Bio: Her older sister,Mia, was the star in the family; becoming a fearless trainer at 10 and growing into an excellent trainer, an average coordinator, and a poor breeder. It's always been Lydia's dream to be as great with pokemon as her sister. There's just one problem: She's terrible at training pokemon. She knows the basics, but can't to put them together to guide her pokemon (well, her sister's pokemon that she borrows). She's far from the prodigy that her sister is, but with some help, new friends, pokemon, and practice, she might just catch up enough to make her dream come true. And hey! After last year, she's doing a lot better! It's a work in progress, but she's getting there; slowly, but surely! It was the shared dream of her and her sister dream to train and become friends with every kind of pokemon; ever since they found their first pokemon: an abandoned eevee. They took its pokeball and told nurse Joy they'd care for it until the trainer came back for it. After 2 years, and no trainer, eevee was a permanent part of their family. She's naive and a bit frantic when the pressure is on; but, otherwise she's a typical, awkward 15 year old girl. She decided to join a trainer's school to really focus and harness any talent she has after her sister announced that she was challenging the Hoenn league. And now: she's barely picked up any confidence or courage from her first day... A work in progress.
Though, after being pulled around by fate, having to deal with disobedient pokemon, taking a few challenges head on, fighting the last of team rocket and having the privilege of training rayquaza for a time, she's on her way! A lot more confidence has come to her, but she's still pretty oblivious, awkward, and down right clumsy. Sometimes her teachers might wonder about her and if she'll ever be ready. But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day. She's still set on her goal to be a pokemon champion, but it's a long road. With some help from a trio of shallow girls in Adell, and the support of her friends in Cerulean City and the academy itself, she might just make it... If she can focus long enough to study for those pesky exams.

Personality: She is normally bubbly and very friendly as she likes to make friends and be near people. Most likely to stand up for someone. But can have somewhat neurotic behavior outside of her battling. As well as her outburst of angry as well as brute strength. But she is very smart. But sometimes gullible and over thinks situations as well as quick to jump into a situation. But also inquisitive and can be found lost in thought. Now alongside this part of her, there’s another part of her that is also more studious and a bigger risk taker. She has taken on some tsundere like qualities about her.
Bio: Iris, to start, is a upper middle class girl from Nimbasa City. She was a normal child, had a normal childhood- as an only child with too much time on her hands- and made it her point to get along with people and be likable. One can say that she was sheltered compared to other kids as her interaction with Pokemon were keep to friends and classrooms. Her parents were never trainers and they never keep Pokemon in their household.
Originally she wasn’t planning on doing anything with Pokémon and go about things as normal. But then, a little after her 16th birthday, she found a Joltik in the forest area near the city. Instantly, she was charmed by its cuteness and fell love with it, despite being a bug pokemon. A pokemon type she avoided for a long time due to her previous idea of them being gross and scary. Immediately after keeping Joltik, she started to read more about Pokemon and talk to other trainers in the city. After hearing the stories of traveling and the adventures that awaited Trainers and trainer alike, she had a love for all Pokémon. After, it wasn't long before she was wanted to travel and become a trainer herself, she had the Pokemon to start. The idea even came to mind to be one of the Top Trainers despite her late start. Her parents were at first against sending their daughter to travel alone. After all, they figured that she was starting far too long and won't know what to do on her own. But after convincing them about the academy, she’s allow to go and begin her schooling as a second year based on her age . She is determined to make up for lost time and become on the top trainers in the world.
During her first year at the academy, a lot happened to her. She met up with a guy name Marco that she met during the summer and started a manga worthy scenario where she started out as ‘enemies’ that argue do to a miscommunication, a ‘rivalry’ and friendship with a girl name Niara who became close to Marco during the time that Iris and Marco weren’t talking. She finally made up with Marco and realized that she had feelings for Marco and even attempted it to him that resulted in a supposed rivalry with Niara who liked him as well. Then her and Marco became ‘closer’ but did her and Niara to the point that all three realized that it was better for all three of them were better together than having only one being chosen and not really being happy knowing that the third was hurt. She also learned when her parents arrived in Adell that they were former trainer themselves and more about her family’s past as well the future as her mother was pregnant. One of the big surprises was the egg that she found was in fact a Kyurem egg. Now that the year is over, she is looked forward to a fun summer… But will a visit from an estrange relative change all of that?

