much. The pervert Shinigami thought it was "cute", so Eun Ji kept the persona up. Later, when he found himself called out to by other Shinigami, he thought they were all some perverted group, especially when they identified themselves with the man who constantly sought Eun Ji's favor. He had been picked to join Shino Academy. Thinking it would help him, Eun Ji accepted, and was enrolled. The original plan, however, was that Eun Ji would be grateful and join the pervert's Division. But Eun Ji wouldn't have any of that. It was a nice gesture, but not one he could accept. This pervert wouldn't like it, he thought, if it was discovered Eun Ji was a boy. So rather than concerning himself with bedroom affairs, he turned to his sword fighting and was eventually recruited into the Eleventh Division. Later, Eun Ji had heard that this one act had actually started quite a bit of static between the man who wanted the cross dressing boy and the Division that chose him. This was only a small tidbit of information, and not something that mattered much though. Later, when Eun Ji was discovered to not have a Melee typed zanpakuto, he was switched out of the Eleventh Division and placed into the Seventh. This was just before the greatest catastrophe the Gotei Thirteen would face.
When hell broke loose and the Great Ash War began, Eun Ji was a recent transfer in the Seventh Division, but his time in the Eleventh stayed. He found himself quickly abandoning his post to fight alongside the Eleventh on the front lines, using high speed and great mobility to control the flow of his opponents. Consequently, when the war ended in disaster, Eun Ji was removed from the ranks of the Seventh and put on probation for a very long time. This kept him from missions, from fighting, and from doing most things he enjoyed, but it did not stop him from training. So when new orders came down from the Head Captain, Eun Ji prepared himself for the worst. He was expecting expulsion at best, execution at worst. Instead, he found himself crossing blades with Kokoro, the Head Captain and former Division Eleven Captain. Although it was a particularly one sided fight, forcing Eun Ji to be pressed to the defensive to the point of submitting to the defeat, when he was offered the role of being one of the "Five-En" a unit designed by hand picked people of Kokoro's choosing, he found himself delighted and joined right away. It wasn't until later he realized that the members were all women, which made Eun-Ji curious if anyone there even knew he was actually a guy.
