Yo yo yo! It's time for quests! Here's how quests work in our room: Each character is going to have a little "challenge" that the guests can do. For example (we had this system in the Flying Dream Room), the guests had to make Eran's character laugh by telling her a funny joke, and they had to go retrieve ingredients for a recipe my character was making. These tasks should be simple and relatively easy to do. When a guest has completed your characters quest, you'll PM them with a special "coin" (we will have our own personalized coins). When a guest collects all the coins from all the characters, they get a prize! Feel free to ask me if I'm not making any sense. Eran also knows about the quest system we used last year. It was really successful and really fun! So I want each of us to think about something fun that your character could do with the guests. Maybe Tom Sawyer wants guests to paint a fence? Jay Gatsby wants you to write a love poem to inspire him? Obviously these are kind of lame... but you'll think of better ones! Hatter- Design him teacups Pan- Find him thimbles Tom- Scavenger hunt Poni- Poem about unrequited love

A Glass Passenger For Peter Pan, we could have people give him thimbles XP I did that with my tinker last year ^.~ It was fun. I might still have the tony thimble I used if you want it.

Thimbles! That's really cute. How would we do that? Would we make them find the thimbles in the thread, or have them role play it out?
What I did last year for my quest was at any point in time, I'd randomly post an ingredient for my potion in the thread, and the guests that see it would PM me with what page they found it on, and I'd give them their coin. You could do that with thimbles!
I think for mine this year, I'm going to have people design me new and fun tea cups. They can draw them, write a description, or do anything they want.

You could relate your quest to Greek Mythology in general, since the original Meg is from Greek Myths.

In The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, those white washing kids give Tom three items. A sucker, a kite, and a sandwich. I wanna relate my quest around that, but I have no clue how. Maybe like a scavenger hunt? Like if you see someone kiss another person in the room, you receive a sucker. Or something like that. Then they PM me with the page they found the kissing post on in order for me to give them the coin. Doesn't have to be the kiss thing. It's just an example. Maybe we could stage it so its obvious. Like if you see the Mad Hatter pouring tea on his pocket watch you receive the sucker. That way it could be planned out and guaranteed for them to receive the coin.

Tom's getting the guests to spy on the other hosts, so they have to look out for different cohosts doing different things.

Maybe a poem about unreturned love? Unreturned love could work really well. I think that's a good idea! ^_^ Especially since yeah, poni will be pre-barricade.

Hey guys! Time's really coming up on us now, so we've got to get quests squared away or cut them. Most of you have your ideas, and that's great. If you haven't I would love it if you could come up with some task related to your character that the guests could do for gold/prizes. (Also, on that subject, if you're able to contribute gold toward prizes, and want to, please let me know. I've got about 2 million to spend, and I'm trying to make more.) It's almost ball time! Tomorrow is August!