Personality: Gregarious, gentle, and academically intelligent. He isn’t one to talk about his inner feelings though, a terrible liar (probably the worst in the whole world!), and has a really bad tendancy to completely avoid talking about the things that are bothering him out of fear of being a burden to others. Since coming to Phoenix, he’s grown as a person, and he is no longer as shy as he used to be, though he’s still just as bashful as before! However, this young man can be very stubborn when he wants to be. Vern is a great friend to have, who blushes easily whenever he gets embarrassed, and a great source of fun.
Bio:
Before Phoenix Academy: Vern grew up all his life in Lacunosa Town, born and raised there. His mother was a teacher at the local elementary school –and later a High School-; his father worked as one of the night guards, to make sure Kyurem didn’t try to eat anybody in the middle of the night or something. Growing up, he was told many terrible stories about why he shouldn’t go out at night, why the dark is such an awful thing, things like that, due to the town lore’s. So, naturally, he went outside only one time at night, and he regretted for the rest of his life.
One time when he was about eleven years old or so, some of his friends decided to go see what really was out there in the big-scary darkness. So, the group of them –Vern being rather reluctant to go with them, but did in order to ‘be a man’, as his friends put it- wandered off into the woods. After many hours of absolutely nothing exciting happening, they came across a huge crater in the ground, tucked away deep into the woods. Crawling inside, they soon discovered a huge creature that looked kind of like a carcass, resting inside. It was Kyurem, Vern knew it, and tried to tell them that they should leave now while they could. Not listening to him, for they all just thought he was being a wuss –and they told him just that- and they developed the intelligent idea to prod it with sticks. Pissed off that its nap had been interrupted, Kyurem roared ferociously; then ate the closest kid to him. Scared beyond belief, the rest of them scurried out of chasm as fast as they could. Unfortunately, in his rage, Kyurem flew at the fleeing boys, and tried to stop them. The group was half-way through the woods, somehow able to avoid Kyurem in the process, when the grey-beast swooped down and clawed at another one of them, breaking both of his friend’s arms. Vern tried his best to help his friend up, lifting him onto his back, but before they got very far, Kyurem grabbed his crippled friend and swooped off with him. Knowing in utter despair that their friend was lost forever, they ran as fast as they could back to town, before Kyurem came back and kidnapped another one of them. Ever since then, Vern refuses to go out at night, no matter where he is, and is deftly afraid of the dark, and Kyurem. When he was eleven years of age, Vern came out about his homosexuality to his friends and family, almost all of whom where perfectly OK with it and supportive. However, his father, Daniel Keliikoa, was not, and disowned him that very day. A few weeks later, his father got clipped because he didn't want to produce anymore "f***ing f****ts" into the world. Since coming out, Vern and his father have hated each, and the tension between them only increases as the years have grown on. Recently in the past year and a half, his father's hatred for Vern has hit the point of physical violence, and will even go so far as to hit Naomi Keliikoa, Vern's mother, whenever she tries to defend him. Naturally, with the increasing tension and abuse in his household, ontop of the already traumatizing event with Kyurem, Vern started to seep into the beginnings of depression.
At the beginning of Freshman year (age fourteen), Vern and his bestfriend/life-long friend, Ryan, whom was also homosexual, started dating and were probably the happiest couple in all of existence. Ryan's family were founders and leaders of a rapidly-growing Eastern Unovan rebellion against Team Rocket. But, it would not be tolerated by Gianna and Gino, and on May 15th Sophomore year Ryan and his family perished in a fire in the middle of the night. For awhile after that, Vern and his group of best friends (Vern, Ryan, Riley, Sunshine "Sunny", and Diana) were beyond upset and spent almost every day mourning over their friend. The death of his boyfriend, and bestfriend in the whole world, put Vern further into depression. Not long after his sophomore year of high school ended, Vern’s mother got a position teaching at a Univeristy in a city called Magnolia, in some foreign region he’d never heard of before. Upon learning of this, Vern snapped. The only thing that'd been keeping him sane in all of the madness going on, were his remaining friends, whom he'd most likely never see again. He treatened to kill himself if they went, his friends were all that he had left, the only things important to him at that point, that'd been the least effected by all the chaos in the world. Naturally, his mother snapped him out of it, using her charismatic yet calming ways to soothe his mind long enough to convince him to come to Phior with them. On the account that he do whatever the hell he wanted with his room -no matter what they thought otherwise-, and he got the freedom to get out of the house whenever he wanted (so as to get away from his father), Vern finally agreed to coming. Right before leaving, his psychiatrist prescribed him with a heavy dosage of Anti-depressants that work for the most part so long as he takes them twice a day.
His parents moved to Alcove City after his mom got a job working as a Physics Professor at the Magnolia City University.
(From here on, his written bio is more for my benefit than anyone elses. Read only if you really want to know what happened to him last school year)
Summer Break before PA: The summer before his first year at the Academy, Vern was walking through a forest near the Research Facility in Alcove City -just a few days after moving- when, as he got farther into it, a storm began to brew, but no rain came. Like a reasonable person, he tried to get out of the forest before the storm got too bad and started to rain, but it just got worse by the second. Soon, he couldn’t see anything, the wind was overpowering, and lightning crackled everywhere. At the tallest tree in the forest, seen clearly from where Vern was only a short distance away, lightning struck that tree; causing a mad wild fire. The winds from the storm made the fire spread rapidly, causing a flaming tree to fall directly infront of Vern’s path of travel, which ultimately scared Valene (who was at the time, an Axew) so badly that in her fright she clawed his chest, creating three parallel scars across his front chest. Everything after that moment is/was a whole blur to Vern, and the next thing he knew he’d woken up inside the hollow of a tree’s roots. Valene was with him, passed out as well, and on the other side of the hidden hollow was a mysterious, glittering, purple egg with light blue and yellow stripes nestled on a burnt patch of ground. That same burnt patch was found next to the egg on the side of the wall. It took a long time for Vern to put two-and-two together. Dazed and with no memory as to what happened to him to get him into that tree hollow, he returned Valene to her Pokeball and climbed out of the hollow. Vern discovered that a perfect circle surrounded the tree he’d just been hiding under… Completely untouched, as if the fire was forced away from that part of the forest. He discovered that that tree he’d been in was the very same one that’d been struck by lightning, up until his memory was lost. Unknowing that he was covered in dried blood, some broken bones, dozens of debris were stuck and jabbed into his flesh; covered in various other open wounds (To this day, he still can’t explain how he did that!), Vern walked around the burnt forest for about an hour before a search helicopter found him. The Search and Rescue team that found him were quick to start asking him questions about where he’d been, what’d happened to him, etc., since they knew that that was the kid that they were searching for. Instead? Vern passed out from exhaustion.
A few days later, he woke up in the hospital, and discovered that Vern had been missing for three days when the rescue squad found him in the forest. His mother had called the police when Vern didn’t come home for dinner, didn’t send her a text, she couldn’t get a hold of him, and had no idea where he’d run off to when they heard about the fire. By the time the Rescue Squad had found him, they’d actually started to think that he’d perished in the fire. Vern stayed in the Hospital for several more days after that –with much complaining- until he was finally discharged. In total, he spent ten days at the hospital, and three days hidden under the tree, passed out. Obviously, he took the strange egg with him from the forest. As he was in the hospital though, several news-reporting agencies came and interviewed him.
Several weeks passed, and Vern was still left without anybody to talk to. After his ordeal at the hospital, all he really wanted to do was hide up into his multi-colored room. One day though, his terrible, abusive, and homophobic father caught him looking at stuff that he more or less didn’t approve of. This resulted in his father’s wrath; Vern ran out of the house to get as far away from his dad as possible for the time being. He ran off to the local playground and decided to sit on some swings.
This is around when fate decided to lay down another card for Vern. Coming from a coffee shop after getting punched in the face for hitting on a particularly attractive man, came Oliver Norewood. He noticed the sad looking Vern sitting on the swings all by his lonesome; he decided to go over to him and see what was wrong. Awkward conversation started, with Vern getting embarrassed, Oliver recognizing him from the newspaper (he was on the front page!) from a few weeks ago, and the greenheaded young man decided to ask him about what happened to him out in the forest. This was the first and only person that Vern had talked to since arriving in Alcove, other than the doctors and press (who didn’t count!). Glad to finally have somebody to talk to, they hit it off really well that afternoon, but as the sun began to set Vern’s fear of the night kicked in, but because he and Oli got along so well, Vern decided to let him stay the night. From there, their relationship turned into a friends with benefits kind of deal, and they wound up spending almost the entire summer going on adventures and hanging out. During this time, they never officially dated, and always remained as friends with benefits.
His last few nights of summer though, they had to spend apart, due to school coming up soon and other family things. During an argument with his father, stuff went down and Vern ended up defending the only friend he’d been able to make that entire summer by taking a beating. Vern ended up going to school with these injuries.
Phoenix Academy First Year:
Throughout his first school-year at Phoenix Academy, Vern made friends with Iris “Clueless” and Hikari Haruno, Brianna, Marco, and many others. The year started off rough, for several reasons: because his roommate Marco Sombra de Milagros, didn’t know that Vern was gay, and so viewed him as a romantic rival towards Iris Haruno. Eventually, this was resolved and they’ve since become good friends. The second reason, has to do with Oliver. During the first few days of school, it was quickly discovered that they were roommates (fate has a cruel sense of humor) and so naturally his libido-high bestfriend decided to approach Vern in his usual manner one night. But Vern, not wanting to tell his bestfriend what had happened, refused him; while also not telling him what had happened. It was in the middle of gym the next day, when they were all doing the rope climb, that Vern’s injuries decided to act up (because a certain Iris Haruno decided to get a piggy back ride from him!) and he was forced to go to the infirmary for several weeks. The only visit that Oliver made was the first day, where they broke into an argument that ended badly thanks to Vern’s stubbornness. During their temporary fall-out over the Partright trip and the duration of his stay at the infirmary (eventually making amends at the end), Oliver ended up hooking with Gavin Green, and Vern’s depression just kept going downhill.
Sometime between then, and the next event, Vern’s mysterious egg hatched in Mister Jone’s Breeding 101 class, at the sametime as her siblings, Entei, and Suicune. He named her Rose.
On October 1st, Vern experienced a terrible nightmare involving Kyurem, and in his fright began to literally claw himself with his nails. That’s when Clueless-chan showed up and got him to relax, feel better, and bandage up his arms. He re-awoke that same day (after missing his classes) with really low-blood sugar and taking an accidental overdose on his anti-depressants, which causes him to lose his all of his breakfast and all of his dosage for the day. Later, he and Oliver went down to the mines, where they met up with Iris Haruno. The two greenheads metaphorically and almost literally cornered him and pestered him about what was going on. In an attempt to bond with Vern further, Iris decided to show to him her newborn Kyurem since she found out about Rose the Raikou earlier. This triggered Vern’s fears, forcing him into both a panic attack and his fight-or-flight instincts. Vision blacked out and blind from the panic attack, tears of fright streaming down his face, he ran away from the baby Kyurem. The two greenheads split up, Iris going through the yellow, and Oliver going down the other side of the mines. There, he discovered Vern scared out of his wits, tearing his arms up with his nails, and going “go away, go away, go away…”. After struggling with the panicking, blinded, and severely injured Vern, Oliver managed to get through to Vern that it was him, and that Kyurem wasn’t there to hurt him. After a few minutes, he was able to get Vern safely to the infirmary. It was there, that Vern told him about what happened to him with Kyurem all those years ago. After some talking and hugging, he convinced Oli to spend the night with him. The next morning, he was discharged the following morning, after it was revealed on the news what was going on at Mossdeep City with Team Rocket, out in the Hoenn region.
Late October, Vern’s parents came for a visit. Earlier that day, Vern and Oli got into another heated argument, leaving them both with very hurt feelings. While out showing the town to his mother, they stopped by the Pokemon Center where they were staying so that she could pick something up. They thought that his dad was still out, which he was. But the object that she wanted was actually a box full of Vern’s birthday gifts (which was in a few days) and during that time period, his dad came back drunk and still pissed about Oliver punching him in the face earlier (which Vern was unaware of). Needless to say, that night his father almost killed him and would’ve done so if it hadn’t been After getting into a struggle with Gavin because he’d attempted to do a good dead and take Vern to the infirmary after noticing how weak he was. This resulted in Vern’s extreme stubbornness to accidentally kick Gavin as he was slung over his shoulder and busted his lip. A few days later, in early November, Vern was more or less flown into the infirmary by Briana, for more or less the same reason… After a LOT of complaining and struggling on Vern’s behalf! Eventually, he spent the next few weeks, until the end of December, sitting in the Infirmary, but still allowed to attend non-gym courses. He was discharged from the hospital a few days before the month ended, and his friends ended up throwing a belated-surprise birthday party for him. The events of this consisted of a tipsy Oli cheating on his boyfriend (Gavin) with Vern, causing yet another bit of heartache and tension for the two.
The month of December went by well and fairly smoothly for Vern, no trips to infirmary, but his depression just kept getting progressively worse and worse. He and Oliver didn’t really talk that much in class, and the few times that they were together in the dorm, Vern was too afraid to talk to him. So that when on for awhile, throughout most of December ever since the birthday-party incident. During the Hailstone Trip, Vern received a phonecall late at night from his mother, who was crying and speaking frantically to him in her native language, Japanese (which he speaks) about his fathter, what she did, and what he did in response to finding out. Vern ended up spending the entire night trying to calm his down his beloved mother, and trying to piece together what happened. Eventually, he found out that his mother had cheated on his dad one night with a coworker at the University (Not that he could really blame her…) and ended up getting pregnant from that encounter. Naturally, when his dad found out he was pissed, and did terrible, violent things to her. During the conversation, his father picked up the phone and informed Vern that if he ever stepped foot in the house again, he was a dead man. Vern’s depression ultimately hit a peak and he refused to tell anybody what was bothering him. A few days later, the night of December 23rd, Vern took all of his anti-depressants at once, several painkillers, and slit his wrists. Somehow, Oliver’s unhatched Natu was able to warn the young man that there was something wrong with Vern, and he was the one who discovered him lying on the bathroom floor after hitting his head on the counter from a fall. It was Oliver who got Vern to the Hailstone Pokemon Center (since there wasn’t a Hospital). For the next day, Vern lay in a coma, and all of the doctor’s were certain that he wasn’t going to make it, given the amount of toxins he intook and his bloodlose. But finally, after much anxiety and waiting, and after suffering through a terrible, drug-enhanced nightmare, Vern awoke to the surprise of everybody. He eventually explained everything that had been going on over the past year, what happened with his old lover, the phonecall, and just everything. He spent the rest of the break in the Pokemon Center, Oli there with him the entire time, and his friend always coming over to visit. When Vern was here in the center, he and Oli confessed their feelings to eachother, and they’ve been a couple since.
February, Team Rock invaded Adell and the Academy on Valentine’s Day. They were forced to evacuate on an emergency train, which took them to an evacuation boat that then carried them off to an unmarked island on the map, called “Deception Island.” There, Team Rocket was unable to find them, as they recovered and hid. On Marching Day, Vern was one of the many who chose to go back to the Academy to take back their homes. He and Oliver were the ones who scouted ahead at the beginning to take out the snipers on the Pokemon Center rooftop and it was Vern who ferried everybody to the Pokemon Center with Rae (now a Kirlia). He and the rest of the students managed to take back the Pokemon Center with the art of surprise and ice-types. Then, he, Oliver, Marco, Iris, and Niara, went out to the Old Oak and defeated Team Rocket Commander Alexander Dubois.
Pokemon: Vulpix Nickname: Nala Pokemon Level: 38? (I honestly don’t know what level she’ll be at by the time the year ends, but that’s her current one) Pokemon Move set: Flamethrower, Hex, Hypnosis, and Fire Spin. Pokemon special ability: Flash Fire: Absorbs fire type attacks and increases Sp. Attack. Hidden ability: Drought: Causes the weather to turn harsh. Nature: Calm (Increases Special Defense; decreases Attack) Characteristic: Somewhat vain (Increases Special Defense) Personality: Slightly vain, loves her teammates and trainer to no end, very loyal, spoiled a tad bit by Vern, and is great friend. She likes Iris very much, Oliver less so, and she is also quite fond of Kitsu. Held Item: Soothe Bell History: Nala was found while Vern was out in the park as a little newborn (with still only one tail!) Its mother was nowhere to be seen, and it was obvious that she hadn’t eaten in days, so he took the mewling baby and brought it to the Day-Care Center. Vern would check up on the baby every day, until finally she was big enough, and healthy enough, for the day-care people to let Vern keep her. As far as Nala knows/remembers, she’s always been with Vern, and he’s her daddy. Other: She also wears a pretty pendent around her neck, that has her name engraved on the back of it that Vern got for her.

Personality: Very shy, quiet and sometimes afraid of new people or sudden events, but very happy and cheerful when with her closest friends
Bio: Niara is the only child to her parents and next in line to take over the family company in charge of manufacturing medical equipment. When Niara was about 10 or 12, Team Galactic attempted to kidnap her and it traumatized her enough to scare her into locking herself into her family estate for a few years. She was saved from the attack by a passing Gallade and Gardevoir who remain with her parents to this day. After some pressuring, they got her to go with the newborns of the Gallade and Gardevoir as well as the Growlithe pup she went to the Academy with.
In the Academy, she met Marco, and soon after Iris, both of who she became very attached with and they all eventually came into a three-way relationship. It was this same year Niara discovered she was actually bi, though she still hasn't told her parents. She learned and caught some new pokemon she had become attached to, more notably Reshiram, the legendary white dragon. But Team Rocket attacked and the Academy was sent into hiding, pain and misery gripping at her every day until she got a letter from her parents. She eventually joined in returning to the Academy to take it back.
Now Niara is taking a final year at the Academy, ready to learn more in a school she knew and loved. Her parents, having been extremely thankful to Annie and the staff, donated a large sum of money (about two million PK) and some medical equipment to help the injured. While Niara is once again scared from another attack, she found herself relying on her friends a little more, realizing she wasn't alone anymore.

Personality: Maria has gone from shy and quiet to outgoing and confident. She also seems to be slightly depressed from time to time.
Bio: Maria was always one to be interactive with Pokémon. She has always preferred Pokémon over other human beings. This made her more or less cut off from any really human contact. Living with her mother all her life she tried to make her daughter open up and interact with others. However she was unsuccessful and Maria still proves to be as quiet as ever when around other humans. Although having a happy life with her mother her father left when she was five to go on a journey. He however never returned. Some said it was because he didn’t care about his daughter as much as she once thought, but her mother would always say differently. Deep down however Maria knew her father didn’t care simply by his actions alone. That was the reason why she became so attached to Pokémon. They became a sense of comfort for her.
Once that was finally realized Maria was given Seel the only friend she ever cared about most in the world. Together the two of them have tried to help other Pokémon who need help whether they were wild or someone else’s. If she could she would help all the abandon and injured Pokémon in the world despite it being a very hard task to do and very unlikely to accomplish. Being sent off to the academy Maria is still rather shy however she is starting to open up more now that she is there. Currently working on understanding the emotions and personalities of different Pokémon she hopes to have a better understanding for what her team wants be it to battle or just to be in the spotlight. Until she learns to be as good a person as Nurse Joy Maria will keep on trying until she successes, to understand and health Pokémon like Nurse Joy does.
Now after experiencing a pokemon’s disobedience and taking care of the legendary Keldeo after an egg she found mysteriously hatched Maria has learned that there is more to live then she knew. She’s accepted that not all pokemon are willing to listen at first and that some friendships are made to last forever. However even with new found confidence and a more outgoing personality Maria is still very much lost in the world with the loss of her legendary friend. Still to this day she has a picture of Keldeo, her Cubchoo, and herself all together on the last day they had left. It is the one thing she keeps holding onto and truly wishes he hadn’t needed to leave.

It’s tough with only a picture to go on. Isn’t into contests or battles really but he’ll do what he must for Maria.

Personality: Lacus is rather sweet and kind. She loves to help others and loves to be social. The only change in her personality from last year is she’s less naïve about what goes on in the world.
Bio: Lacus was born in Lilycove City. At the very young age of three her mother passed away due to an unknown illness. Living with her father she is told everyday about how much she is like her mother. From her looks to her talent, Lacus is a lot like her mother despite not knowing it. She just like her father has a love for normal type Pokémon. They work well against everything and with only a few disadvantages their well-rounded.
Lacus told her father she wanted to go to school to learn how to be a great coordinator like her mother. And he did just that after all who could say no to their little girl. With her partner Mr. Pink given to her when she was five. Lacus is willing to work hard for what she wants. She even plans on helping some people along the way.
Being very outgoing Lacus can’t help but be around others that need someone. She’s quick to make friends and alongside her partner there’s nothing she can’t accomplish. She has a rather up beat way of looking at things. Lacus also has a love for music. This makes her have a high chance of getting into any sort of art club. She will also never judge a person until she full gets to meet them outright.
After everything that happened during her first year Lacus still is pretty much the same as the day she walked through the academy doors. There are however a few exception to that. Lacus is now a lot more aware about things that go on and is now taking battling more seriously because of it. Although this doesn’t stop her belief that singing can somehow bring about happiness and peace. Aside from that last year brought around her interest in catching more water types and trying to specialize in that as well. Now that doesn’t mean she’s given up being a normal type trainer however that does mean she’s expanded her search for new pokemon down the road.

He is a rare Jigglypuff as there are not too many that are of the male variety. He was the first Pokémon Lacus was ever given when he was just a little Igglybuff as an egg and he is her favorite of all. Mr. Green used to be a major annoyance to him and the two never got along however things have been going a lot better since last year. He evolved in a double battle with her teammate Akira and Lavender and her partner Sullivan last year.

She's one of the slower pokemon on Lacus' team. But she has a good heart and on top of all that likes Mr. Pink. The relationship between them has been going great and she’s slowly learning the ropes. But that clueless gaze is still stuck on her face Lacus however finds it really cutes and has nothing against it. She was brought with Lacus because she could bear to separate her and Mr. Pink.

Personality: Previously, Iris was terribly shy and timid. She would try her hardest to keep from talking to people. However, after a year of living at the Avademy, she has opened up fully. Now, Iris is energetic, cheerful, and friendly to everyone she meets. Adventurous, outgoing, understanding, Iris could be described in several ways. Despite her young age, she is very concerned with the problems of the people and the world around her. One could say she is compassionate about every soul that crosses her path.
Bio: Iris was born to Cara and Rhys Piper in Mistralton City. Since it was always raining in the city, her parents named her after the colorful rainbows that would appear overhead after a storm. Given her colorful name, you would think Iris would have a colorful personality. Well, you're wrong. Iris has always been quiet and shy, hiding her face and keeping her voice to herself. She never had any friends growing up. Well, except for the wild pokemon she met. When other kids played on the playground, Iris would sneak off to the area outside the city, Chargestone Cave, or even the Celestial Tower to play with the pokemon. Sometimes, she would go to the plane docks, and explore the cargo planes. One day, while she was exploring a plane, it took off into the air. Iris was terrified, but it was there that she met a pokemon trainer, who was also the pilot. The pilot noticed the small girl stowed on her plane, and took her for a joy ride. When they landed, the pilot told Iris to be careful around the planes, but not to stop exploring them. Whenever Iris got bored, she would go visit the pilot, and play with her flying type pokemon. The pilot inspired Iris to become a trainer, and to explore the world, which is why she decided to come the Phoenix Academy with her starter pokemon, Pidove.
At the Academy, Iris made several good friends, met a lot of strong Pokemon, and learned so much more than she could have imagined. She trained her Pokemon and got stranger every day. Eventually, she came across an egg, which later hatched into a Mesprit. Was Iris freaked out? A bit. Did she love Mesprit like her own child? Yes. Yes she did. Unfortunately, the two could not stay together... Bio: Past - Marco grew up in Celestic Town home of the Sinnoh Champion Cynthia. He was a quiet guy who was interesting in pokemon since he was very young. Marco was inspired by Cynthia, who was considered a real legend in their town, and he inspired to become a Pokemon Champion like her. When he heard that Cynthia was returning to town in order to hold a contest, he was excited to finally meet her. The contest was a competition in which several questions were asked by two judges and Cynthia, the price was one of the starter pokemon. Marco studied for the contest intensely trying to pour as much basic knowledge as he could about pokemon. He managed to pass through the first few rounds and enter the final round. Marco was finally able to meet Cynthia and he nearly choked on the last question, but through a miracle he answered it correctly. Marco obtained his first pokemon, Chimchar. With his newly acquired pokemon, Marco thought he was ready to travel the world. One day, he packed his things and took his Chimchar, ready to start his new journey. However, on the outskirts of the town, he was attacked by a group of wild Pokemon. Marco tried to fight, but he panicked from the difference in strength. The wild pokemon were a Graveler and Machoke. Chimchar tried to fight, but he stood no chance against the evolved pokemon. Marco was paralyzed with fear and all he could do was watch as his Chimchar was attacked. Marco managed to look pass his fear when he banged his head against a tree. The pain was enough to shock him into his senses and he rushed to save his pokemon. He was quickly pushed back by the Machoke's great strength, fracturing his arm. Chimchar saw him in trouble and his Blaze kicked in, allowing him to evolve into Monferno. He acquire a new power and he was able to take down the Graveler with his Mach Punch, but the Machoke overwhelmed him. Finally, Cynthia came and saved them, she scolded Marco for his immaturity and for hurting his pokemon. Marco was ashamed and he bowed to always put the safety of others first. He was determined more than ever to become a Pokemon Trainer so that he would never feel so helpless again. Marco was fourteen years old and from that moment on he trained every day. He was recognize of age to travel the world and become a pokemon trainer. However, he must first go to school and learn the basics. Present - Marco entered Phoenix Academy with mixed feelings. Before he arrived at the school, he dropped by Nimbasa City where he met a very cute -really hot- sweet girl. Unfortunately, he was left heartbroken (misunderstanding at that time) and left the city with a heavy heart. Marco met a shy, but very beautiful lavender-haired girl who became his first friend in the academy. Many things happened during the year including disputes, a couple of fights, and heavy misunderstandings. Marco was having a hard time fitting in with everyone in the school because he was labeled as a delinquent early in the year. After making some friends and even getting a job at Molly's Cafe, Marco slowly started fitting in with everyone. During the Team Rocket attack on Valentine's Day, Marco left the school and went to Deception Island along with the staff and friends. He was confessed by his friends Iris and Niara one night in the island and they became a couple. Eventually, everyone returned to the academy to fight Team Rocket where Marco, along with his friends, were engaged by a Commander. With their combined strength, they managed to defeat the Commander and quickly went to join everyone else for the final battle against Team Rocket's leader: Gianna. Team Rocket was defeated and with the academy safe, the world has slowly tries to recover its wounds. Marco is looking forward to a new school year and see what kind of adventures were waiting for him.

Personality: Naive and innocent to a fault; Holly's quick to warm up to strangers, becoming friendly, quirky, caring and well-mannered. Her desire for peace, clumsiness and easygoing nature wrongfully suggest a girl of low intelligence, but she's capable of pulling her own, even if she's a bit of a crybaby.
Bio: Holly was born a month premature during a cold, winter morning. Her birth has been described as a difficult one, but her parents, Dan and Lily Holahan; an expert trainer, and a seasoned coordinator, were nonetheless overjoyed to welcome her home. Her brother Dan took a little more time to warm up to his sister, but has undoubtedly come around, and can now be described as relentlessly protective of Holly. Her parents frequently worry about her for her naive nature, but are coming to see over time that she's becoming a capable trainer.
Pokemon have always been a part of Holly's life – her parents are both trainers, after all. Because of this, Holly finds herself completely at ease with most Pokemon, and has grown to understand them deeply. She's also been a trainer from a young age, though her story is less bold than most others'. Altaria, who was a young Swablu at the time, mistook her hair for it's mother, and wound up tangled inside. Holly would cry as her mother eventually had to cut the small Pokemon free, but found herself bonding with the Flying-type. Both parents recognized the bond the girl shared the the Pokemon, and thus decided that she could keep it. The duo have been inseparable ever since, and have grown significantly stronger together.
Holly, like her brother and parents before her, attends Phoenix Academy. Her academic career was a regular one, though this would change the year after her brother's graduation. Team Shadow would make it's first appearance early that year, and Holly was forced to cope with it's members' antics without her brother by her side. At first, she would remain inactive – her parents had strictly forbidden her from joining the fights, after all. Hadn't they done so, she was too afraid to do so anyways. As time went on however, she found herself motivated by her classmates' efforts. They were making a difference! Though fearful, Holly began to pour her energy into training, and wound up adding an additional five Pokemon to her party. After bonding, and strengthening herself with these Pokemon, she'd join her classmates against Team Shadow. It was then that, with her new friends and Team Shadow alike, she was sent reeling into the past. It was there that Team Shadow was finished once and for all. Though the criminal syndicate has been erased from time, Holly and her classmates all recall the battle.
Her second year was far more dramatic than her first. Team Rocket had banded together once more, and began taking siege of entire nations. Holly quickly lost contact with her family, and as news of the takeover spread across the world, she sunk into deep depression. She'd miss many classes that year, and distanced herself from many of her peers. Pressure only built for her as a Regigigas hatched from an egg found in Ilix Forest. Many of her peers would also hatch Legendary Pokemon that year, and it was for this that Team Rocket eventually evaded. Many were captured, and while trying to bide time for her classmates to escape, Holly attacked a Commander-level officer. She was swiftly defeated and shot, and might have perished had it not been for the quick intervention of her Arcanine. Her time in hiding was thus spend recovering from her injuries. Only shortly after she recovered did Phoenix Academy's staff and students mobilize to retake their school. There, she would partner up with a good friend named Lavander, free several hostages, and defeat a Lieutenant. She would also participate in the battle in which ultimately lead to Gianna Belamonte's defeat. She would be reunited with her family shortly after. After being knighted with students and staff alike as a Knight of Phior, she would travel to the Snowpoint Temple to release her Regigigas. The parting was hard for her, and she's vowed to visit it once every year.
Overall, Holly's occasionally shy around those she first meets, but quickly warms up, and easily trusts others. Though still lighthearted and naive, she's matured a great bit during her years at Phoenix Academy. She's strong willed and desires peace among her friends; being some a pacifist while faced with conflict. In those situations where she must do so however, she's now surprisingly perceptive and capable of handling her own. She humble and knows her limits well though, and strongly dislikes putting her Pokemon or friends in harms way.

It was a young Swablu then, and had gotten separated from it's mother. Whilst in the middle of searching, it spotted Holly. It mistook her hair as it's mother and happily flew into the young girl's curls, where it would remain stuck for several hours. During the time it took Holly's mother to remove Swablu from her daughter's hair, the two formed a bond. That bond has strengthened considerably since then, and Holly has come to trust her life with Altaria. It possesses a pacifist stance in terms of battling, and would much rather soar the skies with it's trainer than fight. It's her strongest Pokemon for a reason however, and this Dragon will do all in it's power to keep it's loved ones safe.

Dratini's mischievous antics have died down as it's matured into a Dragonair, though it still enjoys harmless pranks on occasion. It enjoys soaring the skies with Holly and her Flying-type Pokemon, and dreams of a day where it might be able to fly on it's own.

Holly was initially unhappy about her egg hatching into a Trubbish, having been attacked by one previously that year, but quickly began to cherish it like all her other Pokemon. It sees her as a sort of parent, and she evidently spoils it.

Bio: Briana spent her frist year at school learning about who she was. What she figured out was that she was shy and not the best at making friends. What she also learned was that when push came to shove she could be tough. Classes were interesting and the people she met were nice, but she never felt like she fit in. She would often sit alone and maybe watch others do whatever they did but never tried to join in. Her parents were not thrilled when discovered that their only daughter was so lonely. They would often send her letters telling her to meet new people and try to make friends. She would often want to try but her shyness would get in her way. Sitting alone with her pokemon and drawing became her only comfort. Her first year was full of ups and downs. She had fallen in love and had lost it pretty fast. She had also made a close friend in Karina who had ended up being a Mew or something, neither of them are really sure about that. The pair had spent a great deal of time together of the summer hanging out and doing girl things. In addition, durning the summer, Briana had spent some more time with Bill talking about ledendries. They had even spent a nice afternoon walking the Ilex Forest and stopped at Celebi's Shrine. There Briana had found an egg of rather unusual markings. The pair had returned to Goldenrod with just enough time for Bill to catch his train back to Kanto so they had no time to figure out what it might be. Now as Briana plans her return to school she has many question about the egg and very few answers for them. Her second year at school was quite interesting as well. It was quickly discovered that almost every student Briana knew had an egg as well. Those eggs ended up being Legendary pokemon. Briana's Jirachi hatched on Christmas day. At the same time all around the world Team Rocket was taking over. After they retook Goldenrod Briana became aloof and mostly kept to herself. Her brief happy moment were when she was with her little cousin Sophie. On Valentines day though she and the rest of school ran, the two girl only just making it. They along with the rest of school were whisked off to a forsaken rock in the middle of nowhere and Briana took care of Sophie while the younger girl fell ill. Though when the opportunity arose Briana returned to Phoenix academy and fought along side her classmates. It was a battle Briana would never forget

Bio: Sophie had always been bright and bubbly even on the darkest days. Unlike her cousin, Briana, Sophie would spend her free time investigating everything and getting dirty. That was part of the reason the two never got along. Bri would always want to hang out with the local poke’maniac or day-care couple while Sophie wanted to get into the action herself. That was how Sophie found her pokemon. One day she was walking home from a day of adventuring when she saw a group of boys whacking something with a stick. As Sophie got closer she saw what they were hitting and ran at the boys, yelling at top of her lunges and flailing her arms. The boys panicked and ran off leaving Sophie to deal with a hurt Psyduck. She brought it home with her and showed her mother. Her mother, who was too busy to really notice the pokemon said that Sophie could keep it as long as she took care of it. Within a few days Sophie had gotten the Psyduck all healed and the ducky pokemon would not leave her alone. Sophie even saw her cousin her off with it by her side. A few weeks later Sophie found a bright pink egg. That was a couple of days before Team Rocket attacked Goldenrod. Sophie and her mother went into hiding. They quickly traveled out of Johto in a desperate escape to get safety. Sophie’s aunt told them to go to Adell in the region of Phior, there they would find Briana and hopefully a safe new place to live. After starting at Phoenix Academy the pink egg hatched into a Mew and I met and befriended Mewtwo. He helped me train and become stronger. I guess you could say we became friends. I also made a whole bunch of other friends over the year I was here. But Valentine’s Day really threw me for a loop. I nearly died and was only saved by Mewtwo who sent me to Briana someone and we left with the rest of the school to Deception Island. I was sick for almost the entire time we were their but I did get stronger again and soon I was ready to help fight against Team Rocket. People think that makes me less innocent now but I just think it makes me stronger. I have always hated bullies, and Team Rocket was just a big group of bullies that needed to be stopped. I miss Mew and Mewtwo and all the other legendaries that I met but I understand that they need to find their place in the world, like I will in a few years.

Bio: Natsu and her father had always been walking in a rocky road of father-daughter relationship. Since her mother was dead after giving birth to her, Natsu had no one to consult to and working as Marine Biologist, her father was too busy to stay at home long enough to reconcile. Thus she grew up independently learning many things by trial and error, and had accustomed to a couple of martial arts: Akido and Tae Kwan Doe. She also learned to love water pokemon after watching matches after matches at the pokemon gym and determined to become the best water-type trainer in the world.
Her first pokemon was a Staryu that her eleven-year-old self met in the cave near the city. They become friends fast and played together there everyday until an accident happened there. Fortunately she was saved by a pokemon she believed to be a Suicune, but hospitalized after. Hearing about her injuries, her father visited her at the hospital and gave a time-consuming scolding which caused a huge fight between the father and the daughter. From that day onwards, their relationship seemed impossible to recover.
The day after her fifteen birthday, Natsu had packed up her bag and traveled to Phior region, having enrolled in to Phoenix Academy as second year student. It was only her first year there, but a lot of unexpected things happened and most were caused by newly revived Team Rocket. Miraculously she survived the year but failed to pass the exam which was why she is here as second year student again.
